The hotel is located directly by the beautiful beach in the algarve cliffs. Unfortunately it is a bit out of the way, you have to about 30 minutes by bus until to Albufeira, from there to other locations. The hotel itself is in spite of the size inside well arranged and everything was immediately to find. The rooms are really big and toilet and bath were separated. The breakfast in the hotel is every day the same nothing special. In january were not lots of guests in the hotel. Unfortunately were because of the few guests lots of shops closed ..., as for example also the restaurant in the hotel. read more

    Large enough, with a balcony and depending on the floor with a great view of the pool or the sea. Toilet and bathroom were separated. On tv there were a few german channels and there was also in the room a small refrigerator. Safe can one also rent. The room overall seemed however somewhat 'old' and cool from the furnishing. And unfortunately, unfortunately crawled as something on the floor in the bathroom. This is not at all!

    Restaurant in the hotel was unfortunately around the hour closed. For breakfast there was everyday the same. But it was still ok. One was from the staff during the meals didn't bother us, with questions they were but immediately to the place.

    The staff was, overall friendly and helpful. English from the staff so far sufficient. The cleaning of the rooms in the rule it was also well done.

    As hardly any guests or children were available, no animation, no kids club or similar. Although the temperatures nobody in the pool went, it was still every day cleaned. The beach is only a few meters behind the hotel. On the first glance everything was clean. The swimming pool but was not the best impression.

    From Faro it is a good minutes by car until to the hotel. In the off season were lots of restaurants and supermarkets in in the area completely closed. One had good 35 minutes on foot walk, to the first supermarket to arrive. Shopping and night life is therefore also zero in in the area. Either one rents a car or must go with the bus. During the week this right is regularly, but in the evening only to shortly after 18 o'clock. Is anyway, overall rather quiet.

An ageing sportlerhotel in a great location. Friendly staff - cleanliness of the room left after several days to be desired. - food and service in consideration of the (reasonable ) price good to very good. - rental car is recommendable, - by the stay from sports groups sometimes a bit noisy-stricter respect to adherence to rest and recommendation at the hotel management, Altogether: for athletes and hike on really recommendable - with good value for money. read more

Unfortunately will complaints not taken serious! The indoor swimming pool is actually because of dirt and dilapidation be closed. Unfortunately hear the cleanliness directly on hotelzaun on. Really important it would be the immediate area so the beach section and approximately 200 meters the left and to the right to keep them clean. You could but a local search, the for a beautiful breakfast or a payment regularly the garbage ourselves who just threw. The vacationers also want a clean environment find what financially hardly weight but I would Growth in hotel guests! read more

The hotel has a gorgeous area. It has seen ist best years and most urgent renovation. As there now four stars together come, I do not know. Perhaps 20 years ago times... Since we only booked breakfast have, I can say, it is enough and there is something for everyone. Wellness area is very pleasant and can be fun. Staff speaks only English, but also ok. klohspülung constantly broken. Room changing possible. The dreamlike beach area entschädet everything. So as mentioned, no 4 stars! read more

Except for the non-German-speaking of the staff/ front desk this something in need of renovation hotel, for vacationers the absolute peace search, exactly the correct. Room and buffet ok. Very few children in the hotel ( fall) and therefore total peace. The beach is the absolute Blast. Gladly come again! read more

The dreamlike location of the hotel right next to the sea is unique. The hotel lies slightly off the beaten track, a car is recommendable. The design of the room 412 with a view of the sea was fine for us. We had everything, which we needed. To the time of travel many germans tourist present, few have. Serving staff always friendly. The offer the main courses evenings was well arranged, always next to meat also a fish dish offered, as well as A variety of pasta that changed daily. Several appetizers, selection of salads and delicious bread, as well ... as a dessert buffet, however while we were there of the stay without ice cream. Pleasant dining room and good offered drinks. Pool outside and swimming pool inside, as well as jacuzzi available. In the lobby wi-fi for a fee, as well as internet station on the ground floor. Small shop in the hotel available. read more

80% of the staff are rather unfriendly, delayed service ( especially at the pool bar), audience over 65, nothing for young people. Great beach area. Beach chair with umbrella 10 Euro per day. In my opinion not a four star hotel. read more

Breakfast with a sort of sausage and cheese rather poor. But much fruit, muesli, yoghurt and so on dinner very varied with a sort of fish and meat. Two types of nudelaufläufe, fries, fried potatoes, rice completed the very tasteful food from. There was wonderful salads and delicious desserts. The staff very attentive and friendly. However it is on the complex very quiet and boring. read more

Who dreamlike view from rooms have would bay megabyte. The proximity to the beach was ideal, the quality of the water also. Wonderful walks. At night is outside of the hotel dead, -no stroll possibilities. The hotel's hairdresser had beginning October -there is no unemployment. Serving staff not trained, but arrogant (to 90%). We had this hotel coincidental, as we wanted a direct access to the beach without steps and other hotels in the immediate surroundings, the hotel has a fantastic location at the Algarve! Unfortunately the hotel has gotten old and know in many places a wishes flying on, however everything is clean. The garden by the pool is wonderful gewachsren, with very nice, high palm trees. We would at anytime spend another vacation there, we are both very travelled and can this hotel in the late season absolutely recommend. Very good peris -performance -proportion. It is to be noted, that it ... no animation and in the neighborhood are some small bars and restaurants no exciting - Galli. Everything was very quiet and for us just relaxing! read more

On the whole is this a great hotel. Food in varied the top. Also breakfast. Clean, friendly and relaxing. Direct access to the beach. Shops respectively shopping about 14 kilometer or at the beach in about 60 minutes. This hotel with all the bells and whistles I can in the best way further to recommend. The hotel has a unique location to the long sandy beach with a charming steep coast. Unfortunately the breakfast terrace beginning October closed, the a great view on a beautiful garden area with a view of the sea offered. From 1. October there was a very limited choice of dishes at the buffet, the already was very well arranged (1 sort of meat and 1 sort fish, spaghetti bolognese unbearable every day). The cheese buffet was totally deleted! Also after complaint was for dinner c E N cheese available. Right on the sandy beach the ' praia de Falesia' we were this year guests. A peaceful location without Halli Galli but nevertheless with regular evening entertainment. This hotel features approximately 260 rooms - 7 floors by 3 elevators reach can. In our opinion too few, since the elevators very narrow and very frequented, who suffers from fear of place should rush hours (in the morning and evenings to the meal times) the elevator avoid. Subdivides the alfamar beach in a main wing with very bright lobby and 2 wings. A hotel, if you the reviews other before left actually no mean surprises experience. That the hotel no new and therefore some areas run-down are is therefore known from the outset. We were with a rental car and despite GPS the hotel was very difficult to find, it is, that it front desk no official address returns. A ageing 4 star hotel. This house would be a thorough renovation good and first of all in the management.
