We had a seaview room (room 120) with a great view on the offshore sawadi islands. Pleasant large room. Room clean, infrastructure already a bit older. Room by locked door of the neighbor room separated, therefore quite noisy. Wi-fi only in lobby (free), also computer corner including printer (free). The guests were mostly germans and italians, little swiss and french. Mostly divers. read more

The hotel is perfect for a quiet beach holiday in a casual atmosphere. Recommendable is before a trip, because the hotel is very remote and activities only about the hotel can be arranged. The buffet during dinner was excellent. Every night another motto the quality of the dishes was not to beat. read more

The hotel lies directly at the sandy beach and there is enough chairs and umbrellas and lots of space to relax. The location is but very isolated, in the area is nothing else.
The rooms were newly renovated, well equipped, clean, very big, with a furnished terrace and the bathroom had a large rain shower.
The breakfast was a bit sparse, but it was the dinner in buffet form really excellent, there were enough seats in the outdoor area and the alcoholic beverages were still affordable. The service staff was very attentive and friendly, already on the 2. evening knew ... each room number by heart and which you probably wanted to drink.

Altogether it concerns a middle class hotel with in need of renovation facilities.
Very well organized, the Extradivers-guided diving, the outstanding on our wishes was received. Furthermore is praiseworthy is the friendly staff of the restaurant and wellness center. The fitness. Area we didn't use.
The rooms (we were in a ocean side view -bungalow building) are big enough, are however very spartan. The furniture have already some years behind itself. The bathroom is furnished nicely, however also here the furnishing old and needs some repair. For example it is with a rainshower, the however only partially worked. The seals ... the shower were broken. The shelves are crooked angebraucht the verziehrungs - mozaiksteine lack partly. In the room have the fridge and the hairdryer a flea market-character (yellowed).
The cleaning of the rooms was poor. Our bathroom included mountings, washbasin and duschabtrennwand (glass) were not at all cleaned. The broken seal of the toilet-flushing is the room service not at all noticed. This was only on demand 'repaired '. Throughout the week worked our telephone not. The problem left until the departure not eliminate. The nachschränkchen and the table in the room were not dusted or wiped.
The hotel lies one hour from muscat; there is however always the possibilities with a taxi, the from the reception could be organized, in the capital to drive. The transfer from /to the airport is punctual. read more

Stay at the al sawadi beach resort extra divers diving station from 1-12-2012 until 8-12-2012 with 10 tg (each 2 times per day).
The hotel completely under german leadership-chef -manager and chef Thomas. Wi-fi in the main building free.
Entry with welcome drink and immediate room assignments, as well as luggage room bring unburocratic and quick. Hotel circa to 50% booked, double room right single room with extra charge of 270 Euro/week, what i found little justified think. Room large enough, a bit worn, but it was good and equipped with everything, even outlets adapter (english electrical plug me 3 ... finger ), double bed with 2 times bed sheets and 2 times ceilings. Only thing missing was the kettle for tea (i have always own). Cleaned daily, not always thoroughly (washbasin for example), otherwise good and friendly. Bedlinen 1 time week. Kilimaanlage adjustable and good, tv with ZDF, RTL and RTL II. Shower and sanitary are modern in very good condition. Free safe.
Distance to the main building, restaurant, beach and diving basis not long, the complex is but very spacious with a lot of green, is located on the tip of a small peninsula, rarely so which saw, clean and tidy. Become momentary colorful tiles on the tenements appropriate.
The food is for 3.5 stars hotel simply excellent, lamb, beef, schaff, hüner, fish - everything tasted simply good. Uin our group was also a chef and has the work his colleagues very highly rated, all standarden are met, very clean, friendly, good dishes and cloth napkins.
No animation, is rather uin a beach, divers and sports hotel not necessary, but good fitness center.
Furthermore recommendable travel agency Oman adventure tours with Markus mason as chef and travel guide. With us 2 time tours ( kanyoning and jeep-tour carried out, as well as althauptstadt nizwa-visit)-super and very inexpensive. You should definitely make, if 1-2 days free from the diving are.
A mosquito-spray at this time of the year recommendable, as well as long house for city tours and sightseeing. read more

The resort is very quiet directly at the beach. Outside of the complex is as good as nothing. If you are looking for a quiet relaxed vacation want to spend, for example after Dubai to Abu Dhabi can here get a good rest. With a rental car you can also the area explore. On the possibilities for excursions was in other reviews reported in detail. From the hotel itself lots of activities in the free time offered.
The complex is really very nice. The breakfast and dinner were very good. Under room was also very beautiful, clean and spacious. ( ... room 139 ) we had a bungalow on the seaside, what I only recommend can. Was not so nice, the our room a connecting door to the neighbor had. The neighboring room was 2 times and you heard quite clear neighbors. Luckily there were only 2 days, therefore it was with us at the other very quiet. Perhaps there is also room without connecting door. (i would recommend )
But it was a really great vacation the resort. Many thanks at all staff.! We would have gladly stayed longer. read more

For diving vacation well, since base direct in the hotel is. On foot otherwise nothing reachable. Staff really nice. Rooms are simple and clean. Money for view of the sea you can save. Our vacation in Alsawadibeach resort was one of the most relaxing vacation we have ever made. Diving great thanks to Nicki and Markus. The food was always very sufficient, unfortunately, far too much selection, you are not to come to try everything. The huge large beach perfect for swimming. Small negative point: the Omani weekend cars along the beach-which was unfortunately not so great is. A must in this hotel is the spa, very great massage and at a reasonable price. The hotel offers tours. Our Muscat tour was great: great Mosque, Sultan palace and shop in the souq. We ... can only say the Oman is fantastic. We will definitely go back again any time. read more

We had a great week with a lot of fun and water sports. We are paddled, snorkeling and gekitet. The quality of the meals in the restaurant is great. Since January 2011 the hotel is under the management of a German diving school.
You need a car to on each from the hotel away. read more

We were with our rental car nine days in Northern Oman and after the visit to the cities of rustaq and Barka a night in this hotel. And the were totally enough. The hotel is for tourists, the not want to dive, in my opinion not suitable. The area is absolutely grim, until you can travel approximately 60 minutes Muscat, our room was on 2 star level (see pictures) decorated. It cut me, why you are staying longer than a night should, it is because, we expected nothing of this exciting land, except for a sumptuous filled evening buffet (very ... good) or a darker Elsa ndigen endlessly long beach, the partly dirty was, although tried one, but unprofessional staff (except kitchen). It is a small construction on the hotel area, dirt around and the view from the veranda of the accommodation proves: dull and dreary here! The furniture was run down, the safe in the room did not, wires hanging from the walls, the sliding door was only with violence open the bathroom etc. was recently renovated and did not fit, the rest take off ambience. Probably the acceptable price attracts a crowd of some duration tourists (primarily compatriots) there. Is it not understandable to me. The surrounding area offers for not divers also nothing. For us it was only a stopover on the drive to nizwa, so this was bearable for a night. Unfortunately was there, when we arrived, and was not to think tide swimming.
This hotel is not 4-star category of. Oman has to offer the better, as we experience. read more
