A wonderful Teakholzvilla in the middle a tropical garden in the diplomatic quarter. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We have every evening there eaten. Evenings was the garden very beautiful with lighted large umbrellas decorated. The tables stood on the veranda, or in the garden. The bar is very atmospheric, you can not only on the porch and to just sit but also in the airy top floor with a view of the garden. The breakfast is too excellent. The pool is clean and well maintained and even to open in the evening ..., so that one also after spätabendlicher homecoming a round swim could. There are 2 shops with nice local produce. read more

For us one of the best hotels on our trip through Myanmar. Very polite, the dinner a real treat. The prices in the hotel very expensive (one example: 12 $for two fresh squeezed mango juices at the pool and 100 $for a dinner for 2). Super clean, service has always worked smoothly & quickly. On our second visit at the end of our trip we were welcomed as regular guests. The water in the pool was on our first visit a little cloudy, on my second visit but OK. The whole hotel area was super well-kept. Small drawback (concerned but ... actually all of us visited hotel): on the few guests was the breakfast very slimmed. Tip: if you want to eat outside, is in the ' Pandomar ' well cared for and it is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (so you can walk as well) Otherwise, are in the immediate vicinity only messages. read more

Stylish house with a beautiful garden and large chairs in the room. In the evening, the garden is with tables set for the evening meal.
Dinner is tasty but rather middle class. Atmosphere very beautiful.
Within walking distance (2 further avenue) is also the restaurant Pandomar. Also beautiful in the garden to sit and very stylish. Food but also rather mediocre.
At least it was with two dinner in two restaurants with us Sunday we had ordered Thai food. Enjoyed the has only really in the monsoon in Yangon. There is but the atmosphere not so beautiful ☺ read more

The Governors residence hotel was built in the 20-year of the last century as governor palace from teak and is just for this reason, a feast for the eyes. The extraordinary atmosphere is complemented by a sophisticated ambience and a generally efficient 'service', the one in this category expect-but also certainly already seen better has.
You enter the hotel through a bridge, the left has a tastefully designed pool, or righthand a flowery with Lotus pond in the garden and then in a open lobby area again. Behind the small courtyard on the tropical garden with the room wing. The ... room are very spacious, individually decorated (also here much wood) and luxurious, with love to detail, equipped. Also the bathrooms provide the expected comfort. The entire first floor of the main house is a beautiful, landscaped area with open bar, tastefully with refined works of art and antiques was. On the veranda on the ground floor and in the adjacent garden there is the restaurant (in the evening beautifully with big umbrellas and candle lit). The breakfast buffet was great, the restaurant price for Myanmar-standards exorbitantly high (as everything in this hotel was above average expensive). For dinner, we have to two without wine or special ' frills 'loosely over 100 us-$-an amount paid, the elsewhere for five dinner would have been enough. But you must also the exquisite ambiance, the comparable sure to find anywhere else in Yangon is, with account and pay. Nevertheless: a peak at the end of our Myanmar was it anyway. read more

Very nice city hotel in a quiet area, close to the embassies. The old colonial mansion was renovated and to E&O express belongs. The atmosphere and the furnishings is very beautiful. the breakfast buffet
is rich and very good. The à la carte lunch and dinner
(Asian or european cuisine) is also to be recommended and also also reasonably priced. All in all a very to empfehelndes hotel. read more

This hotel was the best in Myanmar. Beautiful old Kolonialbau in the embassy district. Not very big, so very well arranged. One has the impression, as 50 years in large luxury to travel. The hotel is in style and flair is difficult to beat and raffles (Singapore has) character, but with a very different price. The staff is topfit, one feels always well cared for. The hotel is not very far from the main tourist attractions. A haven of peace. The breakfast is not bad, but could be expanded. The restaurant is not cheap, but very good food served for ... a reasonable price. Conclusion: if Rangoon then again this hotel read more

A very nice and gorgeous hotel in Myanmar. We were thrilled. An old colonial hotel has been lovingly restored/renovated. Here is with love to detail work. The barman has made us a cocktail, the Internet had the look (1. Myanmar is no country in the cocktails are standard/second Internet gives it only very rarely and slow) the has us imposes before all this has then also in such a way tasted like I knew the cocktail. The service was great. To 4:30 a.m. in the morning it was breakfast (very large). We were both on arrival and departure ... and were very pleased to Myanmar. Also during the visit had left two bags in our. It was also no problem. At the arrival we were welcomed with a gong-also a very nice guests. read more
