You want the stressigen everyday, you are in the ubud hanging gardens on the best place. in the pool villas is everything available, which one wishes itself, and wi-fi is available free of charge (but with satellite, so the connection sometimes a little bit worse.) From other guests you get nothing with, as during the day everyone in his villa with private pool, view - you look so only for dinner. read hotel review

Our panoramic villa was huge and almost like a small apartment. The outdoor area is the private pool, a small roofed hut with cushions and pool chairs, 2 beach chairs, 1 table as well as a shower. The interior consists of a large bed with mosquito net and a huge bathroom, with a bath-shower and 2 sink are accommodated... The tv even had a docking station for iPhone/iPod.

We had booked half-board, which we also on the location of the hotel would recommend. Also a plus for the half board booking the prices are in the restaurant, the without half board but in itself have (both the food and drinks). The breakfast was varied and everyone comes on its costs all the same, whether cereal or freshly prepared egg foods. The dinner consisted of a 3 - course menu, which one even from a large card put together they did could. The ingredients were very high quality, what the taste noticeable. The restaurant staff was always very attentive and knew already on the 2. day our drink orders

The friendliness of the entire hotel staff was absolutely top! Everyone greeted rather once more than not... Than one night due to a tropical rain the wireless internet not working and we told the reception had, ran immediately technician through the resort around the disturbance to locate and fix it. The room cleaning was top. It was daily 1 time completely cleaned and at night there was a renewed 'turn down service', the shutters closed and the mosquito nets over the bed spread.

In the hotel there was a huge 2 - storey infinity pool, but only than photography opportunities is, as each villa has its own pool has.

The hotel is hidden away in the middle of a valley in the jungle, so that you unfortunately very is bound. However, there is an on-site shuttle to ubud village, which we did not use however. The only noises were crickets and a few scooter, on a main road.

The best hotel which we ever had. It was everything is great. Like every room it has a private pool, as well as with private terrace and outdoor shower. In the bathroom there was a large tub also as stehdusche worked. Two sinks and so forth Free wi-fi, tv with dvd player and whatever else. It wasn't missing anything.

We had the half board i also would recommend. For breakfast great buffet where it for any taste what gives. For dinner there is a 3-course menu which one itself from the map together represents. Only drawback are the prices for the beverages which one to pay must. They have it all.

If one which baucht will help you out. However degrees which the room is concerned, there is no reason for assistance, since everything available and is great. The staff is super friendly and greets a rather five times a day, rather than to forget.

  • Sport & Leisure

There were no sports activities in this hotel. Would also be completely in the wrong place. For entertainment, the same applies. Only the free afternoon tea is for a bit of entertainment ensured (for example kindertanzvorführung ). The hotel pool is wonderful. Designed like rice terraces over two floors with a great view over the jungle. Used it however nearly only to the pictures otherwise it is almost always empty, everyone in its private pool sports.

The hotel area was in a hill/mountain integrated. The front desk is located atop. From there one arrives either via stairs or the open elevator/track railway. Given the mass of stairs or the altitude is the elevator a fine thing. About midway is the restaurant, a shop, a library (books can be borrowed for free) and the amazing pool. In the lower part of the area there was the café and spa. Everything is super clean and in perfect condition. In the villas there is free wi-fi internet access. Breakfast is included in the price, lunch and dinner is also ... possible at an additional cost. Structure of the guests was very mixed, i would say mostly australians, but also germans, americans, british etc. Rare families with children. read hotel review

We had a villa for 4 persons. This went over 2 floors. My sister and i had the lower room 2 single beds, tv, huge shower (there one can go loosely to 4. purely), 2 sinks, an extra toilet, closets and balcony with 2 beach chairs. We didn't use the balcony. We were always at the top of the terrace by the pool. The upper rooms had a double bed, tv, large bathroom, desk, safety deposit box etc. Both rooms have air conditioning and were huge. Upstairs was the terrace and the private pool. This is not huge, but we found it simply only great. Umbrella and 2 beach chairs, and 2 covered seating. Right on our terrace there were banana. We would have liked the bananas so pick can. There was also a minibar. Prices for Cola okay, alcoholic drinks were very expensive, but that is in Indonesia normal. A kettle for instandkaffee there were also, as well as a telephone. Wi-fi is in the whole complex available free of charge. The rooms are typical indonesian furnished, everything clean and in good condition

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

The hotel has a restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner could be eaten. I can only for breakfast something, because the other we didn't use It is an american breakfast. The waiters and waitresses questions, whether one coffee or dte would like. Ordered you equal per person a pot, otherwise you have to often order. Also the all-morning question, whether one egg or omelet to have would like. The selection is great. There was always a soup, a few typical indonesian, warm dishes, as well as cold cuts, cheese, jam, different kinds of bread and rolls, cereal, fruit, pastries. If you didn't get full it was your own fault. Everything is very more delicious and fresh. In addition of course different juices. Breakfast is included in the room rate and it goes from 6:30 a. m. los. The restaurant is very clean and well cared for. Only with the fruit salads you have to be careful. Despite deckelchen on the glasses lost a wasp in there.

  • Service
    6.0

So the service in the hotel is incredible. Whoever, the entire staff is extremely friendly. So friendly that it after 2 days annoying ☺ but that is not bad or meant negatively. It is in the nature of the indonesians and we are not used to it. No fake friendliness! It all speak english, the is Bali next to indonesian the 2. verbreiteste language. 2 times per day the reinigungstrup /room service. In the morning and in the evening. On the 1st night i away skilfully as i thought 'hey what do the here, have already cleaned'. Well, it is so that in the morning the house to be cleaned, water replenished and the fruit of the day brought to you. In the evening the service comes then again around the bedroom nachtfertig to make. In other words the nets will be opened, the bed ready to get into hatching uncovered, mosquito repellent in the plug stuck, blinds to etc. You must first know. In the afternoon, there were in the café always for one hour the afternoon tea. This means you get a free tea or coffee, and pastries. This time always children from the nearby located school and either go local dances or crafts something for the guests. By the way we should present accept. It is impolite this be rejected (sad way again guests) the children require nothing for it, but this is part of the. But it is of course gladly seen if a small tip. It is only 5000,- Rupees (ridiculous 50 cents). In the room there is per person 1 bottle of water to drink (in the minibar, there was also a kettle and soluble coffee, does not taste however, free of charge) and to brush your teeth are also little bottles of water ready. Außserdem a box with all kinds of utensils for example, toothbrushes, sewing kit, aspirin, free of charge! As well as a bathrobe (sarong) and slippers are provided. In the hotel you can book spa treatments, as well as special arrangements (for example, dinner on the river), a car with driver or various excursions. Food, arrangements and wellness are in my opinion too expensive (sandwich from 15, -). Wellness gets it in ubud city for 5-10,-Euro in the hotel about 50, -. The excursions were partly priced okay. Driver with car for a day, at 75, -circa but it drives you the whole day where you want and pulls you not over the table. Very important: there is a free shuttle service to ubud. This runs from my 9 hours-last return 17:30. the journey takes 30 minutes and in ubud there is everything that your heart could desire. Good restaurants, bar, café and wellness temple, and shops.

  • Sport & Leisure
    6.0

There are no leisure time facilities many. Well as the library and the spa. The it was almost. There are daily many activities such as excursions, rafting and mountain bike tours. These are liable to pay the costs, but priced okay. The pool is gigantic. It is on 2 levels and a magazine (think it was picture of the woman) to one of the 15 most dialed. To my shame, i must confess that we didn't used once.

The hotel is about 30 minutes outside of ubud town, in the middle of the jungle. Around the hotel area was only jungle or rainforest. Just before the entrance is a small, simple, typical indonesian hinterlanddorf. The resort is 2 hours from the airport and the capital. But do not forget: this resort is located in the middle of the jungle, so you should animals be prepared. Cockroaches are only 2 met, so you don't have to worry. Otherwise there was of course like lizards and geckos in any size. Bats, butterflies, frogs and birds naturally also. And then there are the monkeys. We only 2 times seen as we for afternoon coffee were. The lower villas should often have the pleasure of. A mantis we sometimes also visited. Hear cicadas there is also, they make a terrible racket, on our arrival we thought this would be a alarm clock, but it was this small, sweet animals. At night it is quiet ☺ but one hears after dark ao animals ☺ as we now know a geckoart : tokkeh. Spiders and other bugs we have only a few. The geckos lost more frequently times into the place if one leaves the door on. But has the advantage that the kinds of insects feed. Mosquitoes, we didn't see any and overall, we had for 4 people about 4 bites.

A gorgeous area on the edge a small village. To ubud there is depending upon traffic conditions about 30 minutes with the free shuttle bus (6 times daily at scheduled times). The complex is a steep slope with several terraces built. The various terraces depending on the condition on stairs or (those who prefer not to spend would like) with a kind of seilzugbahn, in the 5-6 persons at the same time fit into it. Everything was very green and the different building are partly not at all to descry. The restaurant is of the gorge to open and offers ... beautiful views (also on the zweiterrassige pool area below). You go through the gorge and crossed the river on a narrow rope (actually only 3 strong branches with a railing) and rising on the other side back up, you got to a temple. Very worth seeing although something arduous. The villas are a dream. It wasn't missing anything. At 2 morning kids then romped around very loudly right barn monkeys on our roof and stealing in the pool. Great opportunity for extraordinary photos. The food ( breakfast, as well as dinner) is great in terms of variety and quality. The beverages ( in first line wine) are however very expensive. I don't know, whether the really to be. We have wine denied, although we solid price of other locations ( for example Maldives) are used, but here was our threshold significantly exceeded. 2 tips still: the morning guided hike through the rice paddies in the area ( good 2 hours and afterwards direct for breakfast), as well as the tamarind spa from murnis house directly in ubud, which excellent and is on a other very known vacation review of platform as the unreserved number 1 run. Navigate. We were there twice and it every time super and price, where you tears in the eyes gets, if you Germany or the versus compares. read hotel review

Top gepflegtes hotel, very friendly service staff. Wonderful villa with panoramic views and spacious room everything very tastefully decorated. Only the spa and the food is for the local standards overpriced, for example one hour massage about 750000 rp (about 64 €) in ubud good massages for 100-150,000 rp (circa 8,50 Euro - 12,50 Euro) or dinner for 2 people with ' rijstafel' and drinks 1.1 million rp (about 92 €) in ubud around 200 to 500.000 rp (17, -€-42, -€). Still deserves the staff only 1 million rp/month (= 85 €). Also you forgot ... our 'silver anniversary'. Therefore only good. - we had room only and breakfast. The hotel is located very isolated, but gorgeous in a valley. By taxi or (free) shuttle about 30 minutes from ubud. Behind the hotel there is a village, that a large (hindu) ceremony made, very interesting! Otherwise you are on the hotel committed. Unfortunately took the last shuttle around 17:00 to ubud or 17:30 back, also one set us about 10-15 minutes away from the center from, because supposedly so much traffic. We took but always a taxi for 100000 rp (= 8,50 Euro) on the way back. From there you should explore the heart of the island.

Reception by the manager, very pleasant and friendly manager. You choose, we had the half board, from the restaurant map three courses from. And specials of the day. The kitchen has a upscale claim, there is the classic baligerichte, but they are very modern and with international influences funkiness going. Fish and meat dishes, could not be faulted. Everything great prepared and decorated. Lush portions. The food was overall very good. Breakfast consists of a buffet that offers everything, from specialegg over typical balikost on european cheese and ham to creme brulee and bananencake. For gourmets the hotel is set. Great very personal hotel in the middle of the rain forest and the rice fields. Here you find for absolute peace and seclusion. Who commotions and options for going out searches, is here in any case wrong, the drive with the free shuttle bus to ubud takes for example 30 minutes per distance. Since it was only about 30 villas is, there is no hustle and bustle to see. A excellent breakfast buffet ordered, really recommendable! We have booked half board, what I would also recommend to anyone, as it in the area without Taxinutzung no restaurants returns. The dinner ... but star level and is more than recommendable. Before-the-spot order of three courses must be however with circa 50 US Dollar be prepared. Recommendable is it, the hotel also too abandoned and in the nearby rice Paddies ( for example with free bicycles) to drive. Also recommendable is a walk to the river below in the valley and climb up to the temple on the opposite side, a truly nice view is offered. The service in the hotel and in the restaurant is outstanding, from the 2. restaurant attendance one was for example with his name. The staff is really excellent, the ambience and the price of the hotel perfectly adequate. Unfortunately is stay and the around ( drinks, spa, further offers) not cheap, for Bali even very expensive. Nevertheless we have the 3-day stay very enjoyed and would to anyone a visit of the hotel recommend. read hotel review

Ubud hanging gardens, a dream in the jungle archived

The ubud hanging gardens is a right in the jungle located five star hotel under French leadership. We spend four nights there and can only say, that the hotel really all around perfect for us. We had a panoramic Viwe deluxe pool villa, like the name already says, with a private pool had. From the bed you could directly on the pool and beyond jungle look. Just amazing. One was in the pool, one had unbelievable view of the temple is located on the opposite side the hillside. The hotel itself features furthermore have two for all the guests accessible ... infinity pools. The villa offers actually everything, which one can only introduce oneself: bath tub, outdoor shower, Innendusche, relax area, Slippers, bathrobes, daily fresh fruit and, of course, the incredible view, you have seen with your own eyes should. What also impressed, is, that you really by Geckos, lizards and also small monkey is visited-one is just in the middle in the jungle. We only booked with breakfast and we encountered Haute almost around. A culinary paradise! Starting with homemade jams, on most delicious rice pudding, fresh Baguettes, croissants and other breads, pancakes, a massive früchtbüfett, muesli and cereal, four different freshly squeezed juices and a buffet on warm too many indonesian and British food and salads. A absolute dream. Every morning a little highlight. In the afternoon there were between 16-5:00 P. M. A free 'tea time' - tea or coffee, as well as balinese confectionery, cakes and pastry in the bar with a view of the ayung river. Also the dinner in the restaurant we have missed us. Although the prices are quite high, is the food always worth the money. We tried amongst others Disaponted goreng, the chic Caesar salad, different curry dishes but also international cuisine. Everything a absolute Culinary Delight. Before the actual main course there was always a small' greeting from of the kitchen', as well as warm bread. And the dessert first unique. The optical arrangement of the food was absolutely successful. To ordered cocktails are also free snacks as roasted peanuts etc. Serves. What the staff regards, one can say, that this always make an effort is, the guests nice and friendly to treat and many try one even with name to address. It was always tried the guests every request to fulfill. All together you can say: a perfect hotel and a great time in an upscale if not even luxurious atmosphere we went to the spa because of the right high prices didn't use it, it made however an equally inviting impression, like the rest of the hotel. Across the temple can visit you, the Bambusbrücke crossed and about 20 minutes upward runs. The view of the hotel is also overwhelming, even if the climb but at high temperatures is very tiring. Although the hotel somewhat outside lies, you have the possibility to a free shuttle bus service to ubud to use, between 9:00 and 5:00 P. M. Drives. Furthermore for employment or various sightseeing excursions, as well as Yoga, cooking, trekking course etc. For a fee offered. It is still very nice. The a few quiet days in ubud was the right choice. The day started with a wonderful breakfast buffet at. Afterwards swim in the private swimming pool, a trip after ubud (with the hotel's own shuttle bus), back in the hotel somewhat rest, tea time, again swim - a wonderful time. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was big. From the bed you had a view over the private pool in the jungle. In this hotel with personalized service for high expectations, the with much attention to detail you designed a outstandingly ... beautiful vacation experience. As the hotel by Chinese tourists was ausgbucht, you noticed in your own bungalow none of these. read hotel review

This hotel has a stunning first impression on us. It is located or middle depends on in the jungle, the Djungelgeräusche are amazing. The hotel has its earned five stars. There is always a small meal on the plate. The villas are large and comfortable. We booked a Balinese massage, which I would recommend, the spa area is open air and close to the water fall, during the massage were a one-time sound of rushing water Djungelgeräuschen films with combined. Great! In the morning were the monkeys jumped on our roof, but they are very shy. Unfortunately, it has more ... often rained and it was not as warm as the days before the Haehe the beach and I missed the sea. It was too quiet and oede in this hotel, we had the ubud Hanging gardens for six nights. But we stayed two nights and then only to the sister hotel Jimbaran Puri Bali, the on the beach. It has also a little more musty smell, since it was very damp, it is just not enough in the jungle. I found it great for 1 day or two, but then it was enough for me. But it was definitely worth a visit! read hotel review

The villas have inclusive outdoor area all a size of about 100 meters² and are all very nicely furnished and in great condition. Particularly the bathroom is huge and tastefully decorated.

The hotel has a main restaurant in the too many asian menu and the prices are the hotel standard relatively high. Anyone who does not want to, the possibility until 18 o'clock in the lower level in the café a small something to eat or after 18 o'clock in the bar under the restaurant. There is also the possibility the bamboo deck a picnic to book, where you undisturbed is with a 'butler'. But no matter where you ate, the atmosphere was simply unique.

I have stayed in any five star hotel previously experienced anything! You will always be addressed by name, everyone is always friendly, accommodating and helpful. Each employee speaks English and there is no problems with being understood. For the guest everything is done what he wishes- all together the all-inclusive-carefree-package! The room boys came twice a day. Morning at around the room tidying up and cleaning and evenings at the room or the bed for the night prepare!

Wow! Also I have never experienced, because even the two main pool is alone. By the pools in the villas and the offer in the hotel spread the everything so well, that you really believe the only guest in the hotel to be. There is a spa center in the hotel where the possibility a staff fitness trainer gives. Furthermore there is a library in which you books and DVD's rent and free access to the internet. Even a hotel's own shop are.

Particularly suitable is the complex for those seeking tranquillity, couples and honeymooners!

We would highly recommend a few euros more $$ and a pool villa, with view to take extra timeconsuming, this definitely. Since the food in the hotel was very good but comes at a price, we sometimes late in the evening with a shuttle bus drove to Ubud, this is free of charge and will take about 30 minutes to Ubud normal traffic. There is a street that looked like the or the Walk of Fame, in Jl Kajeng 11 there is a restaurant called Bali yoga, ( high street, left) where we had for 2 pers. For 50,000 ... - 80,000 rup ate and drank, it was clean and the food was good. This is not a gourmet restaurant but as said was good and cheap. Be careful at the Hanging Garden breakfast just because everything else more than makes no sense in my eyes. read hotel review

Absolute dream hotel for those seeking peace guests. The private pool with a view of the opposite Temple is simple grand, although we chose the cheapest Zimmervariante! We had a sensational short trip to the hanging gardens with the finest gastronomy and lots of relaxation. The shuttle bus to take people every hour to Ubud and back. If it later, you can easily take a taxi. We highly recommend a spa treatment. Massage is very, very pleasantly, including birds and Bächerauschen. read hotel review

This is a truly outstanding hotel beautifully located and offers pure relaxation for individualists. Never before have we seen anything like. We were there 3 days of our honeymoon and we loved it. The villas are great, the views are magnificent and service is exemplary. There are panoramic-villas and Riverside villas. If you're a light sleeper you might not for a Riverside Villa because the river through the gorge leads, is quite noisey. Internet access in the library free of charge and someone who has been reat knock books, this the library donations. This is the following guests. For three ... days, for worked fine for us, as it really is an absolute relaxing hotel. The own hotel bus it 50mtr between the artist's village Ubud and the hotel, the journey takes about 30 minutes. Highly recommend to stroll through the market in Ubud. read hotel review

We were the second time at the hanging gardens. Some points have improved and other have not been changed: + rooms are beautiful! + The private pools are now finally Heatable ( that was necessary because the water was very cold outside). + Breakfast was very good with a nice variety. + Nice TV in the room, safe was ok. + The location is actually very nice. We're sorry, but it is difficult to dine out ( Ubud is about 20 minutes away). - Außenmöbel ( for example beach chairs) through the weather for T. Rather run down. - Restaurant ... is extremely expensive! Unfortunately hardly any other options as it is very isolated. - Minibar compared to other hotels in Bali also huge expensive. - Upgrade to a Panoramic View room hardly worth it. cost us only $30 more per night, but it was really only the view "better". Tips: go to walk all the way down to the river walk. There were an adventurous bridge and a walk through the jungle. have fun. read hotel review
