Overall no recommendation - the hotel we would never again book! The hotel is rather average and 3-4 stars better qualified than 4.5 b is 5. the rooms in the villas (main house closed) are large, but quite worn and very uncomfortable and not ideally furnished. The carpets are there only on the website not in reality. There is virtually only double rooms. If you with children travels, be the rooms with camp beds with rusty iron rack 'pepped up', and the comfort even more suffering. Be careful: with some tour operators one must with small reduction almost the ... price for 4 people pay, get with two kids but only 1 room with mentioned above. Camp beds. But the upholstery away. This will the rooms still uncomfortable, because you to sit not padded ergonomically unsound chairs and on the balcony only 2 chairs. The staff is willing and friendly, but mostly incompetent. It was practically not in the minds of the room-service to get, that 2 adults and 2 children also 4 towels (and not only 3) and appropriate number of obscure want. Every day is an important 'officials', with great fanfare by the mini bar controlled. One occurs oneself, like a thief. This ban the prices from the beginning, that you also only 1 water the fridge pulls. Apparently according the room service not to, the beds make discreet the refrigerator to replenish or 'failure' to register. In the desert dusty it is surrounded by nature, it is not enough, that only sometimes with coarse broom the room swept. In the bathroom were gathered the flakes. The shampoo bottle were at prior since, were then but no more refilled. Also wash cloths gave it only on the 1. day. Sometimes the room service only shortly before dinner, if you are after the beach for a long time again in the room anyway. read more

Hotel had its best time long ago. Is not a 5 Star Hotel at all. Be first at breakfast otherise you dont get anything at all! read more

It was at the time suits well. In the moment is a new wi-fi - system installed, which construction - activities led. Especially i want the kindness of the employees in the restaurant and in the lobby emphasize. Flaws, such as' snow ' on tv or not closing balcony door were within a very short time fixed. read more

    The bathroom and shower were huge. Cleanliness and condition were also okay (in the area everything was ok, no mold or similar). The tv was a bit too small for the distance to the bed. We had the room above the disco, which we didn't so much mind, but the whole main building is very badly soundproofed. As the villas is, we can't judge.

    We had the half board, that means all drinks had to be paid and were already expensive (beer = 8-10, -€, cheapest bottle of wine = 50, -€, water large still 1.5, liter = 4, -€). The food was but very good (had already long not so good anymore eaten) and always varied (arabic, asian, and so on). The chef Julius everything was done what you wanted and was very concerned the everything fits. The hotel has 3 restaurants. We to have however only in the 'la terazza' eaten.

    The view at the beach there is of course not great, construction on building sites. From the beach into the sea you can approximately 50 meters into the water go. The hotel is located very outside of rak. From the airport Dubai to the hotel about 1 hour travel time. Have this hotel as a part of a package visited. The rooms in the ' arab houses' are very nice, it wasn't missing anything. The staff are very friendly. Only drawback: the free wi-fi-access was for our laptop ( new model) not available. read more

If you for a lot of money no service and no appropriate services to have would like, is in the hotel in good hands. It is because of the construction in nothing at all offered. The hotel has a main building (which during our stay was reconditioned straight and thus was closed) and countless small bungalows, which each about 5 rooms. The hotel is very big, which one very nice is, on the other hand, depending on the accommodation long sidewalks causes. However, there is always the possibility the front desk contact an golfauto from a to b to be driven. The cleanliness the hotel unfortunately leaves partly to be desired. Bins along the paths were during our whole stay a maximum of 1 times emptied, so that you almost every day at excessively crowded ... trash passed and did not know, where with the trash. In the lady was on the whole stay the soap dispenser broken and it seems nobody to be interested. On the way to our bungalow lay several-day-long glass and, although we have at the front desk answer gave, the glass not swept away. They are all just small matters, and we are certainly not the sort of vacationers, on such things pull up, but there are still things, the eye. The swimming pool was clean, what however not for the toilets by the pool applies, which urgently reconditioned would have. You could book half-board and full board plus. Full board plus is worthwhile here not really, there was drinks during dinner times included are, however, no alcohol, which one for dinner already would have liked. The luncheon vouchers (no matter wether with the half-board or full board) are all meals apply, so you could with half board also times at noon eat out, if you in the evening to eat out.     Our room was really huge, so that one even Beachvolleyball without any problems this play could, but is the furniture getting very old. I think and hope, that the bungalows after the completion of the main house also be renovated. The bathroom was reasonable and large enough for 2 people. Our room had a large terrace with a table us chairs, which we however not use, as it also in the evening too hot was, get comfortable to sit outside. A fridge with minibar, and an air conditioner are available. There was also a tv with 2 or 3 german channels.

    The breakfast was more or less fine. There was always the same, but here there is obviously little possibilities to vary. There are a variety of breads, a wide selection of muesli, cucumbers, tomatoes, 2 types of sausage, 2 types of cheese and the usual 'english breakfast' with beans and sausage. Great is, that eggs freshly prepared and also always fresh waffles and pancakes prepared. Maybe you could as suggestion add, that it practically would be, for the jam, Nutella and so on small bowls available, in the you small portions bottling can, as you will otherwise always all the plates ruined. The lunch to the dinner. Altogether the warm dishes were rather monotonous. I am not picky what the food concerns, but after about a week i was the food the really sick and i didn't know more, what i choose should. Only the dessert was almost every day excellent! Was pleasant in addition, a station, to the every day fresh pasta making facilities. The ambiance in the restaurant was rather uncomfortable, as the food by the construction works in the main building, but in a small theme restaurant was served. There were always all tables (the anyway already so close next to each other, that you sometimes hardly came through) manned, so that a significant noise led. Also the room was the guest appearance not cope, so wait up to 20 minutes, until you get a table. The beverage prices are rather expensive, for alcoholic beverages even overpriced. A glass of red wine cost circa 8 Euro!

    In the area of service one must unfortunately large make departures. The staff are though through the bank very friendly, however a standard was ordered, which a 4,5 star hotel is not portable. It starts with the hospitality in the restaurant. The drains seemed very uncoordinated, so you either 5 times mentioned, whether one something to drink would like, or you were 'ignored' and had next to the dirty plates, the in the course of the food piled up thirsty. Better would be an allocation of spaces to individual waiters, so that everyone at ' its' area can focus. Furthermore is to complain about, that some waiters didn't understand, that european women in comparison to many arab women also gladly and after a asks for being asked, or an absurdity is, that only the man at the table refills, for fear of the woman to look at. I have in the remaining also never seen, that the man in the chair at the sit down at the table rangerückt and not of women \u263a The room was cleaned well, apparently, everything was clean and you got every day fresh towels. But you have to here what the other tourists agree, that it is partly at the edge already tattered towels are! Unfortunately, there seems no list to give, what the review the room handled is, so that then just sometimes no water (it were every day 2 bottles into the room provided) refilled and on the other day no toilet paper. At the front desk i had on the 4. day after a sewing kit asked, it was said to me, that this past brought to you, if i later in the day in my room i am.     The hotel has 2 pools, really very small are. Chairs were fortunately always free. At the beach there were free beach chairs with umbrellas. The current nature of the beach i already far above said. Because of the construction, you had to besides bulldozers on large sand dunes hiking, at last the water to see. The sand and the water were clean, but directly next to the beach section there is a breakwater built up, so that (really too ) day and night noise from the bank the stones is available. Of peace and quiet no trace. The large tankers, of which the stones gehievt, emit the correct windkonstellation even a great dieselgeruch, what the baustellenerlebnis still authentic power. Entertainment wasn't offered. Evening was really dead in the hotel, so that we, on many desperate vacationers met, all of which did not know, what you should do. In of the pool bar there was a band, but this was always pushing noisy, so that nobody dorthintraute. There is the possibility a water pipe hire and a bit on the terrace of the restaurant to relax, but more than one or two nights if you want the also not. In the lobby there are 2 computers with internetzugng, but use quite expensive. Also here would be for a contemporary hotel to be, that these changes and possibly wi-fi for a fair price offered.

    The beach is directly in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, it was during our travels only reduced usable, since construction and bulldozers to progress were. According to the bungalows was the distance to the bungalow to the beach up to 10 minutes. The journey from Dubai airport to the hotel is a little over an hour. The drive in the town itself is approximately 20 minutes. There is however also a shopping centre (with supermarket ) in the vicinity of the hotel, one in around 15 to 20 distance. Hotel will time ago reorganized. Staff friendly, but very disorganized. Drinks completely overpriced ( if one was served!) complex only after construction recommendable. Beach nice. Outdoor area nice, but neglected in the villas area. In the breakfast room was evenings shisha smoking and morning breakfast. Main building closed.

The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful, in particular the front desk. There was English and speak German, it was actually always along. Our room was huge and was daily properly cleaned. Construction in the main building were for us not to hear and at the beach not disturbing. There were daily cold towels and small fruit skewers against the heat-a nice guests! We have a trip to Dubai made very recommendable, travel time about 1 hour. read more

Brief summary: no 5 * as described but 3 + star. The garden villa are already 'worn' and not on the state of the things ( for example no flat screen tv, etc.). The main building is at present reconditioned (no construction noises audible) and hopefully better. The dishes were good but repeat often, the variety missing. The two pools for the whole area way too small, the pool toilets are only 1-2 *! We had luckily full board plus ( included drinks), there the beverages very expensive are ( Pepsi Tin about 4 €)! Currently I wouldn't recommend ... this hotel possibly after the complete renovation?! read more

Hotel has already gotten a bit old the main building is now renovated and next year the bungalows to come. The location is very good directly at the beach. The rooms are huge and were every day cleaned even Bettwechsel every day. The only about the food they should be better, they are perhaps 4 stars, but you always find something, fruit could have been more. Excursions we have also made safari and Dubai City tour with deutschersprachiger tour operator is very recommendable, whether expensive must decide everyone. The hotel was from the Hilton-group and is being gutted and rebuilt. Currently not fully booked, which we thought was pleasant, as it always enough sunbeds at the beach and at the pool was. The entire staff are very friendly. The room decor dated and worn. The complex itself is very beautifully built and spacious. Food was good. After about a week but the buffet but repeated. The desserts buffet was the hit. Cute little different desserts lovingly arranged. Everything very clean in the restaurant, but nevertheless the hotel has at best 3-stars and earned. We have a relaxing hotel spend. In august but it was too hot. Would not more in the august fly, in addition, the hotel while we were there specially newly renovated. Excavating works at the beach, loud hammer and at the pool was debris. But of course at another travel time will be different. General was the pool way too small. Am rather on larger pool areas and for the size of the hotel, far from enough pool. Completely the staff were very friendly and the food excellent 'delicious'. The hotel is however very remotely and around to Dubai City ... to come it takes a bit. Will not again come, because if nwal, then directly in Dubai, but it was very nice there ☺ read more

Due to renovation works not recommendable. At the hotel we have no construction true, but strandbauarbeiten. It daily from early until late evenings massive rock from a boat into the sea thrown, sounds downright like a demolition squad at, then again with dredgers at the body placed where they are intended for. Hotel is clean and tidy. Located on beach, best swimming or bathing shoe bring your own, the sand is very hot and in the sea are partly large rock. Showers at the beach are not cooling, just as the sea. Main building is currently completely closed, due to ... renovation work. We had no booked half board, only overnight stay with breakfast. Age group of the guests were from 0A 75 years, Italian, russians, German and arabic hotel guests. Rate urgently of room 506 from, including the malibu nightclub. Sleepless nights are guaranteed.! read more

    Room was large, therefore I understand it is not, that you don't 2 double beds clear. You would still have been enough space. Our daughter got a was extra bed, this is also a no-go for a five-star hotel. Closets you had enough, but unfortunately no iron or ironing board. Also there was no kettle or coffee machine available. Every day we got per person 2 times 0.5 liter bottles flat water free. The mini bar is available, however very expensive. Usage of the safe is free of charge. Telephone, tv and air conditioning. The bathroom is also large, with a toilet, bath tub, shower, washbasin and hair dryer. Room is a bit shabby, in the bathroom is really beautiful many mold.

    For our stay were the restaurants le chalet by the pool, the al jazeera in the current main building and la fortezza open. The al jazeera there was the breakfast buffet, if one called it so could. Every day there was the 3 same types of sausage ( truthahnschinken, hähnchenschinken, truthahnmortadella ), the same cheese( edam and cheddar) and 2 marmelade ( strawberry and pineapple), honey you had to against an extra charge order. The cooked eggs were already blue, the' fresh' bananas burst. The juices were no fresh, but concentrates. The coffee you got sometimes only once, in the 2. cup you had to a service call or even help. The staff seemed very haphazard and unsafe, if you from the dining comes recognizes the will be charged. This is no 5 star staff. Also tasted the coffee every day otherwise, once coffee to understand and on the next day heart attacks coffee. The dinner there was also a buffet in la fortezza, the choice and quality of the food a catastrophe. Also there was every evening the same. The themed evenings were not themengerichtet as it should be. We had no half board, have 490 Dirham ( about 110 €) for a buffet under all cannon without drinks paid. A bottle of flat water costs 14,50 Dirham plus 1.50 Dirham waiter service ( circa 3,50 Euro).

    The staff's hospitality from the housekeeping to the gardener very accommodating. It was mainly English spoken, on some days is also a German speaking at the front desk. The cleaning of the rooms is top, everything very clean. A kids club is available, but is currently not open. Hotel's own laundry service also is however very overpriced. The towels or the towels are also partly not know anymore, or are even with holes or sideways torn. This should in a five-star hotel not happen. Even the bed linen had stains and holes.

    The pool the le chalet restaurant was very warm, like a bath tub. This one could with a real complex down well cool. You could get towels by the pool, the loungers are also getting quite old, also the cushions. At the pool there are toilet' s. The pool in the closed main building is small but a little 'cooler'. Here, you could get towels, but there is unfortunately no toilet, you have to go down to the other pool walk (about 10 minutes) so if pressiert... Bad luck had! There, there are also a jacuzzi, which is also very warm. There, there are unfortunately no boarding aid ( railing), for disabled or older people not suitable, large danger of slipping. Also the paddling pool to the entrance for infants dangerous no boarding aid available. Also at the pool places no pool service available, if you thirst must even walk. Is a absolute no-go when a five star hotel. As wheelchair users one comes everywhere back, to the beach, since then nothing more. Also you could be in the upper pool the ramp for wheelchairs somewhat level, the is so steep, that a wheelchair users always someone needs to to climb.     From Dubai airport it is approximately 45 to 60 minutes travel time to the hotel. After ras al-khaimah to manar mall is approximately 10 to 15 minutes with the hotel shuttle bus, free every day at o'clock and at: o'clock back, but you have to 2 days in front of reserve. Taxi we didn't use. The al hamra mall is about 20 minutes away on foot, or with the taxi 10 Dirham ( circa 2 Euro), without an extra charge you can also use a abholungszeit a bargained price with the taxi driver. In this mall on the ground floor lots of shops, for example jewelry, clothes, children's clothing, pharmacy, dentist, supermarket, burger King, texas chicken, Starbucks cofe, Italian cafe, brazilian cafe, atm and so on, on the 1st floor are lots of shops closed or will soon be reopened. Likewise, one found on this floor a wide selection of choices of food, for example indian, sushi, pasta, lebanese, mexican, Italian and so on! Excursions may also in the hotel be booked, you could also right at the hotel rent a car, if you want.

For us it was around a wonderful time. We have the huge -room with a direct access to the beach very enjoyed. The staff members were friendly, nicely opposite children and also whilst dealing with people with Disabilities very helpful. Especially the staff, the Riesenhitze the guests at the beach with cold towels, drinks and fruit skewers and with a smile supplied, is my respect. Disturbing and shameful were contemporaries, which it behavior and education is good during dinner to watch for massive selection at meals, there can eigentlicdh no hungrigheraus go. We were in the Arab restaurant also in ... very good hands - brilliant food. We enjoyed the nightly construction at the beach not disturbed and the other work in the main building we didn't hear. read more
