As a boutique hotel, all the rooms are different, but beautifully decorated with an attention to detail. Spacious, comfortable and very clean.

There is no restaurant in this tiny little boutique hotel with 7 rooms, as far as I remember. So we are only talking about breakfast, served in a beautiful breakfast room. Important to remember: in the vast majority of hotels in Canada and USA you have to pay extra for your breakfast - a thing to which we in Europe are absolutely not used to. And the breakfasts were so rich and tasty! Milk, cereals, yoghurts, cheese, ham, hard-boiled eggs and a variety of jams, etc. Plus naturally juice, tea, coffe - delicious!

The staff is not numerous, but very, very friendly. They all speak very good English, French naturally and also German and Russian.

You just can't be better located in Montreal. Auberge is right in the heart of the old Montreal within walking distance to all the major sites and attractions. And if you need to get a metro somewhere, it is just a few minutes' walk to the nearest metro station.
