We were only one night the schloss münichau-we will definitely go back! The dinner in amaryllis was delicious - because of a wedding, there was only limited offer, but the was okay. The bar has a great atmosphere and by the barkeeper Walter we had a great evening! read more

We were already very often in Kitzbühel and never had such a bad experience!
Schloss münichau's doorstep, we will never again book!
1. on the 1. day went the heater not! It had no more than 10 degrees in the room! It has 10 hours long nobody care (answer the daughter of the hotel(works at the front desk and is absolutely incompetent): ' what should i now!? '
2. room was dirty! Black pants in the closet was to even put in gray!

4. on 3. day became my ski, helmet, sticks ... and ski goggles from the ski room stolen!
Response of the frechen receptionist' yes, if you no insurance, is their problem! We are not'
5. on new year's eve gave us a employee promised, us into town to drive!
5 minutes before departure he could then but not! We have 1 hour for a taxi waited and a course our very expensive menus failed!
6. the rooms chalet are so badly soundproofed, that you just heard, which on tv in the next room runs!
Kitzbühel is great, however i cannot recommend this hotel to anyone! read more

A stay in the past with a tv in the room and running water. The furnishing is unique, and you feel all around however. It in an old building sometimes makes, is completely normal. We will gladly again there nächtigen. read more

Once something else - you feel back to old times. Entrance, garden, front desk and restaurant are completely in the style respectively romantic decor. The room was for our taste too old-fashioned and cramped with a furniture-mix of 'Baroque meats the 70' s '(' tower rooms' by the Ritter Hans). Unfortunately in all the Möbelchen in vain after the mini bar and a safe looking for. ☺. The ' Badezimmerchen ' is probably the smallest we'have ever had and the bed is more for small people made, but. In a castle from the 15 century. Still luxurious☺. The staff are ... in any case very friendly and you get in the restaurant a excellent service. The menu was in our opinion no 16 Gault Millau points worth ( appetizer on the 1. evening a 'meat T-shirt' with mashed potatoes and Rahmsauce with Eierschwämmchen -quite difficult and not nice presented) however the main courses were very good. Unfortunately makes the kitchen Differences-probably lag ' s in our arrangement ( Big Extra tours) and also what the presentation of the dishes and we found it unfortunately. Were as travel group by bus on the way. Since at the evening a wedding took place there for 44 people in the entire hotel neither meals nor drinks. There was no possibility at least a bottle of water to buy, let alone then evenings still comfortably together properties. After we then ventured out ( thank god there were nearby a few restaurants) we looked a little and eventually discovered located in the most premises not a soul the wedding funtioning. Nevertheless we got nothing to drink. The was very annoying and has no good impression leave.
The hotel itself ... is not bad, but I would not go over there any more. Reminded rather of a museum than a hotel. The balcony furniture was old and weathered and urgently be renewed. Our room was very small. OK for one night but longer if we had not want to stay. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. Everything was there what a comfortable breakfast need. read more

We had a standard room: the bed a catastrophe! We didn't get a wink. ( mattresses worn out, bed rolled and crashed and something krappelte the whole time! Bathroom ancient! We are after one night left. Never again! read more

We were for a short hiking and golfing holiday in the schloss münichau's doorstep, and the stay really enjoyed it. Okay, our bed in the standard room squeak (see vorbewertung), but it was absolutely no reason to leave. A small note to the front desk and certainly is the problem in the meantime been resolved. Unfortunately, we have no safe and no mini bar in the room found.
Otherwise: super friendly employees/inside, delicious dinner in the gourmet restaurant ' amaryllis ', breakfast sufficient (on request various egg dishes ), everything is great clean and simply times another ambience to stay. ...
The region is for golfers very recommendable - a golf course lies maximally 2 kilometer away and one of the top places in Austria (gc eichenheim) is fast attainable (here definitely an e-cart use - thanks for the tip the receptionist!). Also for hiking there were something for every taste. We will come back for sure. read more

A castle with feel good factor, it has all around everything fit. The room was a real ' aha'Erlebnis. Very tasty dinner as 3-course menu (2 bonnets). Breakfast somewhat well arranged, but on request also an Eigericht offered (you don't have afterwards questions). We were extremely satisfied. Even the weather was good. read more

We have found what we were looking for. In quaint and historic rooms to stay. The typical light-flooded and straight hotel room to be romantic security with all comfort beaten. Exciting, different and comfortable.
The food in the restaurant... Excellent. And the stylish ambience. The food should taste may but also fun... And that was it.

What you with love from an old castle can do, you can see in this house the best! Modernity combined with conservation a good successful symbiosis.
