A beautiful hotel providing everything you need for peaceful holiday. We enjoyed our 1 week stay to the maximum, but what made our holiday extraordinary special was the staff who treated us excellently every day. Special thanks to Essam, the restaurant manager, whose professional, caring and friendly attitude towards us made us feel amazing. Excellence is the most appropriate word to describe this 5-star Luxury hotel. Perfection, excellence and luxury in every way. What you see in the pictures of the hotel does not even come close to reality, we were overwhelmed when we entered the hotel. We stayed in junior suite 1456 on the 4th floor with an absolute magnificent view on the garden, pool, beach and sea. The suite was extremely spacious with a king size bed and superb mattress, beautiful bathroom with tub, separate shower with large shower head, closet space to stay at least a month, and contained everything you ... could wish for or need. The other Deluxe rooms occupied by members of my family were also spacious and great. Much bigger then expected. We stayed at the hotel on an all inclusive base and the food and drinks were great and they offered a great variety on a daily basis. We had dinner at Restaurant Alexander which is a cosy restaurant on the premises along side the beach. Wow what a magnificent view and wonderful food. The pool area with lazy river was beyond our imagination. Clean and beautifully landscaped. Comfortable beds beside the pool and the same goes for the beach. We were told that the hotel was fully booked, but we wondered where all these guests were. There is a lot of room for personal space and never have we laid back to back with strangers as you sometimes can. I guess we can go on and praising this hotel, but the biggest compliment has to go out for the staff working for the hotel. Whether it's the excellent service of the reception, Ali who cleaned our room, the people from the restaurants at the pool, beach or at Alexanders, people working at the spa and gym, Soudi who took pictures and Mohamed from watersports. They were all friendly, smiling, kind, professional and made us feel very special! My gratitude goes out to Ahmed from the reception, who was always there when we needed him, always friendly and very professional, never did I have the feeling that what we asked was too much. There is one more person whom I especially want to thank and that is Mohamed Sayed from the Bwala pool restaurant and bar. His professional approach, friendlyness, service mindedness and kindness stood out. Excellent service with a smile! Thank you all for making our holiday so special, that we are certainly going to return to your excellent hotel. The check in/out process very convenient. Front desk staff very professional and hospitable. The Food & Beverage department in the hotel is incomparable to other 5 star hotels in Egypt. The variety of food is impressive especially in the breakfast buffet. The “All inclusive” concept is very well implemented and up to the expectations. Services that made our stay special: •The concept of the Jacuzzi Island (outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna) with very nice and relaxing chaise longue area is a key relaxing factor during my holiday. •Wet facial towels provided and eye glass cleaning in the beach area. ... •Daily pianist in the lobby area •Violinist in the dinner buffet •Daily walk rounds and direct face to face communication from the guest relations department to ensure optimum guest satisfaction All add to the convenience of the resort, as I wouldn't need to go out of it for anything extra. As repeat guests we know what to expect and anyhow, each time we are positively surprised with the most agreable climate, the calm suroundings and the clean dry air. The hotel was busy with a lot of families with young children. This time of the year the main swimming pool is rather cold (20 C°). A great plus is the beautiful and well kept garden. The free internet connection was very slow and getting connected to the server often not possible. The solution was to buy a Sim card and download capacity from the Egyptian provider Vodafone.     The in house doctor is permanent on duty and this was very helpful. Thank you doctor Wadid! The overall friendliness of the whole staff is remarkable good. They all understand enough English and if not, they just read your mind to see what you want. Special thanks to the Chefs and to the great team of mister Wael.

    Very near the airport which results in a 15 minutes drive. On the other hand, Hurghada airport is a disaster. Better turn into Zen when leaving the hotel for the airport. Avoid using the bathrooms in the airport.

It's the nice hotel I was there stegenberger there's everything is good the rooms the food all stuff is very kindly . And the animation team is very nice and I don't forget. Animator Gino he's very friendly and so active and we enjoyed with him in actvity . In morning gym . And. Water gym . And volleyball . And. . Latino dance . And step aerobic . That's a great hotel. Especially would like to express my gratitude to the young man on the reception Ahmed Farag. I had a really big inconvenience during his shift, it was late at night. Still, he solved all my problems easily quickly, didn't make me feel uncomfortable in any way,smiled and was very helpful and honestly saved my vacation. And did not get annoyed and angry, even though I probably created him a lot of problems. Despite the perfect job and great professionalism, it is always nice to meet such great people all around the world. Hope the guy ... will get in life what he deserves. Overall, very satisfied with the hotel, the location, rooms and food are great. All the staff is well-trained, and everything is on the highly professional level. Great place for children, my daughters loved the hot pool, as well as the children club. I would say a perfect place for a family rest, will definitely come back once more! We are repeat guests at the hotel and we have stayed for three and half weeks. We are from Slovakia and I would like to let you know what I think about this hotel. It is in a beautiful environment with a romantic garden,luxurious golf court and the longest swimming pool in Huirghada. The rooms are beautifuly equipted with everything for the human needs. They have also space for disabled people which makes it easy for them to go around the resort. They have beautiful facilities which are very enjoyable. In the hotel there is also perfect SPA where ... you feel very relaxed and it makes your body to get all the positive energy. The last but not least all the staff is very helpful nice and eager to help. PS:It is as safe place and you dont need to be worried about anything. We stayed over christmas at the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel. It was fully booked, but we had never the feeling, that it would have been. Due to the size of the hotel area the guests very spread out well. There was plentiful (very beautiful) beach chairs with wind protection at the ocean and in the very well-kept hotel area. The heated sea water pool was fantastic and not at all crowded. The weather was sunny, usually a lighter wind, but not unpleasant. The staff was very helpful. Even special wishes are easily from the german hotel manager has been ... fulfilled. The met daily somewhere in the hotel - a good sign here the boss himself.-) The holiday was very nice, not pushy, festive and in a limited wonderful sequence (food, speeches, entertainment). It has been taken, that linguistically appropriate guests together can. The otherwise very perfect and delicious evening buffet again exceeded. We were now in hindsight also seen in the new year's eve party been included in the price. In the all-inclusive and half-board arrangement is also a twice dinner in the two restaurants (1 time french, 1 time lebanese cuisine) included. One should definitely try it. Was a wonderful experience. We also have the area off the beaten path with bicycles explored and can only recommend. Here, you got to the country and its people only really know. The friendliness is the egyptians in the blood, although (or, because?) Offers simple circumstances. On our tour (Hurghada is not too big), we have other hotels (also 5 *) in the local area. The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach has about 400 rooms. The condition of the hotel and the cleanliness was very good. Internet access is available in the hotel lobby free of charge. To my travel time there were 17 nations in the hotel and the average age was very mixed. read hotel review

    The rooms are beautifully furnished. The condition of the furniture was okay. The decor of the room has various furniture, flat screen tv, balcony, air conditioning, minibar, kettle for tea or coffee preparation, telephone, etc. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower stall. Only the glass door to the bathroom was a bit annoying.

    In the restaurants there was always a good atmosphere and the quality and quantity of the food was very good. The cleanliness in the restaurants was exemplary. I admit - i like the al dau. Such a hotel one would now probably won't build. It is in front of the crash 2009 planned, then but only in use, so not as old as it looks. Despite good care it is a bit old, especially the room furnishing and the bathrooms need more than cosmetic. The hotel is in spite of crisis due to good management is quite good busy and what value is an excellent offer.     Circa 40-50 square meter large, good and comfortable beds, modern flat screen tv, a few simple chairs were moved in order to and balcony. Mini bar and a water kettle. In the specialty restaurants (there are only two, a lebanese and a fine dining restaurant) the meal is not particularly great.     There is a main restaurant as well as two further specialty restaurants on the premises. Moreover a poolside bar, as well as bars the lobyybereich. The quality of the food/drinks were mostly not satisfactory. We both have no very high anspsrüche on the food in hotels, but don't expect that the food freshly prepared and of a certain quality. The choice was large, but could have been better the scale should apply, less is more. Basic food/drinks, such as pasta sauces, coffee among other things, teilungenießbar. Furthermore, there was too little local dishes, which is why we are here surprising find, that the assessment of the food often very good one. The staff from the hotel's diving centre was very pushy and sometimes insulting us. In addition to obtrusive staff, that a photo shoots, manicures and new hairstyles persuade wanted.

We had an unforgettable dream vacation for a fair price in a German-managed excellent hotel - we would love to stay there again. During our stay there were 17 guest nations, like a big family in a harmonious atmosphere with great ambiance. People at home still ask about the security situation! Why, actually? Because the media doesn't report objectively about the vacation areas (aside from Cairo and North Sinai). Unfortunately, negative reports sell better. We didn't just feel safe - it is safe! Very exclusive, right on the private beach located hotel with over 300 rooms and suites, almost all have sea views. The rooms are very spacious and have a separate walk-in closet, which i loved. In the room there is no wireless internet, but in the lobby you can enjoy the whole day, if you want, surf the internet for free. The hotel is very elegant and cleanliness prevails in all areas. You can only book with breakfast, or you have to decide for half board, which we had and totally sufficient, or for the hungry, there are also all-inclusive. The ... guests were very international, and very pleasant contemporaries, which we with the common sport animations could find. The average age of the adults in this time, about 45 years to have been. What i very happy, i this time actually with a much older audience expecting. Every day at the beach there was a young lady and cleaned the sonnenbrlillen, brought cool, free drinks and fresh obstspiesse, whereby always a nice conversation followed. Just great! With our half board so during the day never hungry on. The service staff at the beach and at the pool was very friendly and helpful, especially nice we found Achmet Ali from the recreation team.     The hotel is from the airport, about 20 minutes, to reach. Aircraft noise is not to hear. Hurghada is easy to reach with lots of shopping and restaurants. Public transport possibilities i have not detected, but as already written one can for little money with the public taxi, at the reception can order (we had a very reliable taxi driver 'Shady' ( taxi nr, 600 tel. +2 01110424201) the us threats and also punctually on the minute again picked us up. The unrest, the many tourists from a Egypt trip been shutting out, we can only say, that we ourselves very surely felt no signs of abuse experienced.
