We toured this hotel for one night during our trip. It is in the middle of pristine nature, which one also gets very nice view.
The complex consists of four bungalows, in which in each case four units are. The hotel is specially newly renovated has been very good quality.
The restaurant is in the main building, quality of the food was as far as really good, the motivation of the employees could have been in some moments maybe a bit higher, but it was on the whole a good service.
The location of the hotel is for an excursion ... in the yala np optimal. read more

As a part of a round trip. Sleepless night, as on the duvet, floor and wall evenings and at night some black animals. Not pleasant. After spray yourself thoroughly of the duvet with NoBite and disposal of pillows ( somewhere had the viecher yes again) was reasonably sleep possible.
To be fair it is to be marked, that the other Rundreiseteilnehmer in their rooms this problem not had. read more

Very friendly Front desk with a welcome drink. The whole complex is secluded from through road and in a quiet location so that the peacocks and at night the frogs in the open good to hear.
the bungalows are provided with featuring 4 rooms same style and are inclusive großräuming shower and toilet. Rooms are equipped with AC and ceiling fan. The separate restaurant at the view terrace is also well-developed.
staff friendly and when we had a wish is received.
food was class and versatile fresh.
very recommendable!

The hibiscus is near the yala national park. That's why the location is great, if you want a safari to make would like (small tip, if safari, then with a Jeep, it is expensive, but in the buses went partly the tinted windows not on). The hotel appears to be relatively new, there are also other units, but the noise really not disturbing. The pool was refreshing and very well maintained. Also the rooms were very spacious, the bathroom is very spacious and you have on space built. The restaurant is higher in the main building, from here you can ... enjoy the countryside and the hotel nice overlook. read more

I had to experience many problems from the booking time itself and was compelled to leave the hotel in advance in total disgust due to the bad treatment meted out to me by the Restaurant Staff, especially the Restaurent Manager (explained in detail under "Service" Column). read more

Hotel is nice, if it is ready! archived

The hibiscus hotel was the last hotel on our trip to Sri Lanka. At first glance I liked it, check-in friendly, 2 staff to our bungalow, we had a very nice explained everything (A/C, and so on) we immediately to our Safari picked up and returned late in the evening. We then noticed that the bungalows had no numbers are written, we knew not more in the dark of the five of us now was, all have tried with our key to a fit!
Dinner is served from 19 o'clock, when we arrived at 19 o'clock 30 came, there was ... no food. All tables were occupied, it was for a while until the food was delivered. Breakfast the next day the same, ignorant, we were already at eight in/out privileges and the breakfast was ready, instead of as advertised at seven o'clock. No hot water for showering it was, we didn't mind as did not want. Conclusion: The hotel will have been nice, if it is ready, that is to say the walkways laid out are, the bungalows numbered. The garden, the front desk and so on are really nice, but there were just little things bother you (it was the only Hotel in Sri Lanka where the staff in the restaurant was not so nice) and we are certainly not picky! Therefore we recommend not there at the moment. read more

The reception was very friendly with welcome drink. The whole area is off the main road and in a quiet location so that the peacocks are ignored.
The bungalows are equipped with same style and großräuming four rooms are with shower and toilet. Rooms are equipped with a/C and a ceiling fan and a large volume. Beds content is excellent and you can sleep very well without aches to have. The separate restaurant at the view terrace is also well developed. We have this time with full board just the daily menu and the were very delicious. Price performance ratio ... very good. The staff was friendly and when we had a wish is received.
I hope, that everything as found to continue in the coming years remains. Overall, this place can only be empohlen and we will definitely return. read more

Very nice hotel by German standards with German-speaking management. The bungalows fit in well into the landscape and they are very comfortable. The cleanliness of Sri Lanka very good, as was the food. The rooms activities equipped with a double bed, single bed, Dresser, mirror, air conditioning, fridge and a opened Walk-In Closet. The bathroom was clean, unfortunately the neighbors at the Showers listen. The pool was not as clean and in the evening was the complex poorly lit. The property you can travel approximately 30 minutes to the Yala national park. The staff is super friendly, was always there ... to help you if you wanted to order something, or. For two nights 1a just great. read more

We only stayed for one night the hibiscus, when we had a trip to the level-national park have made. The hotel looks very new and well kept.
the rooms were large, but a bit spartan-for more nights we would probably not have stayed, for a short stay however, it was perfect. The staff is friendly and also fulfilled special requests. read more

as mentioned, Great hotel by German standards with German-speaking management and srilankesischer friendliness! Here you almost feel like you are at home, however, to close the Yala national park nature. For us this hotel was the base for our Safari, as for most of the visitors to the hotels. In future, the management plans to own statement, the complex in order to extend another bungalow (4 rooms).
We wish the hotel every success!
Predicate ☺ highly recommendable! ☺ read more
