In the Welcome Hotel meschede is a typical seminary/trip hotel with corresponding premises. In the winter certainly not as attractive as in the summer. The lake directly in front of the türe, quaint and peacefully located.
Parking spaces sufficiently available.
With the 2. übernachtungsbesuch i had a much better room as in the first attempt received. Facilities and cleanliness good - bathroom big enough.
Breakfast more than enough - but might be once a makeover experience. read more

We, couple, 55 and 56-years-old, stayed new year's eve 2012 here. Value for money is okay unfortunately not. Room clean and tidy. The waiters great. Also the breakfast buffet was great and unfortunately the only highlight in this hotel. Fish are in good hands. At the buffets was fish always available in large amounts. Meat was scarce. Vegetable gave it only from the tiefkühlbeutel. The tischverlosung on new year's eve just unimaginative. Regular guests got already communicated the best places, without drawing. Our money worth less? We sat at the 10. table with 8 dutch, the hardly spoke german and ... 2 80-year-old. Great new year's eve. New year's eve buffet was good, if also not super great. Meat again poor (roast veal and chicken). There was also no wi-fi in the rooms. In the lobby you had a little front desk! Unfortunately, there was in the bar, if you can call it, the facility was only on our request for a non-smoking place open, no cocktails. These beverages would too few be required, was the comment a service strength. In the bar it was so cold, messy and dirty on the tables, we immediately our room to disperse. The shower in the bathroom there was a fiasco. The shower head had a size of about 8 to 5 centimeter! The hose of the shower was so short, that my husband on bended knees taking a shower. We had room with a view of the lake, very, very nice. If not a totally dirty, with huge brown stains consideration curtain would have been. We find, the this hotel not worth 4 stars is. We will for certain also not more in a heartbeat. read more

A very nice peacefully located hotel right on the lake hennesee. Some rooms have a spectacular view on the lake. The rooms are completely fine and well equipped. The seminarbereiche of the hotel are in top condition. In the restaurant you can really good food, however, you should not have particularly high expectations regarding the choices. All in all the hotel you can book without hesitation. read more

Hottest day this year we decided to stay in a longer hike just have a drink.
At the tables in front of the entrance we were told: here is not yet open, please go to the top of the terrace. We were told: as have no time, to operate, because we the brunch to prepare.
This' service' was very customer unfriendly and we will in this hotel for sure not book. read more

I had booked for my birthday my wife this arrangement.
The check-in and check-out was quick and easy.
The hotel is divided into a new building and a, listed, old building from the fifties to.
In the same building we had booked our apartment with view of the lake. This was relatively large and decorated in the style of the fifties style. The furniture and the obstructed technology made a clean and relatively new.
I liked it was very good, my wife not so good. Just a matter of taste.
From the highway you get nothing in the old building. ...
The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no reason to complain.
Free bike rentals helped us, the area around the 'right outside the door lying' EE Henn to explore.
The four course menu was the selection of the meals, service and table a pleasure.
The breakfast buffet was varied and more than adequate.
Here, too, we can't say anything bad about the service.
In the basement of the building is the restaurant ' Klabutermann '. This is the only way, to smoke in the home.
Otherwise smokers outside the door. Which didn't bother us, because at home we do not smoke in the bedroom.
To criticize are only the high drink prices. These are 'in'.
Here are price/performance ratio didn't match.
The wellness area is located in the new building. We didn't use due to the short time, although these in the package was inbegfriffen.
I would recommend this hotel for a short break at the weekend without any problem. read more

This hotel is on mass processing laid out, the staff was completely overwhelmed and so to a large extent unfriendly and unmotivated-No comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully furnished, but unfortunately very worn and only conditionally clean (stained carpet, dirty curtains, strongly soiled cushions). Bathroom was fairly small but good storage space, body lotion, shampoo and so on can not available, unusual in this
Category. The breakfast buffet room begarrs all description! Everything was poorly presented and much too small for so many guests. Setting and clearing on request only. The sauna wasn't't inviting, the towels were a disaster.
The ... location of the hotel is very busy street must be above mentioned, noise on the balcony and with the door open day and night very disturbing. The view of the lake was gorgeous. read more

The location of the hotel and the view of the lake is of course great.

The hotel was located above the hen lake. We had a wonderful view. You will need a car, as the town is about five kilometer away meschede away. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant was very friendly. read more

We stayed here for the weekend and the wellness offer used. We were treated extremely efficient and very friendly. You can even provide us with very short deadlines. The general impression is positive and is what you would expect in a four star hotel. A pool would have the stay a icing on the cake. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection and the breakfast is available until 10:30 A. M. were very pleasant. The half board was also a good decision, as in the evening it was a 3-course menu with three of choice of main dishes, meat/fish/vegetarian ..., was served. The location of the hotel is very nice, but a room with a lake view is much better decision. Considering the possibilities for excursions hiking /, is given the choice of the hotel in any case. read more

We were too fourth 2008 and 2010 with carnival on the beautiful snowy Henn EE. And were very comfortable. The Saturday in meschede each time with a lot of joy made great purchases.
The competence of the staff in their room was just as courteous and had some surprises ready, as well as in the hotel. The catering trade in the house was excellent and can be recommended with a clear conscience.
Not only because the perfect tapped warsteiner.
The time flew by-unfortunately!

to setup was a professional training in this hotel and it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms were big enough and include a mini-bar, desk, safe, bath, WC, hairdryer, and television. Sometimes the room direct view of the Hennesee, the very easy to reach by walking distance. There is a lovely walks. Meeting rooms are equipped with everything that you need. Also the food in the restaurant with a nice atmosphere, is highly recommended. The check-in, just like the check out get lost fast and easy. A place to feel at home! read more

In winter only for a short vacation in the sunshine. Spa area was very small and cramped and no indoor pool available. Sunday brunch highly recommended, 80 % of the guests are from the Netherlands. read more
