Great hotel but extreme noise because of the proximity to male airport. The complex is tidy, the food excellent, the service perfect. In comparison to other similar portfolios luxury seems the price level for food, drink, diving, here but especially high to be. read more

    The rooms are pretty and spacious, we had a lagoon villa, on stilts in the lagoon is built and direct access to the sea offers. Since it concerns villa is, is the right to privacy on the veranda limited, since one anyhow the conversations of the neighbors (and even to be heard).

    The food in all the restaurants was fabulous (and is accordingly expensive, that means one can have good and with $400 up to $ 500 for two people including drinks be expected). Breakfast is really exceptionally good, no buffet, but a la carte.

    Sport was limited with us to the diving. This is in the taj exotica very expensive, particularly in comparison to other departments of a similar category, where you partly 1/2 to 2/3 of prices in the taj is charged. A dive cost in november 2012 $ 115 plus 6% tax. The taucheq uipment was new, the instructor competent and motivated. Nitrox diving is possible.

    Beautiful lagoon, great complex. The hotel is unfortunately in the approach path of the international airport of male, that means one must with significant aircraft noise partially to after midnight be prepared. The aeroplanes are in the villas with closed doors clearly audible, we even in the hotel bar (equator bar) with the music clearly heard. Who peace, relaxation and togetherness searches is in the right place here. Small, wonderful Island with one of the largest lagoons of the Maldives, ideal for swimming. Perfect service, also extra wishes are fulfilled. The restaurants are excellent. Lagoon Villas leaves nothing to be desired. In short: very recommendable. Only, small flaws: the island is located in the Einflugscheise to male. We found the 3-4 planes daily not disturbing. read more
