This is really lovely place.
Is just 10 steps from train/bus/ferry station.
I had corner suite on 28th floor and view of Sydney Opera was amazing.
All people were very friendly (reception, pool, club lounge).

The IC Sydney is located in the middle of town, just a stone's throw of darling harbor and the opera house. To the port are it maximally 5 minutes on foot. We had a superior room king -bed. The room was nice and big, had a very good, large bed and was tastefully decorated. The view was facing the city, better said to a high rise building opposite ( a room with view of the harbor was then too expensive). Unfortunately in the room rate no breakfast included in the price, although the for this price would have been appropriate. ... For that there was a daily newspaper every morning after choice on the room. The bathing area was I disappointed, since there for example no jacuzzi and the pool area ( indoor swimming pool) somewhat neglected worked, since towels herumlage and the couches cross and crosswise stood. Unfortunately we have us a cockroach from the pool field brought into the room.
Well, at least the fantastic view from the pool over the complete port this area's highlights. Apart from that the hotel was but very clean and tidy. read more

Very beautiful hotel in the best location downtown. A upgrage in the international club on the top floor is very recommendable. On the one hand you a superb views of the city, to the other you can not only ein'erstklassiges breakfast, but also during the day a drink and the view. The pool is not very big, but clean and also with city views. read more

We were stunned, as we the room. Very nice room, large, welcoming with great views. It is very stylish equipped and very quiet. The bathroom was also very nice and contrary to some comments absolutely okay. The staff are very friendly.
Only downsides are the prices for extras such as breakfast and cleaning. We thought it was overpriced.
Location wise, the hotel is ideally located. read more

The Intercontinental is great nearby the botanic gardens, the ferries, the opera House and harbor bridge. We recommend a room with a view of the bridge and the opera house. Within walking distance is 15 minutes in the city. All major transport Zentrum are only a couple of hundred meters away. For a city trip or a stopover in the best way suitably. read more

The hotel is very centrally located, only a few steps away from the Circular QUI and opera house. From there you can travel by bus, ferry, and subway all of the attractions and beaches. I had a room on the 21st floor with a view of the city, very spacious, well furnished, and almost always perfectly clean. The hotel's facilities (sport, catering) I didn't use. There are countless restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity, but these are still very expensive (like most in Australia). The hotel is at walking distance from the center by foot. The staff was extremely ... friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

The hotel is very smart and the staff all very helpful and friendly! Our room (2023) in 20. Floor was a corner room with a view of the harbor and the bridge and it was very spacious. The room was nicely decorated and very clean! The central location of the hotel, are opportunities for shopping, restaurants and the port in just a few minutes per feed away from our hotel. The pool and the gym are located in the 31. Floor with a great view. The view from the fitness studio is geared toward city, the pool area offers a ... really amazing views of the bridge, the Opera House and the botanic garden. The pool is heated and absolutely clean. Towels are at your disposal. The staff at check-in and the Concierge service were very nice and helpful. We have enjoyed our time there and felt very comfortable! read more

Very good hotel in top location from Sydney, all transportation, and Opera
and harbor bridge are within walking distance. Breakfast was very varied in good quality. As we stayed there in the Australian winter, the price of the hotel was including early/check-in. Very nice and well heated pool
31. Floor with a great view over the city. I would book this hotel anytime again. read more

Great hotel the 5 -star category; 33 floors, the upper are reserved for the club rooms, at the top is the associated Club Lounge. Business and leisure guests of all ages Annually; indeed some celebrities (in our case was just Roger Moore inside). The hotel was built around the old Treasury Building; this created for example. An original lobby bar. read more

The hotel is very centrally located, you can for all the hotels in this corner can't go wrong, short distances to everything the tourists desires is there. We had a room with a view of Harbor Bridge and the Opera House (at least a tip of them) which was cheaper than the room with "only" view of the Opera House, from there you could not see more, the more expensive price is rubbish. Rooms are nice and not too big, bathroom ok, breakfast delicious in a beautiful room. For a short stay in Sydney it was great, if we had ... stayed longer, I would have been annoyed the small size of the room. recommendations: We had bus tours from the Cirqular Q. (3 minutes walking distance) with Sydney Explorer and Bondi Express - highly recommended. Get off at places, 15 minutes later, the nearest bus, ideal for a quick way to get around the city. Take ferry to Manly, cheaper than a harbor cruise, you see as much and can be kind in Manly a coffee. read more
