The hotel is approximately 30-years-old but in good constructional condition. The pools with the large park invite to sojourn a. The Loro Park is within walking distance 10 minutes away. The about 4 kilometer away from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz is by bus there and back every hour free of charge. For hiking in the way at the sea and the nearby orotava valley. read more

The friendliness of all of the staff leaves small faults soon forget. I have since 1985 nearly annually to this hotel. I also this year very relaxing. read more

In 18 floors, each approximately 200 rooms sea and land. Very big complex. Our room on the ocean on the 14. floor (superior room 1408) was in good condition, balcony with a table and two chairs, however somewhat small. Ethernet port for free laptop internet access. It was cleaned daily. We had the half board. There were young families with children and larger groups. The average age was however probably over 50. different nationalities, but mostly german. read more

    We have actually just the breakfast and abendversorgung (half board ) taken into account. We the diversity enough. Breakfast was somewhat meager. The quality average. It was off-season, not fully booked and this was not every day a ' königsmenü' offered. We had already better four buffets. Very nice premises with a magnificent view of the sea for the food were valuable. Waiters all very friendly, the chef is on requests received, it was clean too. Then there was a pool and a bar. We needed it all and were glad, that we heard nothing from any entertainment noticed. But there were daily culture and künstlerausstellungen, pool aerobics, and so on

    We found the whole hotel very friendly (reception, manager, waiter, maid). The cleaning not thoroughly was did not bother us, we have almost nothing dirty, but it was cleaned daily. Laundry service ok, doctor is probably on the complex.

    We needed it all and were glad, that we heard nothing from any entertainment noticed. But there were daily culture and künstlerausstellungen, pool aerobics, and so on Good pool facilities, several pools in various levels, huge garden/parka situation in several levels. Atlantikwasserqualität did not correspond to our demands, internet access wi-fi or cable free.

    The hotel is located at western suburbs of Puerto de la Cruz, owns los realeos, directly on the lava rocks at the atlantikbrandung. The distance to the nearest beach (everything fine-grained black sand beaches) took about 1.5 kilometer. thereafter follow into eastern direction at least another 3 beaches. The beaches have the blue cachet of the eu for good water quality. The frequent north-wester form but on the water surface gray-brown schaumgebilde, the not properly working urban sewage plant close. The sewage plant below of the hotel made no odors, is however completely anonymous, not marked. It kindle also inn the local press debates on the functioning of the eu part-financed area, the completely Puerto de la Cruz cleaning. We have doubts and were only three times in the atlantic. The hotel has excellent pool area, the also not after chlorine smell. The problem the sewage treatment we did three aufenthän on Gran Canaria much more serious experienced (meter high foam). Photos of these entities on both islands i can provide. Every day drove several times a free hotel bus into town. The bus stop of the public bus is cke circa 1.5 kilometer, the direction of the hotel, right above the hotel. Nearest supermarket about 1.5 kilometer

The hotel building is a very large and high complex. The entrance area is beautiful bright and friendly decorated, you feel directly probably, also the reception staff are very friendly. There are so many lifts available, so you'll never have to wait long. The rooms are with very old but good furniture, unfortunately smells very strict in the rooms. For young people the hotel is definitely not suitable, the audience is about 50 +. From the room one has a great view over the sea or on the Teide and banana plantations. The pool area is really nice decorated and ... all is quiet. There is in the back part of the hotel a beautiful laid-out park, even with nudist area and fitness room with modern cardeogeräten. The location of the hotel is also great, one is immediately at loro park and in Puerto de la Cruz old town. So for older people I can this hotel really recommend, young people should this hotel dial, if you really are a lot on the way and a nice capacity for sleeping search. read more

About 18 floor high concrete block is directly at the steep coast north-west of Puerto de la Cruz in a rather quiet residential area. The probably in the 70. Years constructed hotel partly renovated, but you can see it in many places tooth the time. The lobby is friendly, the elevators come from 2001, but in many places were broken just with aluminium foil with whiteout. Altogether the hotel appears to be but clean. Attached you will find a generous and beautiful garden area with many botanic plants and idyllic resting places, including nudist - area. read more

    We had a so-called superior room with free view of the sea, the probably renovated. The balcony was very small. An airco was apparently later installed, because a ugly box under the ceiling on the bed proved air conditioning. The service was accordingly poor. The door frame in some places were chipped and were roughly repaired. The bathroom was small and the furniture just. The bathtub by a temporarily attached shower curtain deferred. The bathroom fittings were rather older and already dull by probably limescale. Towels were changed daily. Internet had we by cable free. In the hotelhalle there was wi-fi.

    During our stay stayed only a few guests in the hotel, mainly German and spanish. The age structure rather 55 +. While we were there was the main restaurant open. We booked half board. The offer at the breakfast buffet was sufficient, but not that ample, as you often in upscale hotels experienced. Coffee gave it only from the automat and needed getting used to, the bread rolls were hard and you need already feast teeth. The bread against was very tastefully. Sausage-and cheese repeated regularly, egg dishes reasonable, but it fell on, that end of breakfast time was not any longer filled up. The selection evenings was also enough. I personally but the variations missed, and except for one, there is always the same salads. Tasty but there nothing to complain about.

    The service seemed to us altogether rather a bit impersonal, however the employees are friendly and are provided with at least at the front desk over good German language skills. The cleaning of the rooms was cleaned every day and was so reasonable.

    The hotel is situated right at the sea on a steep coast. There however, you can do not bathe, but needs for nearest dark sandy beach around 20 minutes away on foot. The surf is partially very strong and so is the baden for children not suitable. In the immediate area there is no restaurants or shops, so that in any case a rental car worth it. However drove several times daily a free shuttle bus to Puerto de la Cruz, where you got everything finds, that you need and also shop can walk

As a family we had only overnight stay with breakfast booked which were also good, because the f was very monotonous. Hotel was in a clean Condition, service very friendly. Pool 'smelled' after sewage A hotel, that is outdated. read more

The room maids should be better the cleanliness of the rooms eighth. It was not thoroughly cleaned, unfortunately. The beds are very old and out of the way. Nothing for people with back problems. Very friendly staff and great garden- and pool area. Very clean in the outdoor area and in the public Vacate of the hotel. read more

A large closet-which is also on the way to the Teide loose on the coast can identify. Details i, they have already been described several times well. You can see the old age of the hotel and it is definitely a clearly visible investment, especially in the rooms. 4 star not. the guest structure was during our stay (with a exception) in German and (with two exceptions) 70 +. the hotel was however hardly occupied. in my opinion you should decide what this Maritim hotel is. And then but also time to cash in hand and renovate( for example new ... mattresses, Blankets and carpets, new TV, Wi-Fi in every room.), in the current condition of the hotel is pretty good for the brand. read more

    we had a standard room facing the sea, safe, small TV with the most important German programs and air conditioning (which we didn't use). The building is old, seemed a bit filthy and must be replaced. Details as a defective remote control (the maid gave us a a other room given) and a wobbling Shaving point, it was probably in the management of attention given to the details missing. cleaning of the rooms with small downsides okay.

    We were glad, because of earlier Reports, only breakfast booked. That in itself was hard on the edge of the acceptable. Little choice, hardly a variation, to cold presented fruit (mostly from the cans). drinks from the machine, the juices this unacceptable. And if the machine was empty then time, was also not refilled. There is also the staff the most vulnerable desire. and the chef needs an English breakfast show, Dami he knows what this means and how it prepared should be. also here, they're saving in the wrong place. the large bar opposite the restaurant is in the service and offer reasonable; very friendly waiters.

    the staff were on the whole friendly and helpful, especially at reception and room service. You could get by with German at reception well done. However obviously with a minimum of staff worked. our room was around 3:00 P. M. not ready (allegedly because of the departure of a group, that was probably the only this month ☺. No luggage service, a ancient, inconvenient Koffertrolley because you must organize themselves. A private travel office in the house, however with bad open area times( workday 14-17 hours). When we asked the lady then found, it has reliable our day trip (ferry and rental car) to Gomera organized. On the receipt/Bill promised credit card) wait I however today still. the fitness studio is equipped with ancient, partly dangerous devices furnished, we have not used. garage and safe( pleasant large) will extra. The drinks packages can one forget.

You can see the old age of the hotel and it is definitely a clearly visible investment, especially in the rooms. 4 star not. the guest structure was during our stay (with a exception) in German and (with two exceptions) 70 +. the hotel was however hardly occupied. in my opinion you should decide what this Maritim hotel is. And then but also time to cash in hand and renovate( for example new mattresses, Blankets and carpets, new TV, Wi-Fi in every room...), in the current condition of the hotel is pretty good for the brand.

The method you shouldn't be put off, by the high-rise form you either had a great view of the pool and the large wonderful romantic park, or a breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean with cruise flavor. The Maritim in Tenerife is on the first view not really nice. It is a massive, blue concrete block, not very inviting and quite old works. The is however actually only from the outside so, from inside everything is there completely different. the average age in the hotel was rather high, and mainly I have German guests seen. the hotel has a massive garden area with thousands of different plants... For the botanist friends really recommendable nonetheless! read more

    When the variety of rooms at the Maritim Tenerife you have to be careful. There is normal and superior rooms. the normal rooms are usually not good idea for, because they are old and not renovated. we stayed for our honeymoon for a superior room with a view of the sea decided. The room was clean, big enough and well equipped. The bed was incredibly comfortable! It had however also a few shortcomings: the cupboard doors were partly not correctly set, so the door did not lock. The carpet and the armchair were in certain places stained. The bathroom was not really nice- ripped tiles, Moldy odor and lime on the mountings. I would with a renovated superior room better bathroom... But oh well, you washed anyway only in it, or? every room has a big enough balcony with table and chairs, a good air conditioning there was also. Of course there was also a TV and a small mini bar, which one subject to a charge fill can. But we were even when fridge used. the safe is subject to a charge but very spacious. Both are with country and with a view of the sea book. Land view was a little cheaper, but a magnificent view can be seen from two sides. Either it overlooks the garden and on Puerto de la Cruz, or just the open sea. the view of the sea is not everyone's thing-depending on the waves slap the waves on the rocks and accordingly Loud is then ☺.     luckily we only breakfast booked. The breakfast was in our eyes a four-star hotel not worthy, because I expected more. Every morning there was the same. Dry Breadrolls, every day the same packaged sausage/cheese, a few Cornflakes and diluted milk. The dispenser juices are (like in every hotel) not really delicious and it gave also only coffee/ Coacoa from the machines. Fresh fruit there were hardly any, if, then from the can... in the marmelade you have to be careful. The label of sorts was every day incorrect ^ ^-you should know the strawberry jams not yellow is, or? But perhaps as only a very fun guests a joke allowed. if you are not the first breakfast buffet would like to be, it is nearly impossible to get a table (and the, although the hotel by far was not booked up)-and if you find it, then it was still not cleared and also not cleaned-because there are the staff, the in the remaining mostly bad tempered were, really time. from time to time you are lucky to get, what exactly on the window to the sea is-there one has a beautiful view for breakfast. there was also a 'real' restaurant in the hotel, which I can also recommend.     the hotel lies between Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos, in green surroundings North Tenerife. It is located on a cliff by the sea, which made it of course a excellent view of the sea has (naturally only, if you have the appropriate room Bay). To the next beach, the Playa Jardin walk about 15 minutes. We stayed at the July guest at the Maritim Hotel Tenerife. We loved it there. We had a room in the category comfort and only booked with breakfast. The garden area was large and very well maintained.
