We have been the 2. time there. We are definitely coming again.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are really spacious, the bathroom/toilet rather small. The sauna/steam bath in the hotel renovated and sufficient for the normal demand from. The limes thermal bath approximately 500 meters further offers here an extensive possibility and for us was the actual reason our stay. The outdoor pool (19 degrees cold) is ideal for a dive after the sauna.
Breakfast is very plentiful and diverse.
In the village there are only small shops for purchase, next larger city Neustadt at the ... Donau (2 kilometer away).
Bad gögging is all recommendable the a quiet, relaxing and natural environment to appreciate. read more

Decrease in the catering trade only therefore, because the beer always bad poured was.
If i prefer a 0.5 liter order and pay for it, so i want no 0.45 liter get served.

Much air upward!
Already the check in was very briefly and scarcely held, for me personally not a real welcome. We had, the so-called superior -room. The size and layout of the room we found really good. However it was in the room freezing cold when we arrived and it took felt 8 hours, for it to get warm. Besides was charged in the room a were an unidentifiable mash odor.
The bathroom was pleasant, albeit with very little loungers equipped, the signs of the wellness area, as well as of the entire hotel was very poor, since the hotel ... altogether 's architecture very big and confusing is.
As dinner we had booked half board, which in buffet form was offered. For us it was a vorreservierter table available, the we were led. The menu for the buffet sound very appealing. But with the election of the mineral water went already starts. I would like a water 'medium' dialed. It was briefly and concisely communicated it gives only with and without. Then on the buffet. The cold food (appetizers) tasted really good. But then the warm dishes. The 1st course i chose dumplings and vegetables as a side dish. Both were me unfortunately not possible to eat. The dumplings have at least 2 hours in the bain-marie spent and were with this-damp, the vegetables was tasteless and cold.
The 2. attempt was also not better, fish and boiled potatoes. The fish overcooked, tasteless and the potatoes had already very many dried out places. With the clearing of the plates worked not, so we just in the neighboring table before us. It was not asked how the food tasty, well you could see it! The dessert area could really very tasteful seen. The dinner on the 2. day was no better. The breakfast buffet was really reasonable. However came here the drawback. After about 20 minutes waiting time was still no one from the service as to ask, if we coffee want, these have we then itself in/out privileges.
So our summary, impossible for a 4 star hotel.
Our complaints at check out was taken note of, but then quite simply with a 'i will managers forward' dismissed. read more

We booked through travelzoo a package for 2 nights included half-board and 25 minutes massage and around 1 night extended.
The staff was polite and friendly, the food was okay.
Our double room superior was pleasantly large, the furniture has its best times behind itself.
Since the travelzoo offer a 'wellness' -offer was, we are with the idea a relaxing wellness holiday in the on the homepage large advertised spa to spend arrived.
This idea was sorely disappointed.
The hotel has a steam bath, and 1 (!) Sauna with capacity for up to 10 people, not even with a classic ... aufgussofen equipped! The ' relaxation room ' consists of 5 (!) Beach chairs, the right in the open sauna and bellhops, without each demarcation or claim on peace. More about 25 are located in the adjacent indoor pool area available, in the light of schwimmbadatmosphäre no undisturbed rest or similar permit.
The saunabereichbereich is newly decorated, but neither timely renovated (carpets) for such a big hotel (according to the information of the waiter about 300 guests in the house) enough.
We have stayed in much smaller and not so aggressively advertiser hotels wellnessbereiche experienced, the monarch to worlds are superior.
We are no wellness short vacation anymore. read more

We were there for only one night the monarch. But what we saw, it is a very well maintained hotel. The only downside is, that we with our daughter (20 months old) in the limes therme not allowed. Children only from the age of 3 years of admission allowed. read more

We stayed at the december a small wellnessurlaub of 2 nights in the hotel the monarch and were totally thrilled! We got a free upgrade to a deluxe room, which really very big are! Also the bathroom is huge! Short note would be only; there is no mini bar and it is a completely non-smoking hotel.
The conference area is brand new, and very spacious. The premises also apparently very gladly used to celebrate private and family! The wellness area is definitely not huge, but perfectly adequate! The bathroom, as well as of the sauna area were always very tidy ... and clean. Only note; water dispenser or service in the wellness area is missing. So before remember water with increase \u263a

So a 4 star hotel, it is definitely not! The room was worn, wallpaper went from, in the bathroom there was mold and the tile grouting were torn. Not anymore. The pictures on the walls with the furniture not harmonized, there were also no plants. To the greetings there was only water and it has been pointed out, that you more drinks pay must. Really welcome did not. Also the parking for selbstanreiser is disastrous. Either you have to in the underground garage pay or you have to some meters far drive, a parking to find. In the lobby you ... can nice coffee and etc. Drink, but either run the guests constantly past or one smells at the rear of the chlorine of the pool. \u263a to eat: the breakfast we found it great, but unfortunately belongs to for me to the standard also fruits and natural yoghurt (because everyone eats yes not always sweet fruit yogurt). The dinner was carelessly and for a 4 star hotel not rich and greasy (does not fit in the spa). Since we had already had better buffets seen, the rather under 4-star. For Cappuccino or other wishes you had to pay extra. Also were the descriptions unclear or not at all available. Also on the menu not on flavour or the like. The staff were very speedy. We had the impression, that the hotel in the past some uprooted. On the weekend there, for a congress-hotel very unusual. The dinner in the restaurant from the buffet was very good! Freshly prepared and tastefully presented.
Unfortunately not hot, but ... this is often, if court kept warm to.
Sauna was small but sweet! Strange is, that you are practically in front of the hotel is, if you want to dampen the free is.
Conclusion: the breakfast was rather poor, dinner is very good, room was great, bathroom was great, everything was perfectly clean; unfortunately no mini bar, staff is friendly and helpful, sauna good, but without sichtschutz in the open. read more

We have the weekend -stay (Ü/fr) on Groupon and we had a very good value for money. There are currently well known damage because of the rebuilding, but during the weekend -stay within limits. Merely the two in our package contained bathrooms (rose petals and hopfenblüten -) could because of the rebuilding in the spa not be offered. But we were given as compensation a massage, what also okay was good. The room on the 5th floor was very spacious, attractive furnished, with a balcony and view of the outdoor swimming pool. Merely a fridge we missed. The bathroom with ... a shower and bathtub was very spacious and clean. A bit annoying was the leak of the shower stall, the always a vollüberschwemmung of the bathroom led, but thanks to a large towel-supply limited could be. The corresponding complaint was at the front desk friendly manner, the parking of lack of we however ( perhaps because of only 2-day stay) not even heard.
The environment of the hotel is very scenic, but kurmäßig, thus rather calmly. Recommendable is a trip after abensberg to the hundertwasser-tower.
On the whole a right relaxing stay, although currently with relevant restrictions may apply due to the rebuilding. Look forward to the hotel in the new gloss. read more

I wanted wellness in the hotel make. Because of of construction I could no sauna and swimming pool use, I asked for, whether it will price reduction is. There was nothing also as a written complaint wrote, has I explained that I it not understand and not understand can. I think it is a rip-off the full price to call for the guests can't make use of everything. I was with my husband on 'travelzoo' guests in the hotel the Monarch. The lady at the reception was nothing special friendly and, on the question of a certain room requirement also a bit 'sticky'. Our room was very nice, so definitely the 'deluxe' -category book! The dinner in our experience truthfully, not tasty. The meat was very greasy and not enjoyable. The wellness-and sauna area is for the number of guests ( as already mentioned several times ) way too small and should urgently expanded and renewed. The massages whereas were a dream. Strong praise! Because we have 'travelzoo' ... had booked, was our wellness weekend great, since that value for money voted - however if we this hotel regular had booked, I would have with this service not satisfied.
If we return to bag gögging again, we will in the hotel again Marc Aurel and spa,

My husband and I were beginning September for 5 nights at the monarch hotel. The entrance is purple.
The warm woods with gold mixed, very plush. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The Early
Piece, as well as the dinner were always totally delicious and offers a rich selection. The rooms are very nice and large., however the wellness area is a dream. Inside a pool and outside a large pool with many loungers. Here you can nice relaxation. Also the bar is excellent. She offers also live music at., but unfortunately only three in a row following evenings. ... We are unfortunately the last of those evenings angereißt. In any case we will come back to this hotel, and just dream. read more
