On the way there we had 2 hours wait until our rooms were finished, meanwhile, our suitcase in a utility closet turned off. Finally they gave us the key to our suitcase from the utility closet could get. When the wife from the reception the room key hinhielt, and we wanted to take, shrugged the keys back and said unfriendly: the keys! Meant they key for the utility closet. Breakfast was very bad, too few at the buffet and the coffee has no taste. Besides was the food in the basement served and there was far from enough places. Room ... was clean and spacious. read more

The hotel has everything which one needed to live! Nothing more, nothing less. The rooms are very clean and the staff friendly! Adoption of the hotel manager personally with a handshake, I don't know any hotel where the death penalty still exists! For a city break very recommendable! read more

Room rather small, also the shower/toilet. in the general was the room clean, take a closer look one was not allowed to. breakfast buffet in the waiter. Selection rather small. the restaurant and the bar we did not found... Where they labeled was, was too. note: for house dust allergic is this hotel not suitable! the whole hotel with carpet laid out. read more

    Small, until very small. furniture rather old and unsteady. but there were a kettle and teacoffee. unfortunately it has with us from the ceeiling, if the waiter us apparently too long to have showered. And the rooms/hotel is very, very badly soundproofed!

    staff although friendly, but rather a bit confused. A wake-up call took place, the second is not. For this, we got for 3 people right 2 taxis for airport.

    in a few minutes one is in the 'Connell street... The main street from Dublin. and it is also not far to the Fleetstreet (Temple bar ), where the hard rock café and some pubs are.

The location is absolutely great, within walking distance to all the sights. Rooms are uncomfortably and have a poor facilities. It is warm and the air is available throughout the property bad. The breakfast was more like a mass and you would be glad the room quickly to leave. The rickety Windows because of all the noise not be opened. All in all a simple B&B hotel and if you don't feel like a little peace and quiet will Disappointed. read more

Very bland is the only good thing about this hotel is the location, more or less, within five minutes walk to the centre of Dublin, as well as the price. Inside, the hotel is old fashioned with run down and smelled damp furniture. The rooms are tiny bathroom 'simple' -it is probably the best-and the breakfast room in the basement is not worth mentioning as well as the miserable breakfast. So if you don't have to watch every penny should make a detour around this house, but if you want to make the pubs and night anyway not hear a ... thing is not the place for you. I think the pictures give it a small impression. read more

Large hotel near centre of Dublin. You can walk or take a bus. Rooms are recently redecorated. Beds are good but as our room was on the 4th floor we could not see out of the windows, they were too high. Shower too hot and in the bathroom there was no space for your toilet articles. Cleanliness was OK. Breakfast itself is OK (Irish breakfast) but the room is downstairs, fully crowded and very muggy. Service a bit unpersonal due to the busyness. We did not sleep very well due to the fact that the hotel is situated on crossroads ... with lots of traffic noise (buses and trucks), also in the night. That was really awfull! read more

    Size for 3 persons a bit small. Windows high so we could not look out. Warm, the sun was shining and the room maid had opened the curtains (although we left them closed). Bathroom no space for personal things. Beds were really good.

    Large hotel near centre of Dublin. You can walk or take a bus. Rooms are recently redecorated. The hotel was located close to downtown. The rooms were renovated, but unfortunately only superficially. The renovation in the Castle Hotel, unfortunately, was that simply a new carpet was laid on the old, which probably led to the unpleasant smell that was prevalent throughout the hotel. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. In the bathroom next to hair and toothpaste remains of our predecessors, there were also undefined brown spots which were not removed during our holiday.Breakfast was included in the price, but unfortunately we could not enjoy this because the tables were not wiped off, and ... the bread was sometimes very old, which made it inedible.We canceled our holiday after 3 nights at this hotel and moved into a Bed & Breakfast guesthouse. read more
