4 days city break, perfect location in a wonderful city; you can just only recommend if someone off the beaten track from Fischbüchsen -bath maintenance -beach, a really beautiful Italy to know learn would like;

we stayed over the weekend in Trieste and stayed in the hotel continental. The hotel lies in the middle in the center, the staff are nice, helpful and very friendly. Despite booking the hotel through an agency, could the room right from the hotel on a date because of ill be moved without a problem. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. But unfortunately not so clean: we had in the bathroom even the trash from the previous guest in the trash can-otherwise, everything was okay. The whole hotel was pleasantly air conditioned, the temperature in the room is ... self-correcting. Breakfast, in the summer at the hotel can enjoy free, is excellent. The location of the hotel is ideal: whether shopping or sightseeing-everything is within walking distance. Unfortunately the hotel does not have its own car park. There is however the possibility, the car in a parking garage delivered to you (price 21 euros with hol/and bring/service, or as we have done: in the blue zone with ticket parking. We would have liked to have a trip with the nostalgic train- but unfortunately has the time not long enough-but we will definitely go back there again! Perfect hotel is located in the pedestrian zone still very quiet. Good breakfast in the hotel's own cafe. Rooms partly with a mini balcony, very nice. Friendly staff, all in all, highly recommended. read more

The hotel lies relatively quiet in the pedestrian area from Triest. The bus station (final stop of the airport bus) it is about 20 minutes walk. The room decor was of high quality. The breakfast was good quality. read more

Great location right in the city center within walking distance of many major sights ( Grand Canal, Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, ... ) & Shopping restaurants & bars in walking distance parking service trip to Miramare is an absolute must, the drive to opicina ( with the streets/track transports) is an experience, had a great view over the city, to the terminus but you have to cancel the is absolutely spectacular read more

The small 4 star ( circa 50) is located in a pedestrian street in the center of it all. All attractions, the harbor, shopping, restaurants and bars are in the immediate area - nevertheless very quiet location. Room was spacious, very clean - just one balcony I missed. We have booked room with breakfast - for Italian terms the breakfast was amazing - breakfast buffet. Value for money is ok. read more

Positive: Classic Hotelopulenz, tasteful style decor, good bathroom, clean, nice front desk. Air conditioning. A central location in the pedestrian zone, d. H. Shops, restaurants, bars, Opera, museums, harbor, everything was only a few Gehmeter away. Decent breakfast. Negative: The parking - either valet parking for 25 euros/day or 12/Euro/day for parking passes after a long search wild dolphins. The supertechnische pay satellite TV flat screen plant in our room was slightly broken. Air conditioning/heating a bit too loud. We unfortunately had one of the youngest room, we found the rate we paid a bit too high. What else interested: ... The mattresses were very, very hard. The pedestrian zone and shopping are cheerful feiernder at night and apperitif trinkender full of young people. It's great as long as you dabeisteht and mittrinkt. But what can you sleep Sometime Conclusion: Nice hotel in a great location with small problems. A bit expensive. read more
