1 Stiunde via ferry from Singapore away. Transfer to the hotel unproblematic, as with every Schiffsankunft a bus is available. The hotel lies secluded in the jungle. Altogether big hotel, in several hotels is divided into.
Room: sufficiently furnished and normal size.
For a short vacation for relaxing to 4 days suitable, apart from that too few offered. In the hotel there are shops, the necessary coverage. Apart from that, the hotel is, like the name says, in Nirvana.
Breakfast was all right, but sometimes overcrowded dining room.
The restaurants are in relation to the performance expensive. However the rooms ... have all A kettle;-)
The beach and the pool are nice and well-kept.

We had a double room with a bed for the adults daughter booked. On arrival the room was not drilled. After complaint they promised us remedy, but then didn't work.
According to the information on the internet we had a better room booked, on the ground, denied. With our complaints we were from the hotel manager even rude smiled. We felt not taken serious and had still a day fight, so that we got, what we had booked. Later became us then also concerning the price offered.
The service is not good, on the menu is supposedly old prices, we ... should then pay more, because the prices supposedly increased are. We had the feeling, that we 4 days only had to complain about. To the hotel we drive never again. read more

We visited Singapore and then bintan. Bintan scored because of its countryside tidy, had but also a few Drawbacks, the mean 'comment' are. First and foremost is all in SGD credited (if you just pick US dollar, is the somewhat annoying, because the are not accepted). The earliest large Erwachung then, if you want something to eat( we had only breakfast, so the latest silent evenings about us). The prices for a normal food (no culinary specialties) explode from all seams. If you attempted in a restaurant to eat and drink (two dishes and two non-alcoholic drinks) with at least ... 80.00 SGD relaxed there. If you are not aware, one gets a massive terror. Furthermore for every service, the expectation the government would require a fee. As I always love to write postcards (around 25 piece on vacation), I wanted at the front desk Buy stamps. We were told, each Postcard also a service fee is required and were then per Postcard 2.3 SGD (to comparison: in Singapore we stayed for 5 postcards paid 2.4 SGD.). We have the postcards on airport sent in Singapore, because we price a little too high. On the whole the hotel area was very well maintained and you can this is good. However (the beach on the pictures appears) in the beach there were also some extremely sad news. Unfortunately the island at the moment with black Oil to fight. Really only 4-5 days even rich in Nirvana resort (the cost for Indonesia only 10.00 SGD per person rather than 25.00 SGD). At the most ideal it would be if you submit its journey in such a way, that you at least 4 days in Singapore available has (it is really lots to discover) and then again for 4 days relaxation after bintan drives. We stayed 8 days Christmas there. The sky was nearly always black and it has consistently burst and from time to time raining. We also the white beach and palm trees but somehow different. The atmosphere is other than in the sunshine. The complex with all the other restaurants is really very large and pretty good. In neighboring facilities but here and there spooky appeared. Because nobody was there and everything seemed a little weathered appeared. A bit you felt like Robinson Crusoe.

Was had a week's swimming vacation on bintan and a week Singapore booked.
The hotel complex is beautifully designed - unfortunately not everywhere barrier-free. The room was clean. The cleaning was not daily. It was the most necessary cleaned. The bathroom was clean. The windows can not be opened since you otherwise because of the mosquitos no quiet night would have. (unmmittelbare proximity to jungle) autan definitely recommendable! Take tiger balm or fenistilgel antipruritic with. Very well against itching and swelling, tiger balm welltried. Book no room with garden view. The pond in the garden is beautiful, but the frogs ... very loud. The change of towels, as well as the cleaning was not daily. The restaurant offers food national and international. The food was tasty. Recommendable is the japanese restaurant. With the order you should waiter get to help. By bus one comes everywhere back. We made with the cafe ole stop and took a boat tour in the mangroves. Helpful with tours is also the staff at reception. It is helpful, well english speak to be able. The staff understands, as expected, no word of german. The pool area was kept clean and the pool cleaned daily. On the penultimate day stayed noisy koreans in the neighbouring room. The staff at reception immediately reacted and we got a different room. read more

Great resort. The Nirwana Resort is the almost the whole north of the island. So, you slavishly at the rates Hardcover - however, there is every restaurant 1-2 Promotiongerichte with normal prices. ( If you don't know you quickly paid for 1 bottle of water, 1 salad, 1 pasta 35 Euro) The drinks have different prices 1 liter bottle of water will cost you up to 10 euro per restaurant You mustn't disturb the Urlaubfreude in the lovely grounds. Just once in the pasar Ole Ole and supplies, and take in the Duity free already get alcohol for the stay ... and it is great for seeing the great beach just sit and enjoy the evening. Unfortunately, there with sandy beaches a few sand flies and "oil/tar"- Residues, the hotel is already gewabmet and cure. Easy on the horizon one still recognizes the huge cargo ships pass the one of the Hauptseewege Singapore use, but these are not intrusive and you see is if you put your mind to it and it is very clear. In May each evening we got Gewitterkulisse erfischende clouds over the beach and in the afternoon. The hotel is very well maintained. We stayed in a deluxe room and the view of pool us beach is very nice. The pool is huge and very nice. We were lucky and on the beach was blowing the yellow flag. No Jellyfische but there are other times and you will probably not go into the sea. We were always in the restaurant Helo Helo at the bazaar Ole Ole food. Just call in the restaurant, and you will have free picked us up and drop you home. The food was very delicious and also much cheaper than in the ... hotel.
