I had for a weekend just four times the so-called 'comfort-arrangement' (= two nights in two double room ) with a view of the car park (the announced hochwald was pretty decent in the background on) booked.
The attached sparkling wine (a cuvée) is probably from the 1-Euro-shop and the first breakfast needed one hammer drill, around the zementartige mass with parched golden Krone (this should scrambled egg his, but according to the service it was already very long over his flame) from the tank to fill. After my comment came quite fast a new, this time real scrambled egg. ... My coffee pot, i have as well as exchanges must, since i did not have foreign lipstick on the mouth to have wanted (4-star?).

We had for 1 night a comfort room with sea view booked.
The lady at the front desk greeted us warmly and told us all important information (spa, breakfast, food, and so on.) With.
The room was very pleasant, very spacious and clean.
Also the bathroom was very spacious, clean and had a glass a small eye-catcher in the hotel rooms.
The promised sea view, you could because of the largearea windows much enjoy.
In addition there was to our room a really big, covered balcony.
The breakfast buffet we can't say anything, however, we used the room service ... (extra charge) and us the breakfast to the room bring. The choice, and the quality were good.
Of the lobby and bar area is very attractive, and invites you to stay a while a.
When checking out pointed us the staff the smooth streets and asked very friendly like us stay pleased.
Good pleased the uncomplicated use of the free, onsite wlan's.
No 6 stars for the hotel we gave, because:
- the use the wellness area is unfortunately not inclusive
- bathrobe and shoes, only for a fee
- not a comfortable option for a breakfast in bed (trays or coffee table)
The spa and of the kitchen, and the breakfast buffet we can't make any comments, since we this not taken into account have. read more

A hotel which not free wohlfühlhotel means. Definitely recommendable. For summer and winter vacation in the best way suitably. For questions is immediately competent assistance and a solution. The Kulinarium this kitchen/chef very recommendable. The staff in the Kulinarium absolutely great and has a special thanks deserved. read more

We were with all family 3 generations the hotel has wonderful room with a view of the lake for excursions Trier, Saarbrücken, Luxemburg etc. Great in every direction a 30 minute drive but it was worth it the location of the hotel.
Just a pity very, very bad kitchen in the restaurant and the brewery even worse.
Pond to do not swim released unfortunately, that would be really important and a big plus.
The wellness area is very small.
Nevertheless nice hotel. We were already twice over there, for a weekend for relaxing.
Price-performance really really good, 120 Euro double ... room with lake view and large breakfast for 2 people.
It is worthwhile. read more

We had in the hochwälder feel good hotel a large comfortable room from 28 meters² with a view of the forest. In the beautiful panoramic restaurant with a view of the lake we could extensively the rich breakfast with friendly and courteous service enjoy. Modern comfortable ambience ensures that the right mood at the fireplace bar.
This hotel we could in any case highly recommend. read more

A beautiful, modern hotel an attractive park and lake. Unfortunately were some beautiful balls of light broken and evenings not at. Evenings we have then also unfortunately no table in the Hotelrstaurant more, we would have him before reserve needs, what I as a houseguest but quite unusual find. We were on the neighboring brewery referred, the food there, well, tourist class. It was the room in the hotel very modern and had a great view on the lake. The hotel's restaurant the name ' hochwälder Kulinarium' not deserved. The kitchen is unprofessional and overwhelmed. For example were the dishes partly cold. The service was slow, badly organized and could not with complaints bypass. That was during the evenings always worse, we (14 -headed group) were practically barely served.
The restaurant this' hochwälder comfort hotels' is a only disappointment and not recommendable.

Very beautiful room with a great view of the lake and beautiful balcony for sunbathing. Do not understand the extra charge of 5 euros for the use of the sauna range, the Help 4 persons already crowded.
Restaurant: fine price, the food not. We were with a group (14 Prsonen locally) and had Spargelmenüs. Per menu were nevertheless 3 whole rods asparagus serves, the however were cold. The service could with our constructive criticism did not work, let alone, the chef (wherever the learned) could face. Fits on either the prices, still otherwise very beautiful hotel. read more

Very nice wellness hotel where Germany, France and Luxembourg. The Saarschleife and Trier are fast reachable. The offered spa facilities is small but sweet. As soon as the swimming pond is finished, you could also go for a swim. The rooms are modern and spacious. Only the air conditioning you forget!
The breakfast buffet is very big and rich. During full utilization, the service unfortunately not afterwards.
The attached brewery has a good beer list and a delicious own brand. The menu should by domestic courts and freshly prepared be.
Baby cribs should free of charge available be made. The ... value for money is good. The negative statements can fast by the management be corrected. read more

It is a rather small four star hotel with about 55 rooms.
we had a room with a lake view which was to be recommended.
the rooms on the other they have a great view is not so beautiful, the hotel's own parking!
the hotel is Handicapped accessible and very modern with a small bar in the reception area and a wonderful terrace.

Clearly, that a four stars hotel, it's still okay, if it makes a mess of its four stars does not do it justice, but you have to see it in the relationship: if I were in a more upscale and therefor in accordance with pay, I expect at least the four stars standard. In this hotel this standard is far out of touch and I am amazed at the four stars. Across the street at the brewery (air line 15 meters) is hit-party, from well-being hotel is at the moment no trace, if I straight with the village-people gets!-have to ... share the room sauna and wellness area sounds according to the hotel description after 'much', but it is not: because it is very narrow and very small, it was much too narrow built and planned, you can have it in the hotel description name/count, but sitting in the sauna and have no three people the swimming pond is a fish pond-it was the balance with free outdoor swimming tickets of the nachbarortes advertised, even after we asked at the front desk not. (Wi-Fi)-Internet for days broken, no one knows why, allegedly care about a technician.-the food is not the four stars are appropriate, either at the breakfast, even at the dinner.
