My wife and i ( 55 and 4-years-old) have a week, from 04,01. – 11.01. 2013, in not Palace Hotel spent.
Our first impression at the front desk: spanish cool, slightly arrogant and nothing special warm/friendly, but dominant!
The first room had the name, bedroom' deserved. It fit exactly one double bed and one could straight around go. The tiny window (embrasure) was ideal, around the hotel to the main street to defend. Air there was not, but plenty of exhaust gases.
We changed for an additional fee of €25/day the standard - room against one with more ... space and view of the sea ( beautiful and spacious).
Afterwards we wanted at 9 o'clock 30 in the hotel breakfast. The was in our rate on this day not included, but (o-tone front desk) at the moment for offer. Instead of €23 now only €16/per person. And we found that to put it mildly pointless exaggerated. Well, we have no sparkling wine for breakfast drunk.
In the reviews i have read, that someone wrote, the hotel would be ageing.
Is true! It is from 1957-from a young and beautiful spaniard was later a blackfaced lady riper age and now helps even bothox not more, to see the real age to mention!
Yes, everything was very clean and well-kept, the rooms were perfect every day made, the service- staff were reasonably friendly, the breakfast was every day right, but also ( except for the cold fried eggs and cold bacon) just as good.
If you looked, you saw the tooth the time to many details gnaw. In the bathroom had no part more the original chromglanz. It was however good chromed-only now comes the brass and kupferschicht to the daylight. This is probably also the many cleaning and polishing the chambermaid in the last decades.
That tiles after half renovation works different colors have, disturbs really only optically.
Five star has the photographer deserves, the hotel pool ( a train and you are) or the spa area so, riesengroß' xeroxed-compliment, envy and recognition in my opinion.
Children under 14 in the spa area no entry. Controlled however none and so is the wild water fight schreiender children in the pampas-old no obstacle set. Twice we were so distributed and no has interested.
Advantage the water had 37 degrees body temperature.
The place offers absolutely no highlight. Beware of the China- restaurant. Too bad we never eaten.
Apart from that, the hotel is while we were there very quiet %blank%. Was disturbing however the designated dog ( kack - ) beach before our hotel. Some spanish with a lot of free time seem great to find, if their hybrids constantly bark and sand sch. And pointless at the beach under the eyes the owner multiply.
P. s. we are no children- or hundehasser. We have three children and had four dogs! read more

Also during the 4. stay, was everything again super. Were the x-mas shopping in Palma, but extra no city hotel selected, because, not palace with the taxi only approximately 8 minutes out from Palma City is. We wanted to again the wonderful view of the sea enjoy. As always was the staff very friendly, particularly the front desk, there are all always so helpful and super nice. For all shopping - Queens - x-mas shopping in Palma is really nice, it is not as crowded as with us in the large cities... And Palma has a lot to offer. read more

The hotel is located somewhat away from Palma in cala major. Directly at the beach, beautiful view of the bay. Sandy beach on the doorstep. read more

Great hotel, wonderful location in the bay, right at the beautiful beach, public. Bus connection from the hotel to Palma-center every 10 minutes, the hotel is not cheap, but its price definitely worth. read more

The bathroom was marble, very stained (brown) and eroded joints was covered. Sauna was the whole week because of defective closed, the pool floor should urgently to be cleaned. BD nozzle not adjustable ( festgerostet ) no air ventilation or window in the bathroom! Beds blamed apart, unfortunately a disappointment for a five-star hotel. read more

From the outside very nice, from the lakeside from seen, for more somewhat older public, with nice spaces and a great lake view with spacious balcony/patio area.
Breakfast good with small absurdities, which seemed to be the british public are due.

Super location, directly at the beach, view is great. Hotel very well maintained, staff nice and attentive. Breakfast on the terrace drives is a dream, buffet plentiful and very good taste.
Had a superior room booked and a suite had gotten! Everything renovated, luxuriously furnished and decorated in a modern style, it wasn't missing anything. Gladly come again, felt great relaxed and felt really good! read more

We have a wonderful vacation experienced. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and so we have the very good service enjoyed and felt really good.
Who secluded from Hustle and bustle of the day and especially the sunset on a terrace with a view of the sea and the sound of the waves would like to experience, there is in good hands! read more

Had an apartment in a dreamlike location get, although only room booked! Until then so, everything great. Unfortunately was this in almost every room with mold decorated (possibly location under pool?) ice cold water under the shower, no reaction to complaint, warm water came on the next day to 15 minutes let it run, no toilet brush and cleaning in the bath very inaccurate. In the fitness room is hygiene also not capitalized, there is no precaution for the cardio equipment. Breakfast is also not worth 5 stars, scrambled egg is better, there was überreifes fruit or canned fruit. Also ... the service during dinner were very neglectful, so that drinks only after several guests arrived. This hotel has absolutely 5 stars, for its first-class terrace and this wonderful view, as well as the direct location to the great beach and the proximity to Palma! Apart from that we can at best 4 stars and hope that it for each guest is. read more

For the geplanen excursions to Palma the hotel was not Palace, once again, the ideal starting point.
Staff: friendly and helpful

Hotel very good location, beach not really clean... But good.
Staff are very friendly, for us was the evenings-food (19:30) too late and a little 'boring'
above all dessert.
fitness room and spa quite small, was not of the description in the internet.
We had nevertheless a pleasant stay and a great vacation.

Very clean and good hotel! Suitable as a starting point for golf. The place itself is a typical Touristenbadeort, but it's not far to Palma with great restaurants and possibilities for going out. read more

Had superior room-huge big balcony, simply super.

We had overnight stay with breakfast in the double room. Locally we received the possibility for 20 euros ever night a room with a view of the sea to receive. We adopted, as the normal double room facing the land side are aligned and no balcony have. The hotel was a few years, except for the bathrooms completely renovated and is therefore in very good condition. read more

Location of the hotel: at a very busy main street location, quite noisy
rooms: was balcony booked, only a small room with small window getting a view of a wall; complaint not recognized, had to 300 euros pay extra, but in the other room would you received, although the hotel to 2/3 empty.
spa: a few beach chairs, a really small pool, only steam bath and jacuzzi, unfortunately often broken
staff: unfriendly
food with the half-board: Essenseinnahme in back part of the entrance area, dark and gloomy and noisy through from and alterations of the previous sittings
food: from 14 ... days the food at least 12 times reasonable, Steak was never as ordered and mostly freezing, never in the ordered form, with return it happened burned back, as well as the fish, the side dishes potatoes and vegetables were mostly anyway freezing, pizza came on a bekleckerten plates, where a part of that darned was and eat the sticky things did not
Asked, whether it tasted good was also never. With the order had from the beginning the dessert be booked, in later order arrived mostly nothing.
the hotel lives only and alone by its view-if one got the right room, and the view is really dreamlike, the traffic connections to Palma is of course perfect -but the rest.
i do not know, where the 5 stars come from, has been in the five star hotel royal Dorint, Norbert against (if there is such a thing would give) 8 stars- in short: never again read more

A good hotel where the cool season and if one much to Palma wants. Real 5 stars.
What not so great is the direct the area was a bit dirty as if the Adlon in Berlin wedding would lie. Parking are no from the hotel and in the area very rare. The view is fantastic the beach directly in front of the hotel was also nice. The Wi-Fi is also in the room good reception. The dining room with the large breakfast buffet
Was very pleasant. Indoor pool and fitness available but a bit small. read more
