The hotel is getting old. My single room was very, very cramped but the furnishing was okay. In the old and uncomfortable bathroom but you got anxieties. For 50 euros per night it was too expensive. Parking outside was very bad. read more

The Juncker's Hotel Garni is a pleasant place to stay in East Berlin Friedrichshain. The hotel has 30 rooms (single, double and Multi-bed rooms) and is located relatively quiet (mostly courtyard) in the Grünbergerstr. 21. The young nightlife around the Simon-roof road with many bars and restaurants could be reached in a few minutes. Furthermore, the hotel junckers is close to the famous/notorious club Berghain. The train station Warsaw street in about seven minutes walking distance.
The rooms are small and appropriately furnished with LCD tv, clock radios, free Wi-Fi (password inquire at front desk). Unfortunately, there is no electronic ... in-room safe. The mattresses were a little hard. The bathroom is small. Everything was clean and didn't seem worn. The staff was very friendly.
The breakfast was fine (large plate of butter, becel, various meats, cheeses, pickles, tomatoes, bread basket with different types of bread and black bread, 1 glass of orange juice, yogurt, and boiled eggs, tea and coffee from pump cans at the bar). The jam and honey were packed. For the start into the day everything was okay, but just 'standard-breakfast quality'. The room prices are fair (double room for euro 73, -; single room for €59, -), the breakfast costs EUR 8, -per person extra. For a city stay with Berlin Charme without too much decor/design/room size a highly recommended Hotel. read more
