The garden bungalows are very small. Go to bed one can only from one side. The nets do not close as too small. Electricity only from 6:30 p. m. until about 5:00 a. m. The beach-bungalows are ok. With the food you have no choice. There is afternoons and evenings only one dish. Occasionally a snack or salad is not available. In the restaurant it was very hot as any form of fans missing. The housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Carafe and glasses on the veranda are not cleaned. Toilet only superficially cleaned. Chairs and covers at ... the beach were not at all wiped, likewise the conches the ashtray serve. There were no umbrellas. The service is very moderate. Only makrofans can find some. Many reefs and coral were destroyed. Bewertung lesen

The hotel is on a small island. The bungalows are located in an almost treeless grasfläche where the whole day goats graze. To the beach it is just a few steps. On the island you can except sleep read and diving do nothing. To the shopping one drives with the boat on the land and then about 2 hours. To the city. Same distance to the airport.

A cute 'resort' with four bungalows and a small bar. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place to be. We were the only guests, we got delicious vegetarian dishes to order and of a good quality. The new bungalow with an open bathroom was beautiful. In the morning we were woken by the first rays of sun through the open terrace. The reef is full of intact corals. Unfortunately the number of fish was not large and there were no big fish. The beach is only narrow and there were large coral pieces lying around. So ... not really something for people, who are looking for long white sandy beaches with fine sand. Renting plastic canoes was relatively expensive (about 7 $ per canoe), if you consider that for lunch you pay about 2.50 $. Bewertung lesen

Paradise island hideaway - the best of Indonesia archiviert

We discovered this beautiful resort by chance and had the best time there of our whole trip through Indonesia! There are four really nice beach bungalows in total privacy and directly on the white sandy beach. The service - specially also the personal contact in advance of our booking - was great and we got spoiled with complementary fried bananas in the afternoon, great barbeque on the bonfire on the beach and perfect help in arranging our trip (car transport, boat ride.). The bungalows are very stylish, spacious and clean. With a lockable cupboard and security all night we ... feld totaly safe to leave our belongings in the room - in fact we slepped with open dors to hear the soft waves of the sea in the night. The first week we were the only guests - which was absolutely great. Then, with Nippey on Bali, the island was "full" which meant that we were in 7. As the guests are international (maybe little bit more Germans) and all the same tipe of open friendly divers or travellers looking for the perfect hideaway we had a very good time with them. Actually we made a bet who saw the best things during snorkeling-) We won with a seahorse but as the corals are so intact over there and the conditions for snorkeling are really great it is always fun. Well, have a look by yourself on www.pearlbeach-resort.com and you will know why we loved it-) Bewertung lesen

The four bungalows are really nice designed - a mix between modern stylish and tropical design. But the most important thing was the swing bed outside on the terasse for us. The rooms have ventilator and mosquito net (we actually left the net open as we didn't had any in our room) and that was perfectly fine as there is always a nice breath on the island and in the rooms. The bathrom is also a little highlite: very spacious, open waterfall shower and a Frangipani tree in there...

We enjoyed the manly indonesian (but for westerners cooked) dishes a lot. As they offer for lunch and dinner only a dish of the day they will ask you about your preferences (for example vegetarian). We didn't mind at all having no menu as all the food was great. Maybe it would be great to have more choice of cocktails (my girlfriends wish;-) but they told us that they are working on it.

Very professional and friendly (you can see that it is a western owned and managed resort) - and thanx a lot again to the Pearl Beach Resort to arrange that pancake-birthday cake for my girlfriend ;-)

As mentioned the sea is great - reaaaalllly great ;-) But next to water activities our main activity was actually just relaxing...

The bungalows are right on the white sandy beach. Laying on the bed or the swingbed outside with an astonishing view of the sunrise over the calm sea...wao!!!! The island itself is walkable in 1 hour and has some hills that are great to climb for the sunset. The best thing about the resort is the surrounding ocean and perfect corals. We tried out (next to snorkeling every day) diving and kayaking which was a lot of fun. As the dive center is working close together with the resort we just had to jump from the beach on the boat and all was prepared already - what a service! As Sekotong, the region were Gili Asahan is located, is still very untouristic you must be prepared to not having shopping center, bars (only the restaurant&bar from the resort) or night life around. But therefore of course also nobody comes to you every 5 minute trying to sell something ;-) We did some excoursions to center and south Lombok aswell as island hopping around the bay of Sekotong. All was very professional organised and we were impressed by the rich Sasak culture and there handcraft/artwork. From the airport it is 2 h driving and from lemabr 1 h - the resort organised the whole transportations with us which was very comfortable.
