A gorgeous area on the edge a small village. To ubud there is depending upon traffic conditions about 30 minutes with the free shuttle bus (6 times daily at scheduled times). The complex is a steep slope with several terraces built. The various terraces depending on the condition on stairs or (those who prefer not to spend would like) with a kind of seilzugbahn, in the 5-6 persons at the same time fit into it. Everything was very green and the different building are partly not at all to descry. The restaurant is of the gorge to open and offers ... beautiful views (also on the zweiterrassige pool area below). You go through the gorge and crossed the river on a narrow rope (actually only 3 strong branches with a railing) and rising on the other side back up, you got to a temple. Very worth seeing although something arduous. The villas are a dream. It wasn't missing anything. At 2 morning kids then romped around very loudly right barn monkeys on our roof and stealing in the pool. Great opportunity for extraordinary photos. The food ( breakfast, as well as dinner) is great in terms of variety and quality. The beverages ( in first line wine) are however very expensive. I don't know, whether the really to be. We have wine denied, although we solid price of other locations ( for example Maldives) are used, but here was our threshold significantly exceeded. 2 tips still: the morning guided hike through the rice paddies in the area ( good 2 hours and afterwards direct for breakfast), as well as the tamarind spa from murnis house directly in ubud, which excellent and is on a other very known vacation review of platform as the unreserved number 1 run. Navigate. We were there twice and it every time super and price, where you tears in the eyes gets, if you Germany or the versus compares. read more

Top gepflegtes hotel, very friendly service staff. Wonderful villa with panoramic views and spacious room everything very tastefully decorated. Only the spa and the food is for the local standards overpriced, for example one hour massage about 750000 rp (about 64 €) in ubud good massages for 100-150,000 rp (circa 8,50 Euro - 12,50 Euro) or dinner for 2 people with ' rijstafel' and drinks 1.1 million rp (about 92 €) in ubud around 200 to 500.000 rp (17, -€-42, -€). Still deserves the staff only 1 million rp/month (= 85 €). Also you forgot ... our 'silver anniversary'. Therefore only good. - we had room only and breakfast. Many honeymooners in the guests, very international and well-kept guest structure. read more

The pool villa was very spacious, clean and very well furnished. We had the half board, a truly excellent dinner includes. The hotel is international. In september were many couples, no children, for the is this hotel less suitable. The complex attracts the whole slope down and is by stairs or funicular. Wonderful to wake up in the morning, in bed the panorama and also once from a monkey to be observed. read more

Great very personal hotel in the middle of the rain forest and the rice fields. Here you find for absolute peace and seclusion. Who commotions and options for going out searches, is here in any case wrong, the drive with the free shuttle bus to ubud takes for example 30 minutes per distance.
Since it was only about 30 villas is, there is no hustle and bustle to see. A excellent breakfast buffet ordered, really recommendable! We have booked half board, what I would also recommend to anyone, as it in the area without Taxinutzung no restaurants returns. The dinner ... but star level and is more than recommendable. Before-the-spot order of three courses must be however with circa 50 US Dollar be prepared.
Recommendable is it, the hotel also too abandoned and in the nearby rice Paddies ( for example with free bicycles) to drive. Also recommendable is a walk to the river below in the valley and climb up to the temple on the opposite side, a truly nice view is offered.
The service in the hotel and in the restaurant is outstanding, from the 2. restaurant attendance one was for example with his name. The staff is really excellent, the ambience and the price of the hotel perfectly adequate.
Unfortunately is stay and the around ( drinks, spa, further offers) not cheap, for Bali even very expensive. Nevertheless we have the 3-day stay very enjoyed and would to anyone a visit of the hotel recommend. read more

Ubud hanging gardens, a dream in the jungle

The ubud hanging gardens is a right in the jungle located five star hotel under French leadership. We spend four nights there and can only say, that the hotel really all around perfect for us. We had a panoramic Viwe deluxe pool villa, like the name already says, with a private pool had. From the bed you could directly on the pool and beyond jungle look. Just amazing. One was in the pool, one had unbelievable view of the temple is located on the opposite side the hillside. The hotel itself features furthermore have two for all the guests accessible ... infinity pools. The villa offers actually everything, which one can only introduce oneself: bath tub, outdoor shower, Innendusche, relax area, Slippers, bathrobes, daily fresh fruit and, of course, the incredible view, you have seen with your own eyes should. What also impressed, is, that you really by Geckos, lizards and also small monkey is visited-one is just in the middle in the jungle. We only booked with breakfast and we encountered Haute almost around. A culinary paradise! Starting with homemade jams, on most delicious rice pudding, fresh Baguettes, croissants and other breads, pancakes, a massive früchtbüfett, muesli and cereal, four different freshly squeezed juices and a buffet on warm too many indonesian and British food and salads.
A absolute dream. Every morning a little highlight. In the afternoon there were between 16-5:00 P. M. A free 'tea time' - tea or coffee, as well as balinese confectionery, cakes and pastry in the bar with a view of the ayung river. Also the dinner in the restaurant we have missed us. Although the prices are quite high, is the food always worth the money. We tried amongst others Disaponted goreng, the chic Caesar salad, different curry dishes but also international cuisine. Everything a absolute Culinary Delight. Before the actual main course there was always a small' greeting from of the kitchen', as well as warm bread. And the dessert first unique. The optical arrangement of the food was absolutely successful. To ordered cocktails are also free snacks as roasted peanuts etc. Serves. What the staff regards, one can say, that this always make an effort is, the guests nice and friendly to treat and many try one even with name to address. It was always tried the guests every request to fulfill. All together you can say: a perfect hotel and a great time in an upscale if not even luxurious atmosphere we went to the spa because of the right high prices didn't use it, it made however an equally inviting impression, like the rest of the hotel. Across the temple can visit you, the Bambusbrücke crossed and about 20 minutes upward runs. The view of the hotel is also overwhelming, even if the climb but at high temperatures is very tiring. Although the hotel somewhat outside lies, you have the possibility to a free shuttle bus service to ubud to use, between 9:00 and 5:00 P. M. Drives. Furthermore for employment or various sightseeing excursions, as well as Yoga, cooking, trekking course etc. For a fee offered.
We recommend:

It is still very nice.
The a few quiet days in ubud was the right choice. The day started with a wonderful breakfast buffet at. Afterwards swim in the private swimming pool, a trip after ubud (with the hotel's own shuttle bus), back in the hotel somewhat rest, tea time, again swim - a wonderful time.
The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was big. From the bed you had a view over the private pool in the jungle.
In this hotel with personalized service for high expectations, the with much attention to detail you designed a outstandingly ... beautiful vacation experience.
As the hotel by Chinese tourists was ausgbucht, you noticed in your own bungalow none of these. read more

This hotel has a stunning first impression on us. It is located or middle depends on in the jungle, the Djungelgeräusche are amazing. The hotel has its earned five stars. There is always a small meal on the plate. The villas are large and comfortable. We booked a Balinese massage, which I would recommend, the spa area is open air and close to the water fall, during the massage were a one-time sound of rushing water Djungelgeräuschen films with combined. Great! In the morning were the monkeys jumped on our roof, but they are very shy. Unfortunately, it has more ... often rained and it was not as warm as the days before the Haehe the beach and I missed the sea. It was too quiet and oede in this hotel, we had the ubud Hanging gardens for six nights. But we stayed two nights and then only to the sister hotel Jimbaran Puri Bali, the on the beach. It has also a little more musty smell, since it was very damp, it is just not enough in the jungle. I found it great for 1 day or two, but then it was enough for me. But it was definitely worth a visit! read more

We would highly recommend a few euros more $$ and a pool villa, with view to take extra timeconsuming, this definitely. Since the food in the hotel was very good but comes at a price, we sometimes late in the evening with a shuttle bus drove to Ubud, this is free of charge and will take about 30 minutes to Ubud normal traffic. There is a street that looked like the or the Walk of Fame, in Jl Kajeng 11 there is a restaurant called Bali yoga, ( high street, left) where we had for 2 pers. For 50,000 ... - 80,000 rup ate and drank, it was clean and the food was good. This is not a gourmet restaurant but as said was good and cheap. Be careful at the Hanging Garden breakfast just because everything else more than makes no sense in my eyes. read more

Absolute dream hotel for those seeking peace guests. The private pool with a view of the opposite Temple is simple grand, although we chose the cheapest Zimmervariante! We had a sensational short trip to the hanging gardens with the finest gastronomy and lots of relaxation. The shuttle bus to take people every hour to Ubud and back. If it later, you can easily take a taxi. We highly recommend a spa treatment. Massage is very, very pleasantly, including birds and Bächerauschen. read more

This is a truly outstanding hotel beautifully located and offers pure relaxation for individualists. Never before have we seen anything like. We were there 3 days of our honeymoon and we loved it. The villas are great, the views are magnificent and service is exemplary. There are panoramic-villas and Riverside villas. If you're a light sleeper you might not for a Riverside Villa because the river through the gorge leads, is quite noisey. Internet access in the library free of charge and someone who has been reat knock books, this the library donations. This is the following guests. For three ... days, for worked fine for us, as it really is an absolute relaxing hotel. The own hotel bus it 50mtr between the artist's village Ubud and the hotel, the journey takes about 30 minutes. Highly recommend to stroll through the market in Ubud. read more

We were the second time at the hanging gardens. Some points have improved and other have not been changed: + rooms are beautiful! + The private pools are now finally Heatable ( that was necessary because the water was very cold outside). + Breakfast was very good with a nice variety. + Nice TV in the room, safe was ok. + The location is actually very nice. We're sorry, but it is difficult to dine out ( Ubud is about 20 minutes away). - Außenmöbel ( for example beach chairs) through the weather for T. Rather run down. - Restaurant ... is extremely expensive! Unfortunately hardly any other options as it is very isolated. - Minibar compared to other hotels in Bali also huge expensive. - Upgrade to a Panoramic View room hardly worth it. cost us only $30 more per night, but it was really only the view "better". Tips: go to walk all the way down to the river walk. There were an adventurous bridge and a walk through the jungle. have fun. read more
