Now the Loews -chain belonging hotel is in a perfect location, right next to a fine shopping mall beside the Dolby theater ( earlier Kodak theater). One is in a few minutes the universal studios, Mulholland drive, etc. And around the corner from Hollywood Boulevard. Very nice, partly nearly classy hotel, only our room was rather small. read more

Hollywood Roosevelt had its' weddings' certainly in the the twenties, Dreiziger -but managed, a special flair and a hotspot of Hollywood to be. Here you can feel still, that something 'special' is in the air-the lobby is impressive, you feel yourself like a aoapos*aposao!
the audience is International, all in all very hip and trendy and from the average age anywhere between 20 and 30 category. Friends of plastic surgery and wasserstoffblonden hair come in the traveling companions in the elevator definitely not too short ☺
breakfast is in the regular room price not inclusive-does but also no not, Starbucks ... and the coffee bean (free Wi-Fi!) next door! read more

The location directly on the walk of Fame and the flair of the old Hollywood speak for the hotel. The rooms in need of an overhaul which is normally only three stars mean and that the staff was moderately friendly is, on the other hand. Some deals were offered with breakfast, which ends, you can renegotiate the staff every day, whether it be OJ belonged to it or not. Ridiculous for the price. If you are in your own room the air compressor of the neighbors can hear, it was the first time and it is visibly felt as disturbing ..., if one wants to change the room. read more

Due to the mixed reviews of this hotel were a bit nervous about the cleanliness, what we would now erwrten Roosevelt. To be honest, we really enjoyed it. The hotel is directly because of the 'walk of Fame' and is easy to find by car. There is only valet park 'input' (the car we parked in a garage), the costs $32 a day, plus tip. On the downside: casual bags in the car can not easy in/out privileges, the car is driven up completely again, should you need anything from them. Very friendly front desk there (with nice small talk). ... We arrived at 11:30 A.M. and we were greeted at the front desk was very friendly. To our surprise we were given our room (normally in the US check in only starting from 16 o'clock). We stayed in four. Floor, for a higher floor (9 or twelve) we would have to wait until mid-afternoon. The house has the 20er years the atmosphere very well maintained, the dogs 'without '. The guests were mostly young and stylish (our teenage daughters loved it). The lobby is impressive. Lots of dark wood and leather. A friendly staff even opened the room, in which the first Oscar-Award in 1929 took place. Our room was modern renovated (retro style). The mini bar was almost a small kiosk. Coffee machine available, was unfortunately not free of charge ($3.50 per coffee capsule). Flat screen tv, Wi-Fi, a camera practice shall live pictures from the walk of Fame on the tv (unfortunately most of the window to see to the rear or side.) great pool with bar (after the motto 'see and be seen'). All landmarks in Hollywood's immediate vicinity (and Hollywood is really the most beautiful): Grauman's theater, Madame Tussaud's, Kodak theater, Disney's soda fountain and many others to Universal Studios we drove easily with the Metro (one stop). The tours of Beverly hills by minibus for 13 passengers (was great!) run directly opposite the hotel for breakfast we went once the room service. Very delicious and great service, with nearly a hundred dollars but a bit pricey. The other times we stayed at coffee bean directly opposite the hotel. We can recommend the Roosevelt in any case. Heavenly quiet at night, even though we were right in the center. We would book it again at any time. read more

Passing through in Amerika checked I May 2011 to the hotel a.
The location is brilliant, the staff, the hotel itself, the presentation, the style and the bars are absolute sharpened. The hotel is known for wild Hollywoodparties, on the valet -parking was our rental car ( Mustag V6) one of the smaller car ;-). Madame Tussauds, the Kodak Theathre, CNN and Scientology building are in the immediate vicinity. It is an expensive area but once in the hotel checked in, you feel a little like a VIP. read more

The hotel is located exactly across from the work of Fame, that, you always on the spot. We're sorry, but it is in and around the hotel very tight. If you pull up at the entrance is maximum of three or four cars and you immediately rauszuhüpfen gezwunge is so space for others. Our daughter always something for everyone in a car, which really needed shortly after. The hotel welcomes a a very dark atmosphere. The floors are dark tiled, the room was dark and very cramped, the hallways even more reduced. The walls are countless images of some verstobene ... celebrities from the Showwelt. This enhances the impression, that you stay in a Tomb more. read more

Absolute Kaschemme, completely dark, overbuilt, rude staff (except for check-inn Albert), rooms on a canopy with numerous air-conditioning and an appropriate noise, sparse & insufficient room fittings, poor painted concrete walls. Hotel boasts with stars of bygone days. NEVER again!!! read more

Clear, the hotel is a little older, but that is what makes the charm of the house. The many speakers mentioned the darkness highlighted to me this alterhabene flair (at least we found out that there were the first Oscar assignment). Otherwise it offers everything you need mediaeval Muehlhausen as evening. Drinks at the bar however they are not that cheap. read more
