Dublin ( according to advertisement) the friendliest city in Europe - that only a joke. We were very disappointed with this hotel. Because of our Ireland tour in other hotels - this was the absolute worst ( in a negative way). worn matresses, Stomausfall under the shower, the food was so slammed' on the table. Apart from the incredible arrogance of the staff. This hotel we will certainly never visit!!! read more

Quite new hotel - Dublin archived

The hotel is still very new. There are 146 rooms distributed on 7 floors. Two elevators are also present. Those are however very small. We had booked half-board. Most guests came from Germany or France. Some business travelers came made of Ireland. The hotel was not written off. Which was probably because of the fact that it lies somewhat outside from Dublin (approx. 9 km). The average age was at about 50 years. read more

All rooms are nonsmoker rooms and are equipped with new furniture. The rooms have TV (no German transmitters) a shower, foehn, safe (free), telephone, radio bell, an ironing board, a water digester and a heating. An adapter is necessary.

  • Gastronomy
    4.5

In the hotel there is a bar and a restaurant. They are all day opened. Tip did not want to assume. The breakfast is nationaltypical. Small sausage, roasted bacon, scrambled eggs, grilled tomato, jam, muesli and black and white pudding (roasted disks blood and liver sausage). The coffee was not so great. With dinner there was a menu after choice. Was completely more delicious. Water gave it free of charge with dinner. A small (0, 2 L) bottle wine costs 5, 50 euro, a beer (pint = 0, 536 L) costs 4, 80 euro and a Guinness (pint) to 4, 40 euro.

The staff is very friendly and speaks only English. The check in ran problem-free, since it had taken over our guide. We were only 3 nights in the hotel. There there were no complaints from our side. A laundry service was present. One orders a physician over the reception. The room cleaning ran without problems. Room service gives it only in the time between 08. to 00 o'clock and 16. 00 o'clock.

  • Sport & Entertainment
    3.5

WLAN is free. The only 5 minutes to foot “Jackie Skelly” Fitnessklub removed gives reduced admission fees for the hotel guests.

In the hotel environment it gives a Shoppingcenter. There there is a restaurant, a food shop and a pharmacy. We did not visit it. Before the door there is a bus stop. From here one comes into about 40 minutes into the city center of Dublin, for each traffic conditions. There is still another Eisenbahnstation (5 minutes footpath). Those is at present still closed. Since the hotel lies in a trade area, the leisure offer is very reduced.

The hotel is clean and tidy! The rooms are nicely decorated and big enough. Even though the hotel was busy with young people, we didn't hear any noise. The food is typical Irish and when fully booked it could be, that also something run out ( breakfast). No pool or other, but you don't need if you only one or two nights. The area is a little gloomy but there is a bus stop and arrive directly at the hotel. read more

In the hotel room one has a WLAN connection, which one can use with a Notebook free of charge. There is 5 minutes of travel to the Liffey Valley, 15 minutes of travel to the Blanchardstown & 20 minutes of travel to the Stephens Green. If one still more liked to shoppen, one should in the largest shopping center of Europe the Dundrum town center - where one visits 25 minutes of travel needing. read more
