The staff from the check-in to the cleaning staff are very polite and service minded. Breakfast was very good. A wide selection from sweet to savory. The hotel is perfectly located but still very quiet! Our room was rather small but in fact big enough. The bathroom was quite big. Both room and bathroom were very clean.

We arrived in the morning at 8 o'clock in the hotel and were herzlichstbempfangen. As the room wasn't ready, we were he for breakfast skillfully. As sichbspäter turned out, free of charge! Overall, we were 5 nights in the hotel night with breakfast booked.

Location of the hotel very centrally located, but since side street. Very quiet. Next S-Bahn gulhane in 3 minutes. All major attractions within walking ... distance.

The hotel is fully recommendable. It lies in a quiet side street with numerous small restaurants and bistros. Many sights of the city are beqeuem to reach on foot.
The rooms are not all too largely however very well equipped. Furthermore everything is great clean. read more

I am very positively surprised as all people are helpful. The food tasted fantastic a small aftertaste the too expensive beer but otherwise everything totally great as the ship we have taken. Also the taxi drivers are really friendly we fly probably the august again read more

The hotel is very central and you can all sights well reachable on foot. The staff at reception were very friendly and extremely hard! Both the reception as well as the adoption were very welcoming. We had a 3 -bed room and had enough space. The only fault: the breakfast. There were some things, the I definitely not for breakfast serving would, like for instance noddle salad etc.. And other things, like rolls not at all. However that's a question of taste. The hotel lies in a pedestrian area with many restaurants. read more

I certainly enjoyed the stay at the Hotel Sapphire in beautiful Istanbul. The central location in the older European section is perfect as a base; close to the major sites of interest and many eateries. We were treated very well by the staff and were very comfortable in our clean, well equipped, and quite spacious rooms. The breakfasts were delicious! The staff (Deniz and others) who met us when we checked in did a great job of introducing us to the hotel and to the city. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family and anyone else ... travelling to this fabulous city. Great hospitality!

A nice hotel in the middle of the old town-Blaue Moschee, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Public transport, shops, good restaurants- everything on the doorstep. The location is for a city very quiet, since the building in a pedestrian area and furthermore with good insulating windows equipped. Rich Turkish breakfast buffet, very helpful staff as well as at the reception, as well as housekeeping-so our desire for warmer blankets in minutes met. Also the somewhat plush and Oriental facilities like, all together: exactly we for our istanbulreise desired! The shuttle from the airport Ataturk were free carried out, the driver waited evenings ... at 23:00 o'clock from private reasons a hour on the airport to us and for the farewell there were even Tokens. hi there the hotel has a top, 1 minutes to train 5 minutes on foot to the sights
Value for money is super, the service was top I had my suitcase forget and 2 weeks later get back,
So, if you want a beautiful city (Sultan Ahmed) and Taksim and so on the is miot the hotel in a great location.
I recommend in any case Taksim and Asia side kadikoy to watch, kadikoy takes you by boat
20 minutes for 1 Euro over there you can also very delicious and cheap food, the train in front of the hotel ... drives you really

The pool in the basement of the hotel you should rather avoid. Whoever wanted a city hotel in Istanbul searches, the Sapphire a good choice. It lies in a pedestrian precinct ( however difficult for taxis to reach ), only a couple of minutes from the tram stop Gulhane away. Almost all sights from Istanbul are on foot or with the tram in really short time reachable.
The hotel is of lots of international tourists. The staff are very friendly and helpful with all questions.
The rooms and the bath were quite small, but sufficient and clean. The breakfast buffet offers very much selection, only the coffee tasted not particularly good.
Just ... a pity, that the restaurant on the roof terrace no longer exists. Instead you will find only waste and garbage. read more
