We wanted vacation in a small clean hotel make, that peacefully located, but nevertheless center- and proximity to the beach and weren't disappointed. We were all around very satisfied, had no complaints and and refreshed. We would have not only a 3. Week 'work', but we have these even wished. The danae has approximately 40 rooms, distributed on 2-3 floors and is in all areas a very well-kept impression. The hotel is 23-years-old, accordingly different is the design of lobby, bar, terrace, breakfast area, waschräumen, corridors, room and so on some was apparently only recently renewed respectively redesigned, other has ... already a few years the old, but very well maintained and held. The garden design we also liked. The rooms are slightly different in size, the furnishing was old, but intact. The furnishing consists of double bed or two single beds, 2 chest of drawers with a drawer, dressing table (2 drawers), and a closet with 3 drawers and hängefläche with many hangers. Furthermore there was a small table and two armchair ( the because of the old cushions not to sit invite, but good shelf space are). A tv there are also; the received program we can't say anything, only used once briefly wore. On the balcony there was a table and two chairs, as well as a practical drying rack. Great: there are fly screen -doors. From some balconies in the 2. and 3rd floor limited view of the sea. Apart from that look you ever after location the small access road (only for the hotel, hardly any traffic) and the hill to the nude -beach or direction kathara beach and sideways on Faliraki-center. We the view of the hill included suns and moonrise very much. The bathroom is fully white tiled and big enough, although the shower is very tight (one got accustomed to it and there is also a solution with closed shower cabin the feet wash.) the corner rooms (we had 214) also have a window in the bathroom. The fridge you can for 3,- Euro per day rent; and the air conditioning for 6,- Euro per day. The safe at the front desk costs per week 10,- €. We were from 25,08.-08.09. 12 and wanted to only the air conditioning do, our opinion however soon changed, because it immediately after sunrise was very hot and the nighttime temperatures never below 25 °C were. The air conditioning works however only, if you in the room or on the balcony with closed balcony door and the room key in any holder puts (key cesspool and only the card pin is not; is good together soldered up-).) at night because we only at open window and not current air conditioning sleep or want to, we could the device only briefly in the morning and evenings light, what wasn't so great was. With the cleanliness in the whole hotel we were very satisfied. The two cleaning ladies did their job very well done. The danae you can only with breakfast book, which in our opinion a plus point is. There is a breakfast area in the lobby, but usually only used if the tables on the terrace were all occupied. The hotel has a beautiful terarsse with lounge furniture and adjoining bar ( until o'clock in the morning, but with silent music and not noisy guests), as well as a well kept pool with snack bar. The types of people are clearly German-austrian influences, mostly middle ages (40 +) and there were mostly couples without children there. A child care does not exist, we have no playground seen. There are hardly any children in the hotel ( despite ferient to our A mother and a family each equipped with small child and a family with two pre-school children). For children could so quickly be boring and their parents should other hotels prefer. Lots of guests guess probably therefore the atmosphere there. read more

    The hotel Danae can only booked with breakfast included are. At the pool-snack-bars is there-against payment-small dishes freshly prepared from to o'clock. For breakfast, there is daily self-service two different types of bread, packaged margarine, butter, different sorts of jams. In addition honey, cereals, marmokuchen, orange juice-concentrate, coffee, milk, cream, different sorts of bag tea, a sort of sliced -cheese ( mild) and four different types of sausage and every two days quark and hard boiled eggs. In the change, the whole accompanied by either cucumber or tomatoes or melons. So it is enough selection there, especially for a small, greek three star hotel. We found the whole but 'German', we should instead of four types of sausage, cheese slices, cakes and various marmelade rather daily cucumber, tomatoes, feta and olives had. But that is just personal matter of taste and the breakfast will certainly be the most regular customers fairly (, although some in spite of the selection still something to complain about had). To the snacks at the pool bar we cannot say much, were only once on the day of departure by the pool. As we have a greek salad eaten (5, -€), the very well tasted. The lobby and terrace attached bar offers all possible drinks and cocktails in a very wide selection of. Price: Cappuccino 3, -€, Ouzo 3,50 Euro, Mojito 5,. €, Cola 2, -€ On the terrace you can in the furniture of the lobby very comfortable sit and end the day. The atmosphere between the guests and also to the barkeeper Mike it was very relaxed.

    The service and the friendliness were great. We have often been asked how we were doing, as the day and, wether everything is okay. Also longer conversations we have from time to time run. Kiki at the front desk and Mike at the bar speak really good German ( and probably other languages). themi in the breakfast area and Anastasia at the pool-snack bar understand also something German and with the two cleaning ladies we by gestures and a few breaking into greek and English. At the cleaning of the rooms we had no complaints; this was mostly, while we were still for breakfast sat. About the handling of beschwerdenkönnen we anything say, since we did not have any. We but, that they seriously-as far as they are justified, and to rapid redress hard. We were after the first night a room changing estimates from 209 ( somewhat small directly over the entrance) to 214 ( larger room at the end of Ganges), although we did not afterwards had asked. We booked through other guests notice, that kiki the rapid availability of rental car organized, then directly in front of the hotel driven. Similarly certainly with other wishes or needs ( like for instance a doctor).

    There is luckily no animation and no disco nearby. From time to time the wind the noise of the bar-street of Faliraki-center over Stayed in the pool area we only once on the day of departure, since he made a clean impression and it was despite 12 to 15 people very quiet, some also took a nap. There were many loungers and some umbrella free. The loungers were maintained and stable, the umbrella not full of holes, left but a bit much sun through.     For us was the location perfect. The danae is very quiet, nevertheless is you-if you want - about minutes to the shopping-and barmeilen in Faliraki-center. For fkk -beach and kathara beach are both only few minutes on foot. The idyllic small port is in about 5 minutes walk. Afterwards begins the endless Faliraki-beach, initially very narrow (in front of the Taverne Maria and the hotel Lido star), but always wide weight. At regular intervals there are showers on the beach in the open and toilets. We are always on the at the beach tiled decking to to the center ran and us 2 chairs and a screen (8,- Euro per day) before the tavern dimitra rented, because we liked it there the best found: fine sand, no rocks in the water or stones at the edge of the tide, slow sloping and sufficient space to swim or for the aqua-jogging between the two barriers of the local wassersportstationen (aquarius and Apollo beach). Luckily there was no jet skiing -rental! The water is crystal clear, continue outside you can at some meters depth the reason see. There are several mini markets on the way to the kathara beach and to the center with appropriate prices. Instruction a larger (and less expensive) supermarket like for instance Migros we have not found and the main street between Faliraki and kalithea seen. The first taverns you will find on kathara beach and at the small port, more move at the beach and the asphalt street to the center back (more about that under tips more). To the airport there were about 25 kilometer; if you have a rental car or taxi drives probably under 30 minutes. The transfer by inclusive -tourist-bus lasts longer; in us each about 75 minutes, since we had respectively afterwards on the return journey still 10-12 other hotels grazed have. But it wasn't bad, so we always able to look at what hotel bunkers we are not again to :-) There are plenty of excursions to go on, for example from the small port by taxi-boat to Rodes city, Lindos, buchtensafari and so on or on own fist or tour operator otherwise where. We were for the 3 time on the island and this time on a beach vacation limited.

Small comfortable hotel! Very warm welcome and handling of all guests. Beautiful and decent pool, well-kept area around the whole establishment! Breakfast is greek, so rather simple. The breakfast terrace is even better, sun or partial shade, under palm trees with a view of the sea! Our recommendation: 20 minutes hike on the mountain to Anthony Quinn Bay, dreamlike small beach and fantastic for snorkeling! read more

Very friendly staff with very good German. The rooms are big enough, for six Euro per day you can an airco to book, that is very recommendable the southern temperatures. The hotel is very nicely located in the South Falirakis. Nearby there was a small supermarket for shopping. The normal beach, as well as the FKK -beach are in less than 5 minutes on foot reachable and very clean. The hotel has also a nice pool and a tennis court. The breakfast is simply but sufficient. The staff helps with great pleasure with all of our questions, for example rental ... car rental, tips for excursions, Tavernenempfehlungen. We are the following taverns recommend: Manolies, Maria, Lelis. From Faliraki you can excursions by bus or water taxi to Rodes City make. To the center from Faliraki one runs about 20 minutes altogether we can Hotel Danae highly recommend, they have everything that you need and everything necessary is easily reachable on foot and is a perfect Base to discover the island. read more

The Hotel Danae is a very small and nice hotel with friendly staff and beautiful pool. There is no luxury hotel, offers but much relaxation and friendly service. The breakfast should be somewhat more diverse. I would gladly come again. read more

Completely aware we return to the 'danae' decided, because we were in the spring very satisfied. It is a well-kept and nice hotel with a large proportion of regular guests ( Germany/ Austria)- which speaks for itself. Supply with breakfast more than enough. read more

    On the outskirts of the town from Faliraki located, apart from the turmoil, it is in the 'danae' very relaxing. On the street there are several restaurant and small supermarkets. For fkk - beach ( the only on Rhodos) it was about 5 minutes walk.

I can Hotel Danae in Faliraki - Rhodos heedlessly further-recommend. Although it could the breakfast little fancier, but this small negative by the quiet location, the pleasant staff and the clean rooms compensated. read more

The hotel is approximately 20 years old and features approximately 40 rooms in good renovated state. Catering is only breakfast provided. By the pool there were small dishes.     The hotel lies on the southern edge of Faliraki nearby the port, 15 minutes on foot the beginning of the 'trubelmeile' (and bank and bus), so for Faliraki very quiet. 10 minutes to the harbor and beach with several taverns. Rodes city is easy to reach, half an hour by bus or bit longer with the boat, which at the same time a beautiful trip is. Also the wonderful ( in the summer but also full ) Anthony-quinn bay is with a half hour clamber over the hill not far. ( beautiful kurzwanderung )

    In the quiet part of Faliraki, with the taxi about 20 minutes from the airport, Location. For fkk -beach about 5 minutes, to the other beaches approximately 5 to 10 minutes ( depending on how fast you are and beach section). Supermarkets just 3-4 in the immediate area and in Faliraki (10 to 15 minutes on foot) get everything your heart desires.

In August I was with a girlfriend and we were totally thrilled! Extremely friendly staff. Everybody speaks German so problems communicating there were not any. The pool was always empty, so that we every day comfortable at 9:30 o'clock to our loungers go, without that already all reserved with towels were. The only negative is, that the bed linen was not really clean respectively only the old used. Also the towels. They were partly very dirty. If you are interested in fine dining, is one of the best places to restaurant Kavos go. It is really near from the ... hotel and we had by far the tastiest food. And we have lots of restaurants try it.-) read more

We now come for 6 years and there are still many consequences! We look forward every time on a reunion with Kiki the soul of the hotel the always for all requests an ear, Mike the US every evening at the bar with wine, cocktails and so on and above all always in a good mood spoiled, Thami every morning for a small but kind breakfast provides, Anastasia the US daily with a smile, drinks, small snacks-the Greek salad is excellent in taste and fresh - supplies, the two nice room maids the most thorough cleanliness concerns and the boss ... Thomas the ensure, that we have many, many times can get! For us it is vacation with friends! Small tip for eat out - Marias restaurant by the beach from Faliraki - we go there daily food! Nice is the real warmth Marias (the boss ) great especially homemade, fresh Greek cuisine! Of the lobster the was excellent (they will pick you up fish and ocean creatures daily directly with the fishermen at the port. I had to wait for two days to the net went, but it was really worth it- leckerr!) up to Stuffed peppers, Kohlrouladen, stifado ( Zwiebelgulasch ) and much more. The hotel staff is extremely hospitable and you feel directly welcome. The rooms are sufficiently equipped with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast is not too many-sided, however it is the Greek standard. Wij Hadden een Leuce chamber met een uitzicht OP Zee, avenues ons bed which helaas aan de Kleine Kant, ( 140 centimeters) breed. Misschien but Leuk voor jonge, maar voor ons rivet sea. Naar het beach what het 5 minutes walk. Het breakfast is good, maar na 14 against what het still steets het zelfde, geen afwisseling. Het hotel zelf is heel sociable en het personeel is heel particular en hulpvaardig. Wij hebben een prima vakantie gehat! read more

With Obstacles we could nevertheless super a relaxing week the Danae spend. ( our original booked Donnerstagflug from Wien was deleted-let us not allow it, bays Ouch -flight separately ) There is always a warm, friendly front desk. A friendship connects almost all the guests with Kiki and Mike. Compared to the previous year were in foyer and bar area new furniture purchased. Every room with Moskitonetztüren equipped. Thanks to the many loyal regulars is the booking situation at times like this very satisfying. We were absolutely satisfied. A small fine hotel, something more than 3 star rating. Ideal for couples ( without children). Very lovely staff with good German language skills. Mostly German speaking guests. Pleasant atmosphere, especially on the terrace in the evening. Very clean rooms, more frequently changed regularly. Very well maintained pool with loungers and small tavern.
