Good hotel, a lot of activities in the area, helpful staff, good room. I did not liked that there was not fresh vegetables or salads available for breakfast or buffet lunch, but may be in this country people just do not like to eat fresh vegetables. read more

We stopped here for food and sleep only after a freak blizzard upset our travel plans. This hotel evokes a bygone era of travel. The staff manages to exude the kind of discrete competence that is no longer emphasized. The building is old and palatial, with very high ceilings. The interior decorations are mostly classical artwork. Breakfast was served in a pleasant room with skylights and shakespeare-themed wallpaintings. Quite an unusual and pleasant atmosphere is what struck me at this hotel. Also the hotel restaurant was good and inexpensive. read more

The hotel is located each around 5 minutes away on foot the metrolinien m1 and m3 (runs toward airport) away.
With two lines one is fast in the innenstedt. A supermarket is also close at the hotel.
The check in ran without any problems in english. Our questions about how to get the best where come were answered our questions in a friendly way and on the map shown.
The room was not particularly large, but otherwise more or less fine. For a sightseeing weekends it was good enough.
The breakfast buffet was decent. Extensive offer and fresh, the staff ... friendly.
Only the juices had which from chemistry laboratory. read more

For a city break thoroughly recommended. Transport links on your doorstep, you can also very much to reach on foot. The rooms were big enough and well equipped. The bathroom is rather a bit small however also not bad. Staff are very friendly!... Breakfast... Oh well... It was already enough written about them, but so bad it is now also not. The wellness area is not the best, but ok. The value for money is in any case very good! read more

The atmosphere is very good, the café serves good food and cakes, the staff are friendly, helpful and competent. Which brings but everything not much, if the Hotelkomponente look at them. A very strong shabby and an ageing hotel, although beautiful and big room -the go however the large square, one of the most busy streets in Budapest. Therefore advises the staff to the small, on the yard side rooms - and they are especially a: small. And you get to see the abrasion everywhere.
Unfortunately, was surely once a great place. But even renovate unhinges the problem the location ... not! A-no sign of insects or the like, which here and in other Forums described! read more

Very pleasant and helpful reception team, also applies to all restaurant- and Kaffeehausmitarbeiter. Perfeketes respond to in advance via mail's room requirements ( as far as possible)-again thanks especially to Mrs Susanne! Beautiful very good equipped large room with spacious bath. Good food and drinks in the main restaurant Olive's ( amongst others very good and cheaper Sunday brunch) and the in-house patisserie Zsolnay (. Delicious desserts). Small but fine spa area in the 2. Basement with a small indoor swimming pool and sauna ( Hansdtücher beach chairs between 16 and 22 o'clock on), against payment massages.
Weak point: breakfast ... buffet. 2 Büfettbereiche by walkway, very narrow pastry selection and partly unfortunately also -quality, also otherwise I understand under ' super breakfast buffet' something else.! ' Blümchenkaffee ' out of a thermos.
Altogether but a very good one recommendable older Stadtotel with style in a location. read more

I met before the actual check in-time in the hotel a and had expected, the room not yet able to refer, but in the meantime my luggage store to May. But the front desk is phoned with the maids, the then first my room ready made. I waited in the meantime in the extensive lounge. The room is right size, offers a table with two chairs and a work area for the laptop. As in all Radisson-hotels is the Wi-Fi in the price included, which for me is abroad, often is crucial. Overall the hotel is very well-kept and in ... my opinion with a good value for money.
About the location: the hotel is very central. It is public transport easy to reach ( tram, metro, bus) and a train station lies in the immediate area. Also to the center from Budapest by the pedestrian precinct and the numerous shops it isn't far. Also the Donau and the hill located opposite with the fishermen's bastion, etc. Are not too far away. read more

We were in the this hotel for five nights as a part of a städteurlaubs. The location, for a city break something to do, i would as good. Many bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Tram drives on the doorstep and u-bahn, and airport are within easy approximately 400 meters distance. The condition of the room i would ageing until slightly in need of renovation to describe. Everything worked, but you should not that much expect luxury. For example, the was probably the iron proposed folding table when the attempt of aufklappens with its mounting from the wall, or ... the mountings in the bathroom were very scratched.
Often we used the unfortunately somewhat undecorated pool in the basement of the hotel ( about 5 to 10 metres, no windows) and a corresponding sauna. You should no wellness oasis expect, we did just as short relax after some hours walk through Budapest to appreciate. Until 18 o'clock is also a lifeguard present, then can the pool continue without supervision can be used.
Breakfast was more than enough and well, the dining room like the rest of the hotel a little dusty.
I would even speculate, that the whole facility around 10 to 15 years on the embossment and overall a renovation appropriate, especially if you the hotel with the requirements of the chain Radisson compares.
Fair is reflected the condition but also in the prices of the hotel again, therefore we found the peel price-performance ratio reasonable read more

For a business trip or a short weekend break recommendable nonethelessin the staff and the cleanliness is nothing to complain about. The room was for the price perfectly OK, the bathroom was clean. Bathrobe there was on demand free of charge. The whole hotel is a non-smokers- hotel which pleased us very well.
The breakfast buffet was varied and from the quality perfectly reasonable. The restaurant we didn't visit, we were always eat out.
The location is ideal around the whole town on foot to explore.
What was not so good: the room was on the busy street convenient, it ... drove trams all 10 minutes and very often ambulance with actinic light and siren. read more

Since we a city trip have made, the hotel should quickly with public. Transport to reach be. This criterion has been fully met. But the hotel is on a main road, so that the noise level at night was to be heard clearly. (Open window) the room were spacious, clean and the furnishing was a four star house-this could be said of the buffet not so. The selection was something limited.
A particularly good restaurant recommendation from the reception: restaurant FIRKASZ in the Tatra Str. 18 super Hungarian... I
