Hotel Ebners Waldhof^{(4.5 stars)}

Hotel, service and location were great. Carriage ride with mr ebner was an experience and we really liked. The toboggan run was only 15 minutes from the hotel and was rather short. But it was a lot of fun The outdoor pool could have been a bit warmer and the cover of the swimming pools was unfortunately out of service (did not disturb us however.) We missed the austrian solid kitchen. There was 5-course menu, the us personally unfortunately no that pleased. The quality of the food was but excellent.! A bit we found it a shame that ... the russian family loudly and without consideration for other behavior has. The beverage prices were unfortunately shocking, 0.5 liters Cola about 5 €! Was all in all a very nice holiday. I would like to congratulate the hotel management to the very nice staff. The dishes were very extravagant. Sometimes already something too much. Very nice was the nothing to be desired lassende wellness area. Our room (filbling) was not the room price and the remaining standard of the hotel. Specially the bathroom (size and equipment) was just bad and the overall impression That we about this hotel take home with very bothersome. read more

It was our 5. stay in the waldhof. We have the stay again really enjoyed and we would like the entire team very sincere thanks. We look forward already today on our next visit. We have the ebners waldhof for a wellnessurlaub beginning december selected and were very impressed. The staff inside are very friendly and willing to help and you feel from the start very probably. The spa & wellness resort is very well equipped and the whole area offers a great panoramic view of the lake and the mountains. The gastronomy was excellent, the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and the 5-course-dinner menu our expectations by far exceeded. We will definitely come back:-) read more

For a relaxing ladies spa weekend the perfect location. Super friendly, competent and warm service, very good food with a lot of love for small, but fine details, nice wellness/spa area with many offered, perfect cleanliness. Not crowded, very relaxing and quiet. Gladly again! read more

Hotel was very nice, the sauna area was also great (it gives everywhere free drinks) but for gehbehindete people is the bath/sauna area nothing, to lots of stairs. Restaurants and food was great and diverse. Room was absuolut not ours! Großens problem, that one at christmas no rooms at the hotel can book (only 1 week min stay bookable!?!, i initially right at the hotel requested). However we only had 4 nights time and should therefore over TUI book (here was strangely a tageweises book not a problem). However we could over TUI only a standard room (no better room ... or suite). This room had lake view, however, was for the price absolutely too expensive! The furniture is minutes. 20-years-old, the bathroom totally out of date, the tiles cracked, bathroom wasn't clean, since 4 days a red button from the previous guests on the floor miss, old fixtures, louder cheaper paltik. Bathtub not to use because 175 centimeter large people can only sit. And so on. Verschmurtze carpets in the room, without beach shoes in the room has black feet. For 130,00 Euro the night per person expect icn more cleanliness and what newer! read more

We were unfortunately only 3 days ebner's waldhof. Very recommendable. Service and friendliness not to beat. All of the staff are always always cared about one. Always an ear to lend for special requests or changes. The evening menu is a highlight. We felt very good and were definitely not for the last time here. read more

We three girlfriends have three days relaxation searched, the us in this perfect hotel the best was offered. The single room spacious, everything available, very clean, the food excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating, the wellness offers excellent and the employees extremely professional. In all areas the hotel is recommendable. read more

Our annual wellness vacation with the family ebner was again perfect! The choices during dinner/ breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. We had a großräumiges, clean room in the main building. Friendliness is in this house largely written. We will come back without fail! read more

The rooms in the main building are old and run-down, dark and musty. Mountings in the bathroom were furred up, the carpet dirty. The whole Stammhaustrakt included of the restaurant and of the terrace is old and does not match the standard, which one in a hotel this price range would expect. The rooms at the ansitz are relatively new, nicely furnished, the bathroom large and well laid out. The hotel consists of 3 parts: main building, ansitz and villa. The connection the 3 houses is extremely complex laid out. Without hotel plan is you in the first days lost. ... Especially older guests do very difficult with the orientation. Also in the bath and sauna area everything is very complicated and you have to stairs and go down between the various saunas. Nice is the herbal sauna with a view of the sea. Remaining saunas are old, dark and musty-the sauna is no fun. The staff in the restaurant is friendly, however the attention altogether to be desired. Breakfast and appetizers the Stammhausrestaurant from the buffet. The dishes are not very nicely decorated. Plates with the dishes were not on time refilled, you had to the staff always daraufhinweisen and ask, to holidaymakers. Also here the attention of the staff considerable Deficiencies shown. The menu altogether was very good, nice on the plates presented, tasted very good. In comparison to other hotels in this price range cuts Ebners very bad. After you at our premature check out then at the front desk then also still very immovably has shown for us is clear, that we in this hotel no vacation more will be able to spend. read more

A good hotel all round with lots of possibilities the salzburgerland to explore. But for cyclists nothing special suitable, since lots of ways/roads impassable are. There was unfortunately no bike path around the lake. read more

In the high season were surprisingly lots of families with small children this wellness -hotel. In spite of the very well-stocked hotels was the week very relaxing and had passed as in the flight. Top are the really extremely pleasant and attentive staff, top is golf instructor Walter, the especially at the beginners the mood at this sport woke and excellent condition is the nine -hole-capacity. In comparison to tennis court, the a thorough renovation urgently necessary. Therefore no full marks with the outdoor activities. The treatments in the spa, also here convince the staff with high quality. read more

A lovely hotel in excellent location. Excellent kitchen on gourmet level. Top -service, especially Mrs A. in Gütl. The area in the main building has gotten a bit old. Because of the other so positive impressions weighs however not so difficult. read more
