The hotel respectively the whole complex are in a very good condition, the great garden was constantly well-kept. Although it many rooms returns, spread the vacationers always good. You had to rarely anywhere standing in line or waiting. read more

    We had a garden premium room. The room is large and spacious. The bathroom is already a bit dated, but all was always clean. As others have described, were the rooms however very badly soundproofed. If the neighbour then the whole night through loud snorer, the sleep sometimes not so easy...

    The food is good. We have always found something, what tasted good for us. We only used the grill and the italian restaurant, also because the offer in buffet very varied is. For cleanliness and hygiene sets the hotel apparently much value. Got, for example, each guest when entering the buffet-style restaurant a spatter handgel.

    The staff was very friendly, at least, if you gave friendly. Over a small tip each. With english you mostly good clear. Almost nobody spoke german, but we do not expect that either, if we 10 hours far away flies.

    The animation was very varied, however not pushy at all. We only two evening shows looked at, but they were very professional and entertaining. The hotel is located directly on a beautiful beach. This was cleaned every day. There was at any time free chairs, but really some a new purchase stand. In bad weather we gladly billiards and Kicker in the core zone is played. What we rather the one negative was, was the fact, that every child, no matter how young, free access to the consoles and games such as ego- shootern has.

The hotel has approximately 500 rooms in several blocks in caribbean style. Room and bathroom were always very clean from the cleaning lady left. (don't forget to tip, the income is very low), internet connection in the room best. We stayed in the 3225 (2 king size beds) Tourists of all nationalities pleasant. About 70% french. Canadians, 20% spanish, the rest: german, swiss, austrians. read more

    Room big enough, mattress alright. Furniture dated, air conditioning was quiet, the bathroom was nice and big, unfortunately with shower curtain in the bathtub

    Only drawback, the french restaurant was way too cold of of the airconditioning set. We said it to the lady at the entrance, was it however rather no matter. As outside the temperature only about 19° and the wind is very cold blew, all open designed, ; lobby and so on. It was very unpleasant. There was no warm place find. Quality and quantity of the dishes was alright. Cleanliness. Is wasn't quite german standard (we were satisfied).

    The dominican are my empfindens still friendlier than the thais. Was very surprised by the courteousness and friendliness, speed the waiter (especially marlin for breakfast and other during dinner in the main restaurant). We do not speak french or spanish, english and still had fun with the staff. No complaints

This hotel has a very big complex. Despite heavy load runs it. This hotel is very beautiful to relax. The beach is before the 'door'. The staff is very friendly. During dinner times in the main restaurant needed one never had to wait in line, there were enough tables available. The rooms were cleaned daily. There german guests minority (mostly french, canadians, spaniards) lacked german translation (reception, staff, restaurant). Weather was very good. read more

Here you can a very relaxing vacation spend, there is lots of offers over the whole day and the agony of the choice, which very good restaurants you want to visit. Through the daily flyer (also on german!) You in the diversity the daily changing entertainment highlights pointed out. The communication in the hotel worked in english, spanish or french very well, with german it is difficult. In this hotel finds in our opinion each of his individual to relax, rather quiet or more action. read more

The hotel has a huge garden, the always in perfect and well maintained condition is! Wifi is available, but not inclusive. You can but weekly for 25 $rent ☺ Near our stay were very a lot of french people, americans and british suburb. German less. From the average age we were surprised to find... 60% of the guests were so from 60 to 75 years old (i think great, am i in the age still so reisefit am ☺ For food you need not worry. All-inclusive was really around the hour and for every taste ☺ read more

    The rooms as described in the catalog. A huge bed with a balcony/terrace. Minibar, air conditioning, coffee maker (coffee is refilled daily... You need not go). The furniture are a bit outdated. Closets did not close and when the drawer to have, i think the neighbor from bed ☺ Everything was clean (one may never forgets, you not to housewives art ) ☺

    The friendliness is in this beautiful hotel unfortunately patchy. In some (particularly worldcafé -found & desk) staff the feeling, the annoying... And we are really easy-care guests! Of course there was also very nice and endeavored staff, which you of course a few dollars to leave ☺ Doctor & child care was not used by us.

    Talk to you in the hotel for who wants it really whole day. It is the day before a programmzettel by the door pushed, as you can all read. The place very nice, but not used by us, we like the hustle and bustle on vacation not, like to our cup of tea ☺ The kids club with its activities also always around the children concerned...     The hotel is situated right at the sea. We are (unfortunately) santo domingo and had a transfer (& at night) from good 1st rate. Back (lunch) 1.45 hour, so do Punta Cana take. The next place is bayahibe, small fishing village... But you have to not, more like pushy salesmen, there is not much to see.

The garden is very big and very neat. You constantly saw gardeners the work is. Such a nice hotel i up to now experienced. The hotel is otherwise also very clean and tidy. The guest structure and the average age is multicolored mixed. It has 751 rooms in 7 blocks divided. Because of the size but it is never crowded. The partially very negative reviews i can't understand. These people should ask, whether they ever somewhere on the world were satisfied?! I think not! Clear one can always find things, the be improved can, but it was the best hotel ... in the i up to now, we recovered very well. read more

    We had a renovated room (premium deluxe ) on the ground floor in the building 7. the balcony is big enough and was quiet for a small nature park. The the rooms noisy, i can confirm. However, since my apartment in Germany also very badly soundproofed is, was the but not disturb.. The closet smelled a bit musty, so i lived out of the bag have. This is however on the humidity and is simply not to change.

    There is a mexican, italian, steak restaurant, asian, french, Seafood restaurant, dschungelrestaurant and a büfettrestaurent (at night as well open) and 24 hours room service. You can 24 hours long food if you want ☺ There is also a coffee shop in the many cafes or choco's can. Through various theme buffets and the wide choice of restaurants is enough variation available. For lunch there were pizza by the pool (delicious), and snacks at the beach. The food we mostly tasty, unfortunately, it was the buffet sometimes only lukewarm.

    Champagne reception, bellboys, 24 hours room service (a blessing, if you got sick in bed is), drinks are by the pool/beach. The entire staff is very friendly. Complaints were immediately taken care of. On a Dollar tips every employee. German is hardly spoken. English yes, it is however partly only a basic vocabulary lacunary available. There was often problems, if you do not have ice cubes wanted, no milk in its coffee, you get white wine instead of red wine or tea instead of ice tea. The ärztedienst i would only in case of emergency to visit. I just wanted to a sick note have, because i 3 days with cough and fever in bed spent. They wanted me there not investigate and no sick note issue, but i go to the hospital. What is even a physician locally? The i of course not made. As a trip costs then rout 900 Dollar. So health insurance not forget and for sufficient credit card limit can choose ensure, if something serious is!

    Beach and the pools were very clean. There was always enough chairs, no matter wether one early or late lunch wanted to go swimming. By palm trees, umbrellas or small rooftops there was always enough shade. You always got a fresh towel. There is fresh fruits at the beach and lots of tasty cocktails at of the pool bar. Above average wait was not Animation gives it also for example Volleyball, bike tour, archery. If you took part, you got dreamsdollar, in an auction by the pool against coffee, rum or clothes be used could. We 2 shows in the theatre viewed, the very nice were. Every evening there was another. There is also a disco, the very decorated up to date it is however not very crowded (it is not a party hotel). The casino we didn't visit.

    The transfer of Punta Cana took 1 hour. Bayahibe in 15 minutes from the beach from reach. To santo domingo one drives approximately 2 hours. Shops are rather bad. In the hotel there is a shop, a cigar shops and a jeweler. The shops are but rather expensive (but nevertheless still cheaper than at the airport!). On monday and the thursday vendors came to the main pool, where you also jewelry and pictures can buy.

Nice hotel with large rooms. With differences in of the category there is. Everyday the rooms were cleaned properly. There was a mini bar, the every day restocked. Coffee machine. Kaffeepats and creamers there was also always freshly. There is a dvd player, but no german dv's (films) can play. Music cd'schon. An alarm clock with i-phone-station. Nothing to complain about. The rooms are somewhat noisy but you have that almost everywhere in the Karibik. The hotel has a very nice garden, the super well-kept. The beach is not besonderrs nice. If you like to take long beach walks, there ... is not in good hands, as you in 10 minutes expired has. The loungers at the beach were partly broken and worn. But there were always beach chairs replaced. No wonder, with the multiplicity of thick people we have since seen. What has us totally gene ffs, was the background music at of the lobby, at the bar and on the corridors. Two weeks the same heisere voice of a cd. read more

    The hotel is located off of other hotels. You can at the beach to the small ort bayahibe walking, there is however not really something to see. We were there only in the supermarket, as we the made too expensive prices in the hotel shop not want to pay. There are some souvenir shops at the end from the beach however the people were very pushy and wanted the old dusty Mist for a lot of money spend. Different excursions from the travel agent and the Travel agent from the hotel offered. The excursions but all rubbish. The prices overpriced and mass processing. No matter where you go. This Karibik not to do so. This is only mass tourism and kanta.

    The variety of dishes and drinks for a all inclusive hotel already super. The restaurants are very good and the drinks you have international drinks. Very commendable. Also buffet was always really good. Here you could only very high level complain about! Our patience, however, in the morning for breakfast always strained, since it is rarely a coffee cup had, but a waiter with coffee not ziständig is, a cup of to find in the coffee pour can.     The beach is really small but clean. A short walk and you are in the village of bayhahibe. Has but also nothing interesting to offer except excursion boats and pushy salesmen. Excursions could be booked everywhere and it is of course important, how much you want to pay. Over the travel agent we booked of the hotel a trip to the isla Catalina and santo domingo booked. These excursions were a third cheaper than at the german tour operators and were very nice. Of course everything is mass tourism, but again: if you don't like and somewhat individual searches must pay for it!

Openly said some cards my vacation read (negative) urlaubskritiken me already somewhat confused. However this hotel with the facilities, services and staff convinced me. This hotel i can 'nur' recommend it and i can with the best will do not understand, how this negative reviews may arise. Perhaps seasonal great, the congestion run. I can only emphasise, that i a very good service experienced. This hotel i would in any case book again. The hotel lies at the south coast and the caribbean sea. Punta caca against the transition between the atlantic ocean and the caribbean sea. My feeling is ... this in addition, that the sea at the beach from the 'Dreams La Romana' clearly quiet is. Very good to me amongst others the number of specialty restaurant pleased. These can spontaneously or after daily arrangements without reservation (and without limitation in the number of visits ) taken into account are. Small drawback: between 19:45-20:15 is the rush hour, it can happen, that a table not free and a small waiting time take is. For bigger groups recommends a reservation. For friends of a 'surf and turf' i can 'ocean' highly recommend it. A point of criticism is however with the wi-fi. For a hotel this category i expect a free use (luckily i on this vacation not to use). In the evening were places to sit at the bars - particularly in the outdoor area - miss anything. If you have 'schauinsland' the excursion to santo domingo bay, should its expectations regarding the reference of history a little trim. Maybe i am a little too critical, but on the prior to santo domingo after 30-45 minutes already a first see a pause (a shopping center). In santo domingo was the way from the restaurant in the cathedral with a visit to a souvenirgeschäfts shortened. After the visit of the cathedral were then the guests 90 minutes of free time for shopping (or what you happened explored ) available. Here i clearly more promised and other vacations experienced (and a. in Havanna). Beautiful garden area, the constantly is maintained. Since no use of all-inclusive wristband is necessary, should all-inclusive the only verpflegungsart be. The guests come from all over the world, mostly of course USA and Canada. However no striking americans like the hotel in Punta Cana knows. As during the spring-break ' we know of course not. The hotel very kept very clean, even the toilet at the beach is constantly a member of the cleaning staff on-site. ... The main restaurant is one could have a cargo disinfectant. There is wi-fi too fairly extortionate prices. The weekly rate is 60 American Dollar. In this respect, i can say, that the but not switched off, so that the weekly price only 30 American Dollar fraud ☺ there are also hour and tagestarife, the in comparison but still more expensive. read more

    Our room the pictures in the catalog. Size standard, furniture alright, air conditioning system functioned perfectly, flat-tv with 1 german channel (Deutsche Welle), but with various usable connections (if someone tray or something like to give my support, hdmi adapters carry forward). Cd/dvd player. Unfortunately the cleaning lady had no desire on handtuchakrobatik, we had only once decoration on the bed. Apparently the 20 American Dollar tip but not enough ☺ clean was it in any case, as mentioned, the capitalized here. Telephone, minibar, hair dryer (respect, german standard hairdryer with adapter only at half strength), coffee maker with complimentary coffee. All rooms have a balcony or terrace, however we had a bit of trouble, as it was a corner room and our balcony after 3 sides was open and behind us the stairs hinaufging. The rooms themselves are quite noisy, but not so disturbing was there no crying children on the way were. There were very many already early in the room.

    The staff is very friendly, they greet constantly and parts with the food or similar to their name. German knowledge we cannot say much, since we mostly immediately on english were transferred.     The infinity -pool is very nice, however it smells a side a great after toilet. Where the we didn't see. The main pool is a kletterstein for children, very nice idea. During our holiday time there were also always enough free chairs available. Furthermore there was a separate pool for guests the preferred-clubs, as well as a small jacuzzi with a view on the sea you (for probably much too much money) for a day can book. The beach is not so nice, since it was relatively narrow. It is possible but enough sunbeds there (the may however be replaced) and palms and trees were as shade available. The beach is cleaned daily. Sunbathing area for prefered club guests is our opinion not nice, so no reason prefered club to book. The sea was however very nice, a small separate area, always enough room. But we didn't get to all areas into the water, as for the part of a wall in between. The front of the hotel are partly also stones in the water, so always slow go. The entertainment team put in so much effort. Note: there are other than the stage by the pool a 'theater', in which mostly the evening entertainment was. Unfortunately, we got the first not so completely understood, since we believed 'where the stage, since the theaters'. The theater is a closed area, which we personally didn't like so much. In the evening one receives a information-note in its language (with partly very funny translations) for the entertainment the next day. Because of the size the hotel that is already very convenient. There is record which when where staffindet. Here is also noted what restaurants and bars when opened, the theme restaurants have not every day open.

    The drive from the Punta Cana International Airport took about 1 hour (we have the new highway). About the country would drive probably about 2 hours cost. The complex itself is in the middle of nowhere. Shopping in bayahibe. The way to get there is on the beach probably about 10 minutes, if you provide the local sellers to be missed, the bounce as soon as you get to the end of the hotel zone is coming... In the hotel there was a tobacco shop (attention, cigarettes cost as much or more than we, depending on the sort, thus absolutely in the flier buy!) A gift shop and currency exchange. The currency exchange changes but only in dominican Peso, one has in the hotel no possibility large American Dollar-bills in smaller to change. This should be borne in mind if the than gratuities wish to use.

Were after our cruise in dreams and for us it was a dream. We have stayed in Punta Cana and now for the first time in La Romana. And we liked it better. It is a quiet hotel where you always plush corners for those seeking peace is. The spa with small whirlpool and great. Also at the beach you can a small pool for rent alone. We were with the selection of the restaurants and the quality super contently everything was delicious and as a large selection available. Some of the hotel reviews here i do not understand, are the people, the really always look for the negative or the reason to 'negative' people?! Of course, there is in this hotel the a or other, what still in need of improvement, but you will in every hotel find, unless it is a 6 star hotel, although i have not even in such a hotel am convinced, that all are happy. The hotel is in a good to very good condition, is very pflanzenreich is (partially with descriptions) green and you feel there probably. Also the rooms are nice ... and above all large, there, there are but actually the several times mentioned lack, that the rooms very poorly soundproofed are, one understands nearly each word, what next door talking, at least if not straight quietly talked about. The à la carte restaurants are great, of course, ' always the same choice ' between 5 and 10 main courses, but if you change, go in another the 7 restaurants and not always only in the same! There was also the buffet, which indeed is not too shabby either, there is every day theme change (which are occasionally also times, but as mentioned there is so much other choice.), the food is definitely very tasty and furnished to a high standard and sufficient variety and selection, there are definitely! Only for breakfast i occasionally things missed, is a typical american style, but it is still full, as you definitely found something has. The entertainment i only partly used, but one has also so often enough what hear a thing, but that none was importunate the animation team, which very good i found. The beverages at the bars were enjoyable to very good, but some things definitely not with high-quality alcoholic beverages mixed have been, which we sometimes also tasted, especially to the beach- and pool bars. At the lobby bar but always all available national and international drinks (free of charge) order, which the other bars only conditionally possible was, what the international selection of drinks-wise. The beach every morning cleaned superficially and from a staff with a special ATV or of employees with handrechen fair. One of the flaws at the beach is however actually the partially saggy and rarely broken sun lounger, the unfortunately not more particularly comfortable. If you're lucky (and promptly at the beach is) you will find a intact or comfortable chair. But die these idiots probably never, the very early in the morning where every normal person probably slept on beach sprint and tons of reserve chairs or sometimes i even noticed late the first beach chairs for the next day with towels and other utensils are reserved. Then in the afternoon around 3 on the beach and one hour to spend there! So what i hate! As well, if a family with 4 people on the beach is, as is not enough a or perhaps 2 couches around the bags and other utensils to fit, no as, of course, each of which 2 pool chairs, a mood, if it times occurs and a book or perhaps also a bag or something to do! The large umbrellas at the beach are very useful and i found quite pleasant, if you have a space including got. Summary conclusion: The hotel has its 5 stars well deserved, even if some things could be improved and also be improved should. I don't know, if the rating sheet, everyone at the end its stay have to fill out, indeed, in some circumstances, such as the beach chairs change. It was at least a lovely vacation in a beautiful and good hotel in a beautiful location, right next to the sea and in direct proximity to bayahibe, where you can go shopping! My possible next and therefore then 3. the cathedral. Republic visit i will consider to this hotel again to go! read more

Am now already the 3. time in this hotel and it is definitely again exceptionally beautiful! The staff and the quality of the hotel are top! The food and the shows in my opinion have since last time improved! We booked our excursions at the beach the gris gris d. booked! Andreas, Pedro and Berlin are very willing to make an effort, the excursions as well as possible to plan and after desire to make \u263a the diving in the caribbean sea is also very recommendable! My first dive with Andreas was an unforgettable experience! On the whole is the ... beach imaculate! The beach chairs could better re-stressed are, otherwise there was in this hotel nothing to complain about! We would definitely come again back:-) read more

    The rooms are big with 2 double beds and a private balcony. The view from 90% the room is just on the facade of the opposite building. In between it a few palm trees. In the building 1 i had the luck a exterior room to get, that view of the green jungle had. Exactly the same had but also this room a connecting door to the neighbor room. Actually for families thought, all seem rooms in the hotel a türe to have. So you should then confidently each word of the neighbors and white also always which tv channel the neighbor look. Should the neighbor not the same circadian rhythms have, one was lost. Without ear plugs, you are as lost Even if you its own air conditioning turns off, there was always someone of this the whole day walk left. Appropriate humming noises are also always hear. Another sightseer in the hotel told me, that in the neighbor room the alarm went loosely and not longer sleep could not. The hotel had no functioning second key and had to the door burst open around the clock to switch. With a reasonable lärmisolation and without these stupid door, you could also with a pipswecker the neighbors nor further sleep. There is a mini bar with mineral water, Cola, Sprite and beer, which daily including refilled. It also has a coffee maker. Mostly people so small ants the rooms, however not continue to disturb.

    For my needs always an important factor! There is 7 speciality restaurants, which do not need to be reserved but the quality the product and above all its preparation was poor. Ok was still the breakfast in the main restaurant with a large selection of really everything possible: various eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, beans, bacon, ham, cheese, muesli, fruits, etc. Etc. Everything but the usual 'cheap quality', so form ham, galertartige sausages... Nevertheless okay, thanks to the wide choice. Lunch at the beach simple dishes, which didn't get to try and in the main restaurant always a large buffet. The dishes were here rather simple, spaghetti with various sauces, a few slices, there was pasta, here rice with geschnetzeltem. Since the main restaurant the meals over a longer period offers, were the dishes also always very well done. Meat was mostly very tough. The dinner specialty restaurants were nicely celebrates, but with little understanding. There is a dress code for the restaurant. Luckily it was not completely so strict compliance with 2 restaurants (Bordeaux and sea grill) would be t-shirts but also polo shirts not allowed defendendo; exclusively langarmhemden were permitted and the at 28 degrees! I think a respect of certain table manners quite appropriate, but it should have the climate be adapted. You were at the table, the chair delayed, the napkin placed ready: everything very pleasant. The menu selection sounded promising but the preparation was so bad, the presentation not nice and everything on the plate lag worked somehow not harmonious. For example a as crevetten cocktail with mango announced starter in a Martini-glass without unterteller serves. There were about 5 crevetten in mango drowned. Now you stood in front of the problem with the large fork somehow the crevetten from the juice to fish. Thereby tilting over all the glass way... So they tried then not book on etiquette-like such a part of hand out to fish. Finally a soft part caught, you will see, that tails still are. The crevette tasted then also badly after fish, for what not on fresh sachets. I was not the only guest, on this evening with the cocktail herumärgerte or desperately trying with the extra session steak knife ordered 'fillet' in mundgerechte pieces to sabers. The neighbor at the other table had with his lamb not more luck and a neighbor at the other table had a fish, so overpowering smell, that it largely are left. The restaurant 'el jungle ' - somewhat remote with tables in the sand was already comfortable, the meals typical dominican. The was very ok. In the el Peso - the mexican restaurant. There was even a-although over-salted-piece of meat, that you even as' soft ' can describe. Amt. The hygiene i had no problem. In the restaurant 'el jungle' but tap water with extreme chlorine smell serves. Maybe they wanted here just an authentic feeling generate... I then water with carbonic acid order, that became then emission-free offers. Inclusive was ever a red and white wine, and a rose. All spanish origin. The white wine was even good. The red wine was drinkable. Bottles from 20 $until about 130 $offered. The drinks at the bar there were usually not really great. As a Mojito ordered broth, i could despite several attempts did not drink. Only in the kaffeehaus bistro on the internet-coffee was a wide selection of hot and cold coffee and schokoladengetränken with alcohol. I had to first my bags into the lobby and then everything was back to the more distant building. Nevertheless, all in all have the employees all effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

    The entertainment offer was ubiquitous. Who prepared to concede has certainly the a or other exciting experience. I have only a cooking class watched and was amazed at how light, as a Paella through constant stir up a compact mush cooked. Because of the time difference i wanted to the first days rather to bed early. That was possible but the bass the pool-parties, bars etc. Hammered until into the night. I have therefore my stay the building 3 in the building 1 moved.

    A bit run down hotel with moderate kitchen, loud room in a nice hotel.

    The hotel is located a bit isolated, about 45 minutes drive from the Punta Cana International Airport not far away from the small village of bayahibe. Bayahibe can be reached on foot from the hotel on the public beach in a couple of minutes. Otherwise the hotel offers but no shuttles at. Land and people who wants to explore, must be either expensive trips or also overpriced rent a car. (80$ per day, although 40 $and less usual). I had luckily from the driver, which me on behalf of LTUR from the airport to the hotel brought, the number required and could be used as a whole day with a private taxi for 120 $around. That was a very fair offer. My driver back to the airport would have for the same drive the dual demands. The beach must publicly held, but of the hotel-security still cordoned off. It is flat and relatively windless (especially compared to the beach of Punta Cana).
