The hotel is very convenient, just 2 minutes from the train station. The buffet breakfast includes a wide range of food. The staff in the hotel is very helpful. However, there is no in room wifi access. read more

I am always to this hotel again as it is very good to the public transport links. Both line 3, as well as line 6 drive quasi directly in front of the hotel past (underground of course). Furthermore, exactly opposite the viennese Westbahnhof with its shopping malls and the Mariahilfer Straße is only a few hundred meters away. Central it is for me not in Wien. read more

In no case 4 stars, we had booked a suite, we got an attic loft in liftnähe. Therefor day and night very disturbing liftgeräusche. Because it during our stay strongly rained, crackled the rain on the skylight. Good sleep was so not possible. The tv was in the sleeping area, so was the living area-also because of the dim lighting-unusable. Read therefore also not possible.
The mini bar was pathetic stocked: 2 beer 0.3 liter, 2 mineral water 0.25 liter, 2 juices 0.2 liter
On the upside is the very friendly and competent service. The breakfast buffet ... was excellent and extensive, even with sparkling wine. read more

Good and cheap city hotel directly to the west -train station (2 minutes path from the train station). Nice front desk. Room clean excellent. Internet over cable in the room ( with your own laptop; worked very well). Big breakfast. Beautiful, wide bed. Mini bar available. Safe direct in the room. The best is, that you about this hotel short has ( subway, pub, shops, train station, Maria-help-str, etc.). In short: hotel is recommendable. read more

We were first in a smoking room put-despite our baby! On complaint we got a new room. Rooms are clean, however the hotel is mostly good and in the breakfast room there are too few places, you should be prepared to wait, if you in the hotel bar no get space. Central location with great transport links to the subway, tram, buses and trains! To the question, whether our tv was broken, we were told, that no technician in the house is. We should even a little try, if we again set in motion, because the maid sometimes any plug ... pull. Unfortunately, we do not. read more

We have 1 night spent in this hotel. The hotel is very centrally located right next to the Westbahnhof and due to the u-bahn is always very quickly where you want to go. The rooms are not very nice - they are very small and simply also worn and unfortunately not very clean! For one night however ok. Price was good. We train and hotel booked together! read more

Have 3 times in the Hotel Mercure stayed overnight - room and cleanliness top-but a 4 star hotel but some expect more. The staff at the front desk were reasonable - rapid check-in/check-out-cleaning staff looked a bit unfriendly at (laundry was nearby the underground garages, therefore ran the staff in the use of the lift often on the way). Breakfast was sublime - wide choice - respect! The hotel bar was of a 4-star hotel absolutely unworthy unfriendly staff, when we at 23 o'clock to the hotel returned and a 'drink' wanted to enjoy. The young totally overstrained staff referred ... to the curfew, another employee ignored us totally, cleared rather glasses in the dishwasher. Sad, if i were a businessman for 18 people rooms have booked and so ridiculously am treated-absolutely unworthy of a 4 star hotel, which in my opinion is for these services is totally too expensive. A big bonus is the perfect location to Westbahnhof. I would therefore despite some criteria recommend this hotel! From the construction has already some renewed and perhaps these ' little things' were repaired-would be very pleased! read more

The hotel has from the furnishings in the room and their size the four stars not deserved. We booked a double room with an additional bed and could at third hardly move. Especially the bathroom was very in need of renovation. You should especially the tiles, as well as the washbasin renew.
Breakfast was very varied ( even with sparkling wine, if you like ) and very good.
The best we enjoyed the central location, a few meters to the Westbahnhof, as well as the shopping district 'Mariahilfer Straße'.
Also for other excursions a very suitable hotel. read more

We were very satisfied. The hotel is very well located for U- Bahen, bus, Railways.
Price-performance ratio was right. The rooms in the 4th floor were newly renovated.
However to the roadside very loud, one had to the' window shoot ( air conditioning available)
The breakfast was top. Would go back the hotel book. read more

We booked this trip at the last minute. Unfortunately worked the online reservation through accor not, so we had to call made a reservation, the very complicated deal. On arrival, the staff were very surprised, since no reservation existed. However luckily i had the e-mail with the confirmation and so we got immediately our room. It should supposedly the quietest are. It was on the top floor with a view of the patio. Unfortunately the elevator very good, what our sleep very quickly was. The room was clean, but already very worn. The breakfast we except house in one of ... the numerous cafes nearby restaurant. read more

The location as a starting point for almost all destinations in Vienne is right next to the train station a great. Subway, subway and train directly in front of the door.
The single room in the 7 floor is very small and close it in the bathroom to, certainly not four stars standard. That it was only half as lots of spaces in the breakfast room as guests then leads to considerable Bottlenecks between 8 and 9 o'clock. So definitely the recommendation the house consequences and have your breakfast earlier or later.
Very positive is the free Wi-Fi in the ... lobby and free use of a computer. read more

The hotel is seine worth 4 stars. The price is for Wien also very reasonable. The underground car park is cramp and you will find difficult to get a space. Especially if a event in the hotel is. The hotel has already a few years and guests on the embossment. The can tell you, because damage caused by the guests avoid and not always hide leave. But it is obviously very well maintained. The friendliness in the hotel it must be stressed. Excellent breakfast buffet. The room could have been a bit bigger. As already mentioned in the title: in sum fits the hotel already and I will surely again there nächtigen. Because of my last review ( in I something filthy carpet criticising) offered me a free upgrade to superior to, which I this time was ( furthermore were anyway no other More rooms available). I found myself however stay in a room with carpeted floors. Also the bathroom have a small renovation necessary (cracked tiles, water temperature of the shower as good as not pleasant adjustable). The picture on the television left also much to desire, but this is a small ... something.
The area of the restaurant but since my last review renewed, the quality of the dishes for breakfast is still top or she has even improved. Also the staff are always extremely friendly and accommodating. Big praise but!
The hotel's location is great, especially, because the Bahnhofscity westbahnhof already a real shopping center or also extremely much variety offers, what the gastronomy subject. read more

Lobby, bar and breakfast premises acceptable, the is however already everything, state of the rooms perhaps one and a half stars. Is but a renovation subject. The hotel itself looks really nice from however the room was unfortunately not more 'modern' and the additional costs for parking, breakfast etc. Were then at the end but quite high.
Summary: the value for money is not really, breakfast too expensive for what you get. Have in the nearby hotels more ambience and style for the same amount received. read more
