We often have a rest in this hotel. And every time have warm and good words about this place. Quietly, respectable hotel, if guest have any problems team of hotel ready help in any time. Very good kids club, Massaouda (and also Asma and Ksusha) you are the best. And very pleasant that in hotel stay good animation team, Jackson, Tony, Santos, Momo, they make our holiday better and more interesting. And so pleasant that this team not change already long time.
Good hotel with big and good territory, nice swimming pool, sea will good for people with children because ... sea on the beach of hotel not deep, for us its also big plus.
Guestrelation Anna and Katya everyday work and ready solve any question.
Strange work guide from coral, i understand that its work, but i dont understand why in this time they even didnt give papers for registration if you dont want stay on the meeting about excursion. read more

Everything was fine except when I was leaving the hotel we stayed in the lobby for like 20-30 min, and we were a group of doctors in a meeting5 children were playing around a small fountain in the lobby (they did nothing wrong).there was a guy from the security, he kept staring at them in a creepy way for like 10 min and then he moved to the guy at the reception and pointed at them.I was watching him.I was afraid myself.I think they should revise this person for his staring and pointing because if ... we were foreigners I think he will just smile at us whatever we do. read more

The hotel has us already on arrival, really enjoyed. The first impression was very positive. Everything very clean.
The only thing we felt as very negative, we were for the 1. time in this hotel and nobody bothered us our room shown. We are certainly 20 minutes around wrong. The was very annoying, it already after 20 o'clock and we all a long day behind us. Finally, we have it but still found. read more

The hotel is no real Steigenberger more, but there was only the names for it. It was on an arab sold. The guests are apart from german, dutch, swiss and russians also arabs of fully to halbverschleiert. It was the food adjusted. Five star food does not exist. Although the kitchen under german management is everything was somewhat overcooked. The geschmackshintergrund is probably another as you are used to. However after two weeks repeated everything but several times.
The service is everywhere in the hotel good, wether at the pool or at the beach, you get drinks served.
Diagonally across ... the street is a cleopatramarkt, in which one everything to buy can buy, which very pleasant is. With the numerous dealers around you get however only ripped off, especially what cigarettes are concerned. This should on the way there on the airport. This is much cheaper and safe than the traders. As you will not want to get out to get you which bought.
The bus tour to Hurghada for 17 €is a promotional trip and therefore not recommendable. read more

This was our 5. trip to Egypt, we have, for the first time our vacation in the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach worn. The rooms are big and very clean, as the whole hotel area. The friendliness and responsiveness of the entire staff is second to none-just excellent. The selection and preparation of the food was exceptionally good, there was every day rich variety. A special experience was from our point of view the 4-gänge menu in the restaurant 'alexanders '. You can absolutely recommend.
The huge pool area and the garden are very clean and tastefully designed. Also in the ... pool area is the service unique, there are drinks, damp towels to wash your hands bebracht, even the cleaning of the sunglasses is offered.
The fine level and ambience is reflected in my view also on the guest structure down, there is no unpleasant noticeable in terms of the verhlten by guests from other nationalities.
Finally, i would like to say, that this holiday very nice and relaxing. For certain we will this hotel in a next vacation again.

A super relaxing week with great weather, varied food and beautiful days at the sea (pool too cold), there thanks to private view and wind protection at each berth and a great service (thanks to Ramy!) Directly at the couch totally relaxed. Also as a woman alone not a problem.
Room was large and very clean, the food by evening different theme nights always differently (opportunities but also in 2 restaurants on the hotel to eat), breakfast was always the same, but nevertheless large buffet, always fresh fruits and a fresh omelet station.
I would definitely come again! read more

The hotel is wavy in the wide built and has 5 floors (whereas the ground floor and first floor is). The building includes a spacious large area with a great pool area and a 9-hole golf course. Main restaurant with outdoor, disco and 2 lobby bars are located in the building. Other bars/restaurants in the hotel.
Mixed and friendly public, lots of regular guests. read more

Never we are so spoiled, every wish was fulfilled, before we it had. Pool and beach were brilliant and we even had a trip outside recommended, and a butterfly, which we are not really somewhat unimaginable, then but possibility-butterfly called and were very positively surprised. The stay was again great, because the staff is also again very friendly, especially to be highlighted are the waiters in the dining room, as well as at the beach and in the lobby bar.
The only what really bothered us was that you in the lobby at which bar you sit it cannot do a page as nichtraucherlopi to make. Because it is unacceptable the cigarette smoke the other a zuatmen. As every evening the pianist it is to give up if you every evening the same sound must.
As the amitassionsprogramm in the evening is for older people ... unacceptable, there should be the manager something else solution, so like in other hotels.
You are not drunk that you in the evening at 9:00 o'clock to the room must go. And should definitely not his.
We are already many a time in the hotel as guests and always 3 weeks. read more

The Steigenberger al dau hotel offers exactly, which is under a relaxing vacation in a 5 star hotel expected:
The area is wonderful and very neat.
The rooms are big, quiet and tastefully decorated.
The staff are friendly, competent and always cooperative. (we english spoken, so i german no statement do). The offered food (half board) is varied, the food tastes great. In the main restaurant daily changing buffet, in two theme restaurants set multi-course menus, all in the booked half board is included.
To the hotel has a dive center, also there is friendly, competent and well organized.
'extras' ... as their own bathrobes, wärmflaschenservice in winter and live music every evening round the positive thing full picture from.
Only fly in the ointment for water rats in the winter only a small pool heated, the rest are with 13 degrees water temperature somewhat only for the strong swimmers. The red sea offers with 23 degrees a good alternative. read more

Amazing hotel. Friendly and dedicated staff. To point out are Petra and Kristin, the always quickly and competent were helpful.
