Not recommendable:
Room service left much to be desired also on repeated call happened nothing! Compensation should be by cocktailgutschein arise, ordered cocktails could not be spent, since kokossirup was! That's unacceptable for a 5 star hotel not happen! And not at all on new year's eve!
Pool area very small, only a steam room and a sauna, whereas the sauna with a capacity for about 5 people were constantly overcrowded! You will find in any 4 star hotel!
Value for money is very bad, we are very disappointed our silvester! read more

The doormen were extremely friendly. The receptionists incompetent and quite rigid.
In the double bed unfortunately only a blanket (annoying)! The bed too small!
Air conditioning did not work.
The location is of course great and the food in the restaurant you have to have experienced this! read more

In the november i was as a part of a meeting for 3 nights at the side. My conclusion is ambivalent : good location, good room, but (for a 5 star hotel): vanities worn, rather disappointing wellness area in the basement, service in the restaurant (in the mornings and afternoons) partly on kneipenniveau (' which meat dish? Don't know, the, the chef '). Wi-fi costs (meter e. rude in the current time), there is: hire a beamer for 1 day : Euro 240,-! Price-performance altogether borderline. read more

The hotel is very centrally located on the gänsemarkt goose market. The subway is in 2 minutes. We had a business room. Size was absolutely sufficient. It was also clean. We had the breakfast based on a recommendation additionally booked. Really paid off. Recommend this prior to book as it is cheaper. read more

Very suitable for a Hamburg visit to a very high price.
Nice hotel in a very good location to the city center. Within walking distance from the train station Dammtor.
At least the business -rooms had a NESPRESSO -machine. read more

Really recommendable, it 'is' the central location - everything is good on foot reachable. Furthermore the hotel lies in a very quiet area, has extremely good traffic connections and is very' stylish' designed. Erwáhnenswert is the rooftop terrace with great views of the center, ' and then here with good weather a cocktail, the has it all.
Without any concerns recommendable. read more

The hotel is its name 'designer hotel' absolutely do it justice. Everything is very spread out and great modern, but it has a certain warmth. This is also true for the rooms to. Absolutely great is the rich fine breakfast. Impressively is the central location, 5 minutes from the lake alster. read more

Nice hotel, especially the location is ideal because you have to take the S-Bahn am dammtor or on the gänsemarkt goose market quickly in every direction from Hamburg drive can. The employees are very accommodating and help quickly. The amenities in the room I found not so nice, is however matter of taste. Me disturbed especially the size of the bed ( I found it very small and uncomfortable ) furthermore disturbed me the common blanket with my boyfriend, it was too narrow and we as a mutually the ceiling taken away-)
To summarize I found the stay OK ... for one night. I would because of the restless night however not again there a room book. read more

We really enjoyed it in the Hotel Side, it is very moden decorated and has a great location.
The Altster and shops are on foot easy to reach, also is the subway-station not far from the hotel.
The staff at the hotel was very pleasant and accommodating, we can definitely recommend this hotel and be our next Hamburg-stay definitely stay there again. read more

Lovely hotel in a good location nearby alster lake. The front desk and the concierge are very friendly, the breakfast is great! Great choice and all very fresh.
Although the hotel only relatively newly built and 5 stars, I must but unfortunately say that our room it quite run-down and some are not very clean was. The air conditioning was otherwise broken, so we constant 27 degrees in the room had, where we for one night 't have complained about. The ceiling on the pool in the wellness area has already a few stains on. And I found the total ... price for a five-star hotel afterwards but really beautiful expensive. I would nevertheless recommend, if as mentioned a different room available is. read more

The side -hotel located in Hamburg city center proximity Gänsemarkt Goose market. Both the entrance hall ( cold atmosphere), as well as the bathroom/ the toilets are took some getting used to. The location is ideal and at the quality of the staff, the decor and the food there is nothing to moan about. read more

Very beautiful hotel, which one from the outside not at all look at, what is behind this. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, as well as a versatile and delicious breakfast. A beautiful hotel which recommendable is! The location is great in walking distance to the exhibition halls, Alster and shopping options. The modern rooms styled, but a few ' Switch (light, window etc.)' too much. For the guest nice glasses in the bathroom, for the cleaning ladies certainly not... Altogether it was a very nice stay! read more

Modern hotel. Carpets in our room very stained. Breakfast way too expensive. Free Wi-Fi. Food in the hotel in the upper price range. Very centrally located to subway and bus. No shower. Bath tub very dangerous for showers. (Danger of slipping and no there is a place ) read more
