I came with high expectations, because it last year so wonderful was. My expectations were even surpassed! I had the opportunity to again real warmth and hospitality experience, the team and family berchtold show at every opportunity, that you are welcome. Also a special request from the last year one knew and i was so pleasantly surprised. The dinner in the hotel is a culinary delight, the chef is a master of his profession. The rooms have now all new, state-of-the-art flat screens with digital hd satellite tv. I had a beautiful big quiet comfort room in arvenstil, as requested ... with nordbalkon, if you from the window look, you are in the middle of winter snowy forest. My tip: half board with dinner book. Makes holidays in january, since the ski slopes are also at the weekend empty, there is no waiting times to the lifts and chair lifts! read more

A really long-established family hotel. The old live-hurry a new live-hurry in timber construction added, the very well with the architecture blended in. The rooms are different large; i believe, that about 40 guests can be accommodated. We had us for the 'new double rooms (20 meters ²)' decided, with half board, and were very satisfied. In the room inclusive was: shower/separate/toilet, hair dryer, flat screen tv radio, telephone, wi-fi, alarm clock, minibar, safe, balcony-everything in tipptoppem condition. read more

    Our 20 meters ² room has enough for us. The room temperature you can adjust. Shower and toilet features an adjustable deduction equipped. Width comfortable beds and everything very clean. With larger space is also a fireplace room with a library available.

    The food was always good. For the half board guests was every day a 4a 5-course menu provided, the but also change could (for example fish instead of meat or other hors-d'oeuvre). Salad buffet with about 15 different salads and four sauces to choose from. Breakfast buffet varied and plentiful.

    The whole family berchtold helps in the hotel with. Mr berchtold worries about the schneeschieben, will pick you up and will deliver luggage of the guests and helps in service, mrs berchtold is rather for house and kitchen undelegated, the daughter the office. All, also the employees, are very friendly, willing to help and courteous.

    The hotel is located a few meters away next to the cable car, but completely quiet. Great view into the mountains and the village. Walk of about 15 minutes to the village centre. Everything available: post office, bank, sportgeschafte, bakery, coop, pharmacy. Of course, many ski lifts and cable cars.

The hotel boasts the quality of the kitchen, the kindness and courtesy of the staff, the easy going atmosphere and the separatingness directly a few meters next to the slopes at the edge of the forest. The ski slopes are on the doorstep. On the doorstep on the ski, from the slopes before the door. Who the peace and quiet on the sun terrace are looking for, is in the right place here. read more

We had the two-storey suite. A dream. The materials are top, the colors like, in the bathtub there is the view to Matterhorn! Wow. The easy going atmosphere was very good, the kitchen was excellent, the breakfast rich and regionally. We will be back! read more

The waldhaus weiteer recommend, we would gladly come again once to the waldhaus. The waldhaus is very good located for various hikes, it is located nearby the station and from the stop the Aletschbuses. read more

We arrived and felt at home. There is a uncomplicated atmosphere, the food was regal, we have rarely eaten so well. The breakfast buffet was delicious and rich.
