I really enjoyed the stay. First I want to congratulate the competent and extremely friendly staff big praise send. I am in the hotelwesen and dining grown up and am also travelled a lot, but in things service can lots of hotels in Germany and someplace else the pearl hotel in Rethymnon could learn a lot. Also the location, the furniture in the room, the restaurant and the whole leisure facilities, although I hardly time found this everything to use, was excellent. I hope, that I in the coming year this time with my family return can. read more

Great hotel, great room ( had two rooms with connecting door because of the children). Very friendly service, many employees spoke German. Several pools within the complex, itself our rooms had a separate pool,

It all expectations fulfilled, there was no reason to the criticism. The service is very exemplary, in particular the service-forces in the restaurant are extra to point out. On reservation we were the breakfast 1 time for 05:30 A. M. provided, so that we at 06:00 to hiking tour could start.

We felt before booking when Holidaycheck about the hotel informed and the reviews read. The general information on the complex votes. The negative reviews regarding of the hotel we don't share.
We have booked half board. The breakfast was very rich. You have the possibility a healthy diet, with fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as muesli and delicious yoghurtsorten. But there were also solid and sweet. So, something for everyone.

The brochure described the hotel were absolutely accurate.
The rooms are very modern and furnished to a high standard.
The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire area is pristine.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Largest point of criticism is however the restaurant.
The variety of was very well arranged.
In our 2 weeks repeated the dishes up to three times.
Otherwise were for breakfast missing things like cold cuts, eggs etc.
Very poor respectively not at all refilled.
The dishes in the evening were always lukewarm respectively cold.
This is in our opinion no five stars standard. ...

The hotel lies 3.5 kilometer from port from Rethymnon away. You can in a three quarters of an hour only the beach promenade

The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Some friendly ladies at the reception languages
German.
The food was good, however for a five-star hotel corresponded the sausage for breakfast - as usual in the southern countries-not to our taste.
The rooms were very modern and took some getting used to. The bedroom and the bathroom provides a unit. The toilet through a almost transparent glass door separately.
The management ... was about international guests very hard.

The hotel complex is very beautifully designed and ideal body within the town located. A course in the wonderful old town in the evening at the sea along in the sunset inside, is simply nicer and takes about 25 minutes. The room works through the open concept very big and is stylish - with the shower in the room great for couples! The service was in every aspect outstanding, the food was varied, a lot delicious but not fantastic. Beach on the doorstep with always free loungers! To city one can run, with the regular bus (1 Euro) or with the taxi (5 Euro). Good combination from beach-and city break if desired= ) I recommend it further! read more

Pleasant size of the hotel, but unfortunately the most rooms no or very limited view of the sea. The neighboring sister hotel pearl beach (4 *) is the layout better, since almost all rooms view of the sea.
Cleanliness oK-partially shortcomings by the' modern' construction ( wooden baseboards in the shower area, then mold schedule...).
The hotel has a underground car park, which is signposted, but guests with borrowing cars must take the (often too small ) parking the pearl beach with this guests parts. read more

Hotel is good, as a 4 * in Germany. Room tastefully decorated. Eat of a breakfast in a five-star hotel in Germany no comparison, is however quite good.
Dinner: drinks in the hotel for Greece a bit overpriced, beer 0.3 liter 3€
Beach directly in front of the hotel, the first 2 meters with mussel-until fist size rocks, on you way to go must (at high waves it can be unpleasant, as the balance, and then like raw eggs into the sea is/is ), is however to make. Bathing shoe you can usually buy on site). Beach is okay ..., relatively narrow-just couch at couch but very reasonable for a few days. Chair and an umbrella are for the hotel guests free of charge.
Pool is ( much ) too small for 'typical' animation, that means almost no animation. But every 2 days evenings program, amongst others a very interesting guided city tour in the old town or dance performance. Also at the beach no animation ( no beach volleyball etc.)
From the quayside you can hear very little, as is the sea too loud and traffic low.
40 minutes on foot in the historic part or 5€ with the taxi, past some typical Tourilokalen (with the usual nasty Essensfotos )-but if you erstaml in Rethymnon is, there is very nice, in small side alleys located pub

City hotel, rather 4 than 5 stars. Staff top = 6 stars. A lot of of the staff are over long years working here.
Snacks and drinks relatively expensive. The snack bar makes a in the meantime rather worn down impression ( rusty Regalhalter, window frames rotten and so on).
In the lateral road some taverns with reasonable prices. About 20 minutes to the beautiful old town respectively to the Venetian port. As almost everywhere you should also the overpriced Touristenlokalitäten avoid. Not far from port ( around 50 to 100 meters) local taverns, strangely evenings almost without tourists, guarantee ... food typical of the country. Food and drinks almost only half as expensive.
Altogether I can both the hotel as well as the city further-recommend. read more

We have a week in June there wonderful relaxed. Here you nothing at all from the ' Eurokrise Greece' felt. Everybody was really nice and friendly, especially the staff in the restaurant. Feel good factor 10. Jede R request was fulfilled. This hotel you can really recommend. Our room - 822-had a massive balcony, from the pool, the evening events and on the sea view.
Hotel guests get at the beach free loungers with sun screens. Bathing shoe remember, despite sandy beach there are a lot of rock. One goes right from the hotel in the next street right and ... runs until shortly before the next main street, one finds on the left side a small agency, in the same daytrips, reasonably priced are, as the in the hotel offered. The women there speaks perfect German, because they have times lived and is really friendly and helpful. read more

We were to 2. Mal (2011/2012 ) in this hotel and nothing to fault. The food is tasty, the room clean and the staff are just sharpened. We felt very comfortable and could our vacation to 100%,. The prices at the bar are reasonable. It is everything you need in direct proximity ( taxi rank, bars, mini supermarkets). We will probably also 2013 again in the hotel vacations, because here you knew which one receives for its money. read more

Because we by car anyway the island explored required we the room only for sleeping.
