On arrival in the hotel stops in vain for a porter or porter.
The very friendly ladies at the front desk with the charm a very good impression.
The room was very nice decorated and you feel like in a fairy tale. Rose petals on the bed and a small birthday present for my wife stood on the table.
The view from the room 303 is very nice. The bright room with large windows and two balconies was very stylish decorated.
The dinner, a 6-course menu with only the wrong bottle of wine and the small häppchen, was not at ... all to my taste. I explained to the ladies, that i don't like fish. Nevertheless, i was in the soup salmon is served. When we then with hungry stomach rose and wanted to leave, we were loudly back called. 'it was the drinks bill open!' Although i a voucher had, the really for everything should pay the price, i felt in the rest of the guests as a bit just provided.
In the room arrived, we filled in the form for ' breakfast in the room' from.
Twice big breakfast with different jams a 25 with coffee, milk, cereal, etc. At 10:00 o'clock.
The next morning we waited in vain for our breakfast at 10:00 o'clock. Only when i at 10:20 o'clock the front desk called, came about 5 minutes later the 'rich breakfast!'
The rich breakfast with jams turned out to be a total letdown.
When i the service asked, whether this is all, i was in sharp tone told, this is what i ordered would have!
5 half slices of bread, two half croissants, a apfelmuskonfitüre, even honey and jam. This is the 'rich breakfast with various jams a 25-per person including sales tax!'
We were very dissapointed and wanted then just go home.
I wanted my wife for my birthday a joy. This was probably in the pants.
My wife has recently management in Montreux studied. Her you could therefore not so fast on the make.
A shame. But maybe the waiters simply a bad weekend and the frustration got the guest to feel?! Perhaps we in a next visit more luck and we are served, which we order and must not both times with hungry stomach from the table. read more

I found the stay in the Hotel Montana as very pleasant and i would have liked to stay longer than only one night we could have stayed longer.
To criticize i have nothing. What may say is, is, that the food is excellent, for the absolute immediate vicinity but still that certain something is missing. read more

Everything was excellent, we had the -course menu for dinner booked. An amuse bouche the menu still complete and perfect made. Great value for money, also on the wines.
The next morning were the breakfast buffet (saturday, 10:00 a. m.) unfortunately already quite empty and not refilled and all the tables were with used dishes ... and napkins occupied, which led, that we about 5 minutes stood around and waiting for, until a table for us covered. read more

Our night in the ART DECO Hotel MONTANA Luzern is really recommendable! Very beautiful room (we had the penthouse spa suite)-we loved the decor and the equipment - great view at the lake and city Luzern, also a good dinner at la scala, a breakfast buffet that you should not leave out, and all of this accompanied by very friendly and attentive staff. The 'Montana' offered us everything, what we for a paarweekende without children have liked. The suites are although costly, but no wishes unfulfilled. Private outdoor jacuzzi with a view in the mountains and Luzern, b+o music system, espresso machine, automatic air freshener after wunscht, comfortable seating to chill out, great light concept. We were blown away. The size the course of the evening menus (included wine ) in the restaurant 'scala' were not too large, but the quality was excellent. Nightcap we took in live music in the smoker's bar a. Thanks to the great ventilation system was for me ... as a non-smoker stay in the bar not a problem. The morning buffet was until the last minute rich and left nothing to be desired. In short: if you're on a high level joint paarzeit to spend, the Montana most warmly recommended. read more

My husband and i (and dog) now have three times in the Montana Luzern stayed in. Every time everything was really great. We always had a corner room with a wonderful view at sea, mountains, and city. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. For our dog there was a ceiling and a bowl. I think it great that the rooms where dogs allowed a package floor-then everything will remain clean for the next guest. The coffee in the morning was excellent. I can only good letter about the hotel. The location is also fantastic. read more

Whenever i in business in the room Luzern have to do, as in the Montana. The atmosphere is quiet and informal, the service and the kindness of the staff gives me always the feeling 'after hause' to come. Besides are the beds just perfect - for my taste, there is a clever hair dryer and sometimes i have a room with a view of the lake. Heart, what else do you want. read more
