We ended up in Munich after our flight to Salzburg was cancelled due to snow. We booked into the Hilton for 1 night and to see some of the city until our flight the next day. The location was good, its a reasonable walk or 2 short stops on the underground in to the main city shopping and restaurant area - which we found convenient.
The hotel is bright, large, modern and clean. Our room was very large even with a third bed in it. The beds were comfortable and we had a nice view onto the courtyard. The staff ... spoke perfect English and were helpful and friendly. There is free wi fi in the lobby but a charge in the rooms, which was a slight disappointment. Otherwise a nice comfortable hotel in a good location. read more

After a super quick check in operation we could immediately (not always everywhere possible ) in our room. This was with all the amenities of a 4 star hotel.
Because of the good location after 2 S-Bahn stations the center very easy to reach. The mullerian volksbad and the deutsches museum is a few minutes.
The breakfast selection and quality was really excellent. From Cappuccino, Latte macchaito on bavarian weisswürsten, the order omelets with anfertigungsnummerierung to free sektnutzung -everything was great.
This Hilton Hotel we can recommend with a good conscience. read more

The hotel is located within walking distance to Deutschen Museum, circa 1.2 kilometer and to the center, marienplatz cs. 2,1 kilometer.
The hotel has no pool. The room area to the garden is the quietest as the street noise is missing. read more

The Hotel Hilton city Munich has approximately 600 rooms and is centrally located to the rosenheimer platz. Here (almost) all S-Bahn-lines.
The frontdesk employees are friendly. Check-in and check-out was fast.
My standard room on the 3. floor was large, had a modern design (curved lines at the desk) and offers next to a bed, a closet (with iron and ironing board/iron, and safety deposit box), work desk, dresser, armchair, table, telephone, radio alarm clock, mini bar, a flat screen tv and coffee/tea.
The bathroom is big enough and has a bath tub/shower with curtain, toilet and sink with high-quality ... toiletries. Next to bath towel and a hand towel in the bathroom there is even washcloths.
Unfortunately for the rooms standard room no bathrobes and slippers available as before, a few years ago. Probably one economy to the victims.
It was during my stay nothing to complain about. For participating at the breakfast buffet the guest 28,00 Euro shell out. A steep price. It was worth it to eat out (the rosenheimer platz there is several possibilities) for breakfast. read more

Already outdated, however absolutely recommendable Hilton in a good location. A sauna is missing to my surprise, but one could do sports in the fitness lounge make. read more

Centrally located and good underground and s-bahn train connections is the Hilton munich city. Highly recommended are executive room, which provides access to the executive lounge possible, in which breakfast and evening snacks in a nice atmosphere. The rooms are generally good, the bathroom is relatively small. Some areas such as the lobby could have been a bit more lighting, the restaurant looks a bit old-fashioned. Prices as internet or minibar are exaggerated, but it was a stay here. read more

We went to a city break in Munich. Then we wanted with the aircraft further. So was the Hilton München City ideal for us. Unfortunately, there was no swimming pool, you referred to a nearby public swimming pool. At the weekend was the breakfast buffet at 9 o'clock quite crowded, it hardly gave places. Everything was ok apart from that. Nevertheless : the hotel reminded us rather of a ' garden inn ' by Hilton than a ' real ' Hilton with 5 stars. read more

For the simple reason of checkin problems I can not rate this place more than average. Despite that I found my room on the Executive floor to be very small and not all the items working properly. I.e two lamps were not working but have been changed while I was there. However it is not my job to keep maintenance up to date. read more

We felt very comfortable from the first to last minute.
The whole staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet left no wishes unfulfilled, coffee and orange juice (upon request) were served quickly and promptly. Only around 8:00 o'clock the breakfast room was very crowded, you better come around half past 8
Upon arrival, a reading lamp by the bed was broken. We reported this and when we came back from our stroll, there was a message saying that they still were trying hard to fix the damage shortly. Next to it was a mini tool box with ... mints - that's a nice touch.
We had a room (3021) to the street, tilted the window during the day. and closed during the night. So it was for sleeping pleasantly cool and very quiet.
City train connection in the house, connected to the main routes, without having to step out the door, that is super convenient.
The bathroom may not be very big, but it still had the normal size of German hotel bathrooms.
Wireless Internet is available for a fee, we have set up the connection for our laptop using our mobile phone.
Elevators are without waiting time sufficiently available.
We are already looking forward to our next stay in this hotel. read more

A great hotel for a short break. Unfortunately some employees were not very friendly. At the check-in no page available, furthermore only ask explains how it to the room respectively where the breakfast area is. Whilst checking out noticed, that no good trip home was. It was merely the invoices ransacked, whether everything settled was. Breakfast: the breakfast was hearty and of the quality good, however there was on the current sunday a queue with waiting guests. This shall in such a hotel not happen. Furthermore, merely the room number choppy and one had itself a place/secure. The room service ... was good and friendly. The location is really excellent. Every possibility with the public to the center to come, although it must be said, that the hotel is very centrally located. Room: as other hotel guests reported the rooms are reasonable but one can notice the years. read more

The stay in the hotel Hilton city in Munich was very according to our expectations. Great easy to reach over S-Bahn from the airport respectively for any of the rides in Munich ( access from the train station rosenheimer platz right to the hotel). Quiet room, rich breakfast buffet and above all extremely helpful and friendly staff. As music friends was the proximity (a few meters on foot ) the philharmonic orchestra gasteig of great advantage. We have three days very comfortable. read more

The Hilton Munich-city is the quality of Hilton absolutely do it justice. The rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped, the staff are friendly and generally efficient ( however was once the front desk call not reachable), eventual mistake were immediately corrected.
A few small weaknesses in the apart from that very good hotels: according to advertising is the access directly from the airport-S-Bahn possible. This is true in principle, nevertheless can the way very cold and drafty are, and you must have a staircase to the elevator, which is not good, if you have luggage with you, because there ... no one helps, since the stairs not part of the hotel is. Use the revolving door of the main entrance, you should good for groups, easy, it is not.
The rooms are altogether well maintained, if you look, notice but, that they have been a few years have seen. Nothing which somehow is a problem, but it begins, the age to see. The hotel has but also recognized, and you told me, for 2013 is a renovation planned. Exemplary, that you already reacted, and not wait until, the rooms really unappealing would have been. read more

This not more brand new city hotel with a private subway and s- Bahnzugang is for city breaks very recommendable. In all areas the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, but could a renovation use. The only real point of criticism: in the breakfast area eggs and omelets fried and we had to us after the breakfast move, since we after' kitchen' rays. read more

We have 2 nights in the hotel booked-and unfortunately only negative experiences made.
The staff at the reception was rude and abrupt, we were not on the way to the room or times informed.
The room was OK - however the wallpaper was generally run down in some places. No, what you from the name Hilton expected.
We are at 10 o'clock into town broken into and took the ' please room machen' sign on the door. At 16 o'clock the room was still not made. Excuses had the staff enough - unfortunately these were not, and different.
