Hotel Sandman & Suites Calgary West^{(3 stars)}

We got room 308 and were surprised, we had an anteroom with sofa and tv, a small kitchen, as well as an extra bedroom (also with a tv). The room offered carpet floor, ironing board and iron, microwave, sink, toaster, fridge, kettle, a large double bed with a blanket, and a secretary. The bathroom had shower and hair dryer. The hotel was very poorly soundproofed, however therefor very spacious.

Breakfast gave it in the attached restaurant 'dennys', it was served: 2 roasted greasy toast, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, tea, coffee, orange juice, jam. Vegetarians got instead of bacon and sausage a glass with fruits.

There were all nice and friendly.

The hotel lies directly with the olympic parc and offers all the amenities you a hotel expected. Free wi-fi there was also.

The hotel is located outside from calgary with the olympic parc. Directly opposite is wendys, a liquor store, McDonald's, a greek and a pizzeria. With the train one is in 10 minutes in calgary. On the doorstep is a 6-lane highway with a sleazy stoplight switch-here you have to really be fast. From the hotel one already sees the ski jump and the construction of the olympic park, here can manzu distance.
