It is a fairly large hotel complex from various located buildings, located secluded from next village on a mountain, close to the wasserkuppe. The orientation in building there is complicated and partly illogical. In the elevator there is etagenangaben 10 to 14, although only 4 floors are available. In your room is a labyrinth of courses and you need two days to actually manage to find. In the reception greeted us first a übelriechende, noisy construction site. The penetrante smell of fuel oil or age tarboard suggested us. We had a sporting weekend transportation and half board for everyone. Actually ... should be a little wellness good, but we were almost the ausnahmepaar without young children. read more

    Our room was huge and spacious. A small kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, cutlery, kitchen table and chairs, telephone, sofa and armchairs, flat screen tv, everything available.     A super great, absolutely unbeatable budget families with small children-offer have given. In the large dining hall was a level of noise as in a crowded day nursery. The furnishing seemed very new and modern. Comfort looks differently and is certainly a matter of taste. Our it was not. The food itself was diverse, plentiful and very tasteful. The breakfast was great and could not be faulted. The neueindeckung of the tables was partly problematic, since lots of guests and not enough staff. The trainees were really hard, but the rush 'still' not cope. Even so the woman or the man, but it is not three stars standard. The five stars were only because of the quality of the dishes.

    The staff is otherwise friendly and accommodating. A room cleaning was on the three days not take place. Was probably for the apartments is not provided.     The attached indoor pool is very nice, clean and tidy with outdoor pool. Unfortunately the general obtained image in the bathroom fort. Relaxation in the screaming child noise was not to be thought.     The area is inviting for hiking in beautiful natural surroundings. But also trips in the immediate area like for instance Fulda are on offer. Without own car one is however really lost. The nightlife limited to a on saturday organized a man-chapels show or the 'ententanz' the kids' disco. For the families with small children surely great, but we felt out of place. Otherwise, you can get a cocktail or beer in the in the basement the bar. The older bar ladies were however already somewhat overstrained, if too much customers and an invoice to the room suddenly nearly impossible was. Cash was required, although these in the meantime not a problem was.

The hotel is beautiful located and offers in the winter also plenty of opportunity in the sledge to drive. From the outside the hotel makes with its many interconnected houses now definitely not much however our apartment was up on the bathroom renovated and comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel is very badly soundproofed (more in the room). Internet gives it unfortunately none and cell phone reception was at least in our part the hotel also bad. For children is a lot on offer and it is hardly bore on. Unpleasant i think, especially for the price families, the late arrivals. A ... guarantee for a beziehbares rooms gives it only starting from 5:00 p. m. Unfortunately i have this information only 2 days before the arrival by e-mail and you could not in the documents obtained find. Therefore we had to short term, the plan for the arrival still change. read more

    We had the apartment classic booked. Size and furnishing was good. However, the walls in the room very thin and the room was the living room separated from a window. I had extra the apartment with separate room so that my wife and i evening in the living room talk to us or can watch tv. Both was because of the thin walls not possible. The room was renovated but the doors were probably still the old and seemed therefore a bit in the wrong place. The bathroom much unfortunately in comparison to the remaining rooms also something from.

    We had the family hit with half board booked. Breakfast was super and had actually everything that you ask for. Dinner was also ok especially the desserts were delicious. Is open at 18:00 o'clock, in terms of small children to bed early go would be a previous closing desirable. For children there is also a private court.     We have his adventure land and the swimming pool used. Both our daughter a lot of fun. At the pool it was a but leaving the large pool quite fast cold.     We had a family room booked. The size was alright. The room was halfway decorated up to date. The kitchen was good. Everything important to cook we knew. The bathroom was a catastrophe... Very probably from the early 80. years. The tiles, bathtub, grout, etc.. Include definitely time renovated. So in the bathroom one doesn't feel probably... The rest was okay.

    We had breakfast and dinner excellent. The theme repeated probably weekly and are on the hotel's website listed (bavarian, rustic, seasonally, 2 times mediterranean, culinary journey around the world, asian). There was a wide selection of food. Also for me it was most critical evening the Euro-asia buffet let me face of european share well be full. Salad buffet there were always, 3 desserts, ice cream, soup, 3 warm dishes (2 times meat, 1 fish) with side dishes, and a children's meal (for example depending on themenbabend pizza or nuremberg with mashed potatoes). Except for the above-mentioned asian night i found the main courses delicious. The hotel was the buffet rich: meats, various brotwaren, jams, various joghurs /cereals/cereal. Fresh fruits, gek. , scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausages, various juices. We could well prepared to start the day. Very nice i found the long meal times 3a 4 hours, it ran saich therefore usually. Fed could from the buffet both in the rhöninsel, as well as in the rother fireplace, whereby i families with children first would recommend. You can buffets for individual days before place, believe in the morning around 13 to 14 Euro, in the evening around 21 to 24 Euro à la carte is, is however no wide choice, as i would only kuchenzeit or pizza recommend, for everything else in other local duck. But i would definitely again buffet book, especially with three children it was great. Our baby we could so alternately feed during the other itself at the buffet servicing. The price of drinks were normal.

    Upon arrival we were informed in detail. Daily cleaning of the rooms one can book or not, we had not. But the anreisezustand of the room was good except for dirty burners, i but also not approved, since we booked the room. The entertainment for kids offers various offers from crafts on sport to small family walks. Age group 4-11 and 7-11. for the smaller until 7 there was a kindergarten, which we didn't make use of.     Kids disco at night was 19 ur, managed we never all together now to go, because adults with baby not to eat enough. 19:30 would be better. So our kids alone, which was a shame. Beautiful, well-kept bathroom and sauna. Everything was well maintained. On small room maximum fun and relaxation. Child animation was in sections to 1-2 hours loosely offered, our kids liked Björn and jule, thanks for the beautiful hour! An ideal place for a family vacation, regardless of the weather. The hotel is clean, the staff very child friendly. The indoorpark nearby is ideal in bad weather. During our stay there was a büfettwoche. The choice was diverse and the food very good. A schlittenhügel for children was right on the hotel. A hotel highly recommended especially with kids, the offer is only designed. For singles and couples without children not very recommendable. As mentioned the offers only for the kids, that began with the catering. With the half-board got only the children a drink for dinner. For adults there was not even a smples water. The food is good though and varied, whether it was breakfast or dinner. Whether the relevant hunger bring along for the extra cost of about 33 Euro per person the half board profitable make everyone should know. Otherwise costs so much extra. Bathrobe, sauna were also ... in the complete offer not for everyone. Pool already?!? Leisure facilities in the evening in the hotel as well as, Bowling, billiards, darts etc. All want to with coins be plugged before they work. The service in the hotel is excellent, it remains no question unanswered, the staff is very friendly and helpful. In short, everything has its price. read more

We were before 3 years in this hotel and at that time were both the service, and the food better than this time (probably the owners changed). The despite we had a beautiful short holiday here. It is really much entertainment for big, as well as for small (for children of all ages). The staff seemed a bit stressed and impersonal, but for a completely fully booked hotel it is human. The rooms are spacious. We had a 2-room family apartment. However, there were no refresh service, but we knew that beforehand, the belonged to the offer 'family hit'. The ... swimming pool and of the sauna-area for the fully booked out hotel definitely too small and the water at the pool we found (and also other guests) was a bit too cold. read more

After years weren't in the hotel, we did it once again try it. The result: total disappointment. The hotel was (good for the owner) is very good. Unfortunately it came but to impossible situations. In rhöninsel restaurant were in the afternoon two forces, neither in the location were the tables quickly to clean and clear away, in the location were a 2 time to get to the table for any 2. order. We have a waitress for a repeat order directly address and in the 3. demand, she wasn't able, the order correctly to give. In the other restaurants came ... to the evening times to partly chaos. Tables of guests for 7:30 p. m. were reserved, were at 18:00 o'clock not with other guests manned. You got the answer in 20 minutes again to try. On the instruction my son, there was a vacant table: ok, if you agree with, you can relax there are. The restaurant manager, as well as the director were with the rush totally overwhelmed. The children have soft drinks for the food free. Due to above cited situation, a waiter a 2. to the table, we ordered a large soft drinks (0.4 liter) this should we pay however, since only 0.2 liter free, but without limitation. There are handbändchen to carry, it was on duration is very unpleasant. We almost every year for a few days. In the meantime there will always be difficult the necessary food to. The ' rhöninsel' like us at all, it has the charm a company cafeteria. Feeding pur! For us, the buffets decline, there was hardly a alternative. I erninnere me at times, when we in the ' red fireplace' excellent meals à la carte. All over! Also in the quality of the pool was just a small offer available, particularly serious, comprehensive food. The garden of paradise is missing with small food (aluminum wrapped potatoes, stew, etc.) For in between. ... In the meantime soft for us meal times on the area from. We were with our 3 children (6,3,1/2) in the hotel. Outside of the holidays it was a very nice atmosphere, no matter wether in the swimming pool or in the restaurant. Our 3 in of the child care or the crafts felt very comfortable. Again many thanks to Elke, jule and Björn. The food was very varied and tasty in the evening. Lunch had the children lunch at the buffet with us. Also there always found something. Highly recommend is the homemade pizza. Delicious. The 2 room apartment was clean and beautiful spacious. For us it is clear ... we would gladly come again. read more

Hotel is okay! Dining has deteriorated! A year ago you could cheap in the hotel breakfast, the does not exist more! We ate out in a café breakfast, for a fraction of of the price. And full we nevertheless became! read more

We were already with and without children in rhönpark and the hotel also been better. After our 3. visit (without children) we are now but really disappointed. Unfortunately. Our main criticism: 1. that you at check in now, depending on the booked arrangement, a colored plaktikbändchen umfesselt got, is simply unpleasant, just for saunaaufenthalte at night and disturbs it anyway. It has the flair of an under-to mittleklassigenklassigen all-inclusive clubs. But well, so that you can live with. 2. the 2. disappointment: the best restaurants, the 'red fire' was close! It is probably only still open, if it shows is. ... For wellness arrangement guests this is a serious loss, we had explicitly happy, up there in the evening to eat well maintained. 3. the former self-service restaurant is now extended (to 300 places!) And modernized, but incredibly busy and not very comfortable. This may be the alternative offered frankenstube, we have withdrawn, but not at all catch. There was missing it in the quality of the pool at all meals really permanently at cutlery, plates, suppenschalen. Nothing is set, no table cloths, no salt and pepper shakers, even the cheap paper servietes (or coffee for breakfast) you had to yourself. For breakfast are packaged kondensmilchsdöschen with packaged salt and pfefferbeutelchen (for dosing a catastrophe) simply into a soup and on the tables provided. This is possibly in canteens reasonable, but it cannot be the serious a reasonably competent hotel management are. The few service staff (for beverages in the evening) was apologetic friendly, seemed but also even annoyed by the (new) situation 'you can gladly times top deploy', we heard often, what we do. 4. the quality of the dishes the evening buffet we were also disappointed. A 'italian night' without mozzarella, pizza and tiramisu, but with cauliflower (as at between evening). The desserts were on both evenings mostly-touched moderate delicious creams. No cheese, no fruit, no ice (at least not in the quality of the pool). Also from 20:30 not more yours, although official until 21 o'clock the buffet is supposed to be. The everything was not much better, a shame. 5. next sad loss as mentioned, as we have been guests were, we were used to it, before breakfast swimming to go, then stood but before closed hall there bathroom. First from 9 o'clock. This is for a (u. a.) wellnesshotel weak and a big disappointment. We find this emtwicklung really unfortunate, since the Rhön Park always on the heart and is, otherwise we would also not so detailed review. We believe, that the hotel with this course wellness package guests will lose. Anyhow us. It puts completely obvious rather to the favorable family holiday-rail. But, there were also families, despite the children during dinner a tablecloth and napkins easy to find. And if the hotelier in this portal writes (where we basically great find, that the hotelier to response), that you 'consciously without tablecloths work, so that the great furniture better able to see, as it already trend is in many 5-star restaurants' (correspondent cited) then this is a real laugh. Laugh, we had to also, when we at the buffet a large senfspender found, on the hand was written: sempf. No joke. The frankish? Or even a trend in 5-star restaurant? But basically actually simply only embarrassing. This is surely a good restaurant manager (or similar) Crumb. Nothing for bad, we had nevertheless relaxing days and close not categorically from with the children once again come. The room was as always top, large flaschbild tv, clean, simply good. The sauna area is still good, as pearls even the anzüglichen jokes of aufgussmeisters now. Also the small einkaufslädchen has everything, what you need. As child hotel i would Rhön Park still-limited/recommend, as a wellness hotel for couples currently clearly not. This is why basically a red face. We had booked a 'spar with' -online portal, all our criticisms are but whatever. read more

We were from 23,12.-27.12. '12 guests at the rph. Our (renovated ) room was nicely furnished with mini kitchen, small lcd tv (32') telephone and an extra bed. The bathroom was already somewhat older however all in all okay and clean. My bewertungstitel refers to the endless seeming corridors, stairs and elevators to 'overcome' applies to you in the main building arrives. For us it was about 7 minutes on foot. But everything is well signposted and after a tour, you also almost internalized. The food in the main restaurant was the quality and selection of the ... good (i wonder what most people home auftafeln if here on the selection visted is). The staff were very helpful and also in peak times friendly and fast. For families with children is here also in case of bad weather for variety (kids indoor playground, pool and other activities) i can't understand why you as (pensioners) couple in a family resort drives itself and over the noise weighted. ( these contemporaries were certainly never children). So we really enjoyed it and we would love to go in Rhön travel. read more

Wonderful family hotel with good value for money. One has thanks to his adventure country and the great indoor pool, also in case of bad weather, enough alternative. The nearby located inns rohter knoll and thüringenhütte are very recommendable. We have a beautiful week for new year's spend. Particularly positive the fireworks much. read more

Nice quiet family hotel in beautiful surroundings. However very big and spacious. The houses are like dominoes together and therefore depending on where the room is a long way to the main building. Through several elevators and winding halls one comes to its goal (which is a bit annoying, but you can overlook that-there has one its small walk ☺...) Who on anonymity value, is right at home here. The hotel is clean but the hallways a little in need of renovation. We booked half board and were totally satisfied. read more

    The size the apartment was perfectly adequate. The entrance area is quasi the living room with very small kitchenette (consisting of sink, refrigerator, two hotplates, coffee machine and kettle. In the middle is a round table with four chairs. The living room consisted of a funktionssofa (the really comfortable), a sideboard and a flat-screen tv. Then there was a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe (could a bit more decoration stood-is a little bare... But you're not so often in the room). The bathroom is functional but no more on the newest conditions. From the living room and bedroom is the big balcony manageable. The cleanliness was spotless!

    So we found it really great, very delicious! At this point times a praise to the kitchen staff - you do a great job - Was great it is nice that a kids buffet was. The food was varied, as every evening a theme buffet returns. Who finds there nothing it is your own fault. For cleanliness and hygiene taken care of. Nor big praise to the service staff in the main dining room. Also through large crush of the guests no bustle and no long waiting periods with the drinks. They were efficient bees, in spite of the christmas.

    The staff was very friendly and courteous. Also überraschungsaktionen is nothing in the way... Thank you very much again for this! ( birthday surprise) Over the child care i cannot say anything, because we didn't notice. There the children so employment and lots of fun had (they wanted not any more go home)

    There is a children's playroom right at the hotel. The Rudi's adventure country (indoor playground) is on the grounds of the hotel and the complex is right at the hotel. This very beautifully designed is. Mornings Rudi's-afternoon go swimming! To summarize good and well maintained condition. Only drawback: when Rudi's adventure land - there must be no food and drinks with be... (we know that also differently)... - completely overpriced price for beverages! - food tasted not really (kindertest-durchgefallen) So unfortunately not recommendable to eat there. But the playing equipments are in good condition and made our three children much friend! The staff was also very friendly! Admission fees for the hotel guests in acceptable.

We still have before christmas on a longer drive a stopover in Rhön Park Hotel and were from the hotel very impressed. We were able to establish a very big complex find, the probably a traumparadies for children should be (adults up 90 kilogram \u263a with the toys). But also the fully grown will not too short! Great and extensive leisure facilities with sports from which i had not heard, like for instance ice climbing or mountain bike through the snow. The scenery is nice and it invites for hiking a. Afterwards we enjoyed the new thermal baths-world relaxed and ... sauna retreat. Everything new and clean! Both the evening -, as well as the breakfast buffet we liked. It tasted very, very good and the selection was good. No matter or spa, relaxation or action- in our opinion all the experience, what he wants. read more
