Hotel Venezia^{(2 stars)}

The room was so dirty and run down that we're in the first moment deliberation between to leave the hotel. Everywhere was carpeted floors, the very many old and fresh spots - the that icky spread was big enough that we can't even on it. Hair were in bed - absolutely disgusting!! Mold on the walls!! The safe we didn't dare because it looked like they could the with a minimum of fuss out of the wall. In the bathroom was peeling off the "color" or whatever from the bath. As the walls and ceilings. Everything was bad nachgestrichen with a desperate attempt to cover the misery. We are not without flip flops shower. The air-conditioner was so loud that we could not sleep, but without it was also not as it was so hot. There was a smell we could not everywhere. The worst was: The door to the room had such a wide slot, that you put your finger open the castle. We didn't lock, so we had to carry our valuables constantly with us. Then we requested a new room. This was not much better - at least you couldn't open the door from the outside. Room-transfers were not charged for our phone calls to Germany - our good luck.

Breakfast in the hotel, breakfast was awful!! Rock hard bagels, Minidonuts with verlaufener chocolate, coffee (ick!) and was not much. Has everything at a Campingtisch fit. And it was cleared before 9am. Delivery service: The food was pretty bad. The sushi was warm, if you don't want is enough to give tips, are the same grumpy too and not more friendly.

The staff had no idea of anything. There was a lady at the desk, which don't understand English and also did not speak. We wanted the day of check out to be woken up 3:30, weren't sure if they understood and made. We asked for a wake up call 10 minutes earlier, so to 3:20. In the end the telephone rang around 3:40.

We stayed a week last month in Miami for a beach holiday. From the moment we arrived the hotel made a very shabby. The first idea was "oh God where we ended up here? " (See also "Zimmerbewertung") in this hotel we will never again set foot, rather spend more will look elsewhere.

Not far from the beach, but there is no right stores, restaurants or anything like that. If the Kioskinhaber don't fancy - in our case to make a shake - say it easy. Poor service!!

Dirty sheets with many hair - ighh.

Breakfast was moldy, and orange juice and coffee were very quickly empty.

Reception staff ok, you little to no service.

Not available in the area, no pool, no entertainment.

It's difficult when the English and Spanish skills bad. The rooms were always cleaned and were clean. Child care and tours were not offered. But there were numerous brochures. With complaints they responded quickly and they were always friendly.

No pool and no entertainment or a sports program ...

The Venezia is definitely a mature and very basic hotel on Indian Creek Drive/North Beach Miami. It is very basic and great for a week sightseeing if you are on a tight budget. It looks from the outside it is not spectacular and the inside. It has a small breakfast terrace facing the street (but still nice) and so much I know 3-4 floors. We had a double room with 2 double beds, a fridge, closet, desk, chair, TV, air conditioning and a bathroom with bath, sink and toilet ( although the bathroom had definitely old and we saw ). Overall, the room was clean. The elevator was a bit older and very very small. Breakfast at the hotel, but this is only non natural orange juice, coffee pot and wrapped cookies available muffins. You can really save! The front desk doesn't speak English, perfect for this Spanish, which in Miami but often happen. The guests were many cruise people, some are occupied by long term tenants and otherwise mixed (New York, Poland, Spain, etc. ) and also from all ages.

The location was perfect, the beach was only a few meters away and also to Indian Creek and to Collins Av. Where shops and bars are. There is also a bus stop right across the street from the hotel where buses to downtown and South Beach for little money. Just perfect! We were there in February and had the Miami boat show right around the corner.
