The room was very well equipped with all you would expect from a modern business hotel. Although the Hotel is situated between a busy station and a busy high-street the sound proofing is perfect. Not a whisper to be heard inside. read more

I was possitively suprised that they had an iHome docking station for iPhones/iPads in the room. Also the little details that there was a console for both continental and US electric plugs. Very convenient. Cleanliness impeccable. Beds very comfortable. We were upgraded free of charge to a larger room, which I would describe as almost ball-room size. Very nice.

Good quality breakfast buffet with large variety. Enough seeting capacity so that you shouldn't expect waiting time.

Friendly and helpfull. The receptionist offered access cards to the gym at check in before we could even ask.

The room was very well equipped with TV and iPod docking station of high quality. I deduct two stars though since you get a voucher for only one hour of internet in the room (unlimited in the lobby though). The WIFI connection was however stable and reasonably fast in that duration, but ought to be included for the whole stay in a hotel of this class.

One of the most convenient locations in London with direct access to Paddington station from the lobby. So you can get to may local & national trains, the tube and the Heathrow Express without getting wet. Plenty of taxis and bus lines right outside the door.

From the Heathrow airport one drives 15 minutes with the express to the train station Paddington and is there in 2 minutes in the hotel - which in the historical buildings is housed. The hotel has much atmosphere of the former great western railway hotel - even if Hilton this a well-functioning and modern hotel made. The hotel includes restaurant, lobby bar and a bar-club. The executive lounge is very pleasant and provides great view of the bar areas were inferior. Good service in the business center like in the entire hotel. The executive -rooms are -for London - unfamiliar ... size and well equipped. From the flatscreen tv on the safe to the huge bathroom with separate shower cubicle offers everything you peace and quiet in a hotel room should have. The very good connections to the tube and the bus system from Paddington the hotel makes perfect for a city trip. read more

The check-in was without any problems and were very friendly, we have not experienced in London, and this was already our 8. Stay. The cleanliness was very good, we had Hilton breakfast included. Guests were mainly business services such as bankers, between 40 and 50 years old. read more

When we entered our hotel room, we were amazed. The standard room was extremely spacious, with a king size bed, large closet with safe, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, cookies, countless teas and coffees. We had a flat screen TV, table with 2 chairs, stand for the bags and an extra chest of drawers. We had bath/toilet, there was always easy hot water with showing water pressure, we had never in London.

The breakfast buffet is awesome! Whoever didn't find something here, really couldn't be helped. There was English breakfast with beans in tomato sauce, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, sausages, etc. In addition to countless sorts of cereal, 2 sorts of bread, toast, small bread rolls and Danish sweets. salads, cold meats, fresh fruit, dried fruits, salmon, various juices, coffee in all variations and hot chocolate or milk. Cheese, quark and yoghurt was also there, and approximately 6 different kinds of jam, butter, margarine and honey. The waiters were very attentive service with refilling coffee and juice.

The Great Western Railway hotel, a few years in the Hilton Paddington rebuilt. The hotel includes almost the whole buildings from Paddington station. The trains are but this terminal station on some distance to the hotel. The hotel was extensively refurbished, but you feel to be a little old time of large Bahnhofshotels reminds. In and around the train station there is many shopping possibilities for everyday use. In the lobby, the full occupation over 300 rooms a bit tight. read more

Our room was on the 6th Floor, each contain very large roof terrace with great views over London. The rooms were decorated with all to Hilton standard and for London with 40 sqm big. Regular rooms but also were around 25-30 square meters (226 square feet). The curtains and all lighting could be served by central controls. The coffee maker with real filter coffee with cookies. The with rattan lounge chairs and armchairs furnished balcony could be very romantic at night lit. The very large bathroom with toilet, bath and large walk-in shower with rain showers. Very large and fluffy bathrobes and slippers, which also fit for tall persons.

A bar and restaurant are open on the side the hotel hall. Sometimes the shop for breakfast seemed a bit did full. For guests on the executive rooms and suites on the stylish lounge with views of the platforms from Paddington. The breakfast buffet was offered here very extensive and good. During the day there were all soft drinks, free coffee and pastries. From 18 hours were warm appetizers and alcoholic drinks (wine, beer, liqueurs, drinks) without payment. Very friendly staff in the lounge. A further bar is the casino side of hotel

Right at Paddington the location is excellent: 4 subway lines, Heathrow Express will take off right in front of the hotel. To the central line subway at Lancaster Gate to Hyde Park or it's about 6 minutes. The Heathrow Express train runs in 15 minutes to the airport. Area information in the evening also seemed busy and safe.

We travel to London every year and look for a hotel near Paddington station and therefore some can compare). The hotel is directly accessible from the train station and absolutely central, for example, if you the Heathrow Express ( with the tube 1x change). Close to many restaurants and pubs, Hyde Park 2 minutes away, Queensway 10 minutes and not much farther then Notting Hill. Room & bathroom were spacious, clean and in good condition - not always done in 4 stars London. Important that the window tight Lockable was ( also a big fault many hotels), so that the ... noise could stay out - it is a railway hotel. Only minus was the unfriendly staff, but due to the short stay (2 nights) only a marginal. The hotel can be clearly recommended - if the price is right. read more
