Before moving on to the actual assessment will, i would like to a first mention: i am very often in business and spend my nights in hotels of any type. The small guesthouse to 5 stars hotels everything is there, subject to availability proximity to work. I would like to be very frugal designate, accordingly avoid the comparison of the different hotel categories, as the strengths and priorities differently are.
And this is precisely the point: what me in a star hotel not so, let alone would bother, i can in a star hotel already times bitterly burp. And really ... a shame, then, if such a hotel also flaws noticed, even in lowest hotel category not acceptable.
In this respect, the Hotel Palace in Berlin more disappointed, than ever another hotel any price range.
The receptionist at the reception was very friendly, even if my room not finished yet was. But i was immediately a different room assigned and my luggage from a very nice lady on that brought. In the room arrived much first of all, that it is very cool. The friendly staff, in addition, that the air conditioning does not function and the regulation of temperature by thermostat on the heating successes. As i in the evening turned out to be, worked however also not.
The bright carpet had many stains, some of which although not very big, however therefor unpleasant were dark. Next to the bed was a huge, ausgeblichene place in the carpet, which i found to be very much more annoying than the lots of small stains found.
On the shower after a long day in the attractive bathroom, i was very pleased. Which then followed, my mood strongly down: in some, if not many, joints of the very nice marble tiles, made the mold wide. Not strong and probably also at every cleaning disinfected, but looked very annoying. Some silicon joints the really glass door was the mold. We remind us:we are in a hotel, the 5 stars in the luxury category and whose room even the names deluxe, grand deluxe, business deluxe etc. Shall (i was in a business deluxe room). And luxury the, in my opinion, nothing to do. Since i have ever seen in any hotel room ever mold discover had (of hostels with shared apart, the i from my previous years know).
The really annoying and disturbing the showers however was: the pole, the shower head was appropriate, sat not firmly in the mounting plate (the lower holder was also not more gold, but rust and brittle ), so that the shower head not definable was and always faced away and against the wall splattered has. Thus you had to the shower while showering detention. Furthermore, that the temperature of the water constantly easily changed, although the thermostats not touched. So everything but good conditions for a relaxing shower.
The bed appeared on the first view okay. I personally may be harder mattresses, but no boxspring. However that is a matter of taste.
But very, very disturbed, was the fact that the fact two single beds pushed together had, without any obsession of the mattresses. Which led, this at night apart pushed and after a short time in the gap between them lay. One had to thus make 8., that one half of the bed not left. What a double bed pointless and to the other me also not always managed. And because of the characteristics of feather/spring core mattresses was the middle of the bed through the two wulstigen seams of both the mattresses were very uncomfortable. The two ceilings were also accordingly narrow, evenly for single beds we thought.
I am in the morning with back pain woke up. Though i am young.
In the remaining the columns of upholstery in my room crumbs and dirt. This is a although it is only on, if you happened to thrust, but that makes it no better.
I thought the option, my stay in the palace to one night to extend, however i opted against and booked at short notice into another hotel a.
When checking out was another lady as on the eve at the front desk. Their friendliness was very fake and on the question, whether my stay because was pleasant, it has only with one ear belongs and only the thing with the bar in the shower noted. I therefore chose, on-line, a detailed report to write.
As small i impression from the hotel came along, i neither the, when booking promised, bottle of water received, the at check in promised daily newspaper for the next morning.
The palace is a well-established hotel with many lovers and undoubtedly a high standard.
However i personally this standard does not get much, at least my room subject.
The rest of the hotel is very attractive. The bar in the (relatively small) lobby, the very pleasant live music in the evening. It is a pity that i suppose unfortunately not more in Hotel Palace floats, because Sam's bar alone is worth a visit.
Probably already a recommendable hotel with focus on business guests (which then however, the extra cost of the wi-fi not declared).
But my own impression was unfortunately not very positive, that's why no recommendation. read more

Completely, really clear recommendation for this hotel!
And suites in 9. floor are a dream. Generous space, clean, very large and nice bathroom.
Staff absolutely friendly and very accommodating, you all employees immediately personally addressed by name and one worries always suitable for all affairs.
The company from the reception after check-in to the suite, as well as a tour of the hotel, in which you got shown, was really exemplary.
The club floor on the 7. floor goes far beyond the, what other homes are offer. Beside at any time food and complimentary beverages are even alcoholic drinks included. ...
The welcome of the hotel manager and the concierge in the room in the form of champagne, fruit basket and pralinenauswahl is also worth mentioning as the really very good breakfast (no matter wether in the club or in the normal dining room) and the beautiful spa with a pool and personal care.
All in all an absolute recommendation - the especially with the friendliness of the staff and extremely great service lives. We are definitely coming again, if we once again in Berlin are! read more

We had this hotel over easter as it is very centrally located to

For a leading hotel of the world several unacceptable defects: mold on the bottom of the shower separation, room on one day at 15 o'clock not yet sorted out, toilet paper not refilled (very bad: at the meeting was the damentoiletten no sheet of paper available, the trash bins overflowing and paper towels were also not available). The Palace Hotel on Europa Center is very centrally located and is a very nice star hotel. The entire staff is very friendly, the lobby, the room, the restaurant tastefully decorated. The pool and the sauna are simply great. We are as a family traveled and for our son (11 years) was already all prepared - in other words 3. bett/towels/bathrobes. In the entire place (over 200 rooms), there were except for the suites only single beds, which would then be. It has therefore always a ditch-ideal for couples! The mattresses or gratings have (we were in about 5 different beds/rooms) all a bend/are forward worn out. You either as an embryo or with the head down. According to the staff: we just so lots of guests. Aaja -understand!-/ the hotel wasn't able us a room with not durchgelegenem bed to give. We thought, with us is true what not, but then we had the breakfast buffet (which was good!) ... Experienced, that also other couples so and the other reviews reflect the same. Only option: upgrade to deluxe room (that there the beds/ grids so saggy is an absolute no-go!) On suite for 50 Euro/ night. Another problem: we had a renovated deluxe room booked. Renovated it was noisy office manager also - 10 years ago. Where our problem would be?! Absolutely no 5 stars. As a make-up mirror, a mini bar and a foehn a stern mind, we would then categorically with 2 stars. And the good-the service and the state of the rooms! A hotel qualified and has disqualified itself on its purpose: beds for sleeping. If in 5 rooms 10 beds (since single beds) are worn out-whether mattress or rust, is the title 'hotel' not worth it, sorry to say! Further negative point: at check-in we were greeted by a ' ey yo full specifically koffertrolley types ' to the room accompanied. My friend is laugh soon canceled-if he is the first date nice kidnap want. Boaah, noo dol, that is unacceptable. First impression right next door. Unless you ' ey yo one, you had beautiful prior. Room up to date and nice; cleanliness in the room: on the first glance ja lime etc. ;toilet seat oh my god once turn up heavy urinstein in the toilet seat really nice yellow; so the cleanliness not so nice and also like to mention: you get bathrobes the bund blue deducted are part of the blue for the coats not more to see
Sauna and pool can only be recommended especially the service

Thanks to the free room upgrades the room was quite spacious and very modern (room 706, club level). Bathroom very simple and probably not renovated (joints were partly missing on the floor; the rod for the shower head was very loosely; floor tiles shook). If wlan is needed, this is fee required, as well as the sauna and a daily newspaper to the room. Unfortunately, i had to a dirty and labeled note from the shoeshine a previous in the room find. Cleanliness nothing special, however rather normal. In the breakfast room coffee with a dirty coffee spoons touches. The ... room warmed up at an outdoor temperature of only -2 degrees despite without heating strong on, so you during the night the windows open had, for the temperature to below 22 degrees, which in respect to the location of the hotel with noise comes. read more

The palace is for me, and after only two visits, in the meantime the address, if i, alone, or with my wife in Berlin am. Here you feel just so in good hands, the one forgets, in a hotel to be. It was just so, than if you in good friends centraly!. To especially the hotel staff, each individual, huge share. It will be the guest the wishes förlich from the eyes and promptly fulfilled. Should it once complaints give, these also immediately 'treatment'. Yes, in my opinion, you can say, the palace is almost absolutely perfect. We will definitely ... return! read more

Great location and ideal for a city trip. Kadewe within sight, theatre des westens 5 minutes on foot. Room very modern, clean and above all very quiet! Reasonable size, however is the bathroom very small side. To 2. hardly usably. We had however also the standard size room. Breakfast buffet at the sunday until 14:00 o'clock and very delicious, very recommendable! read more
