We have in this hotel only one night spent during our 3-day Ayers rock-Kings Canyon tour. I think, the majority of the guests are also only one night here. For everyone the hotel has quite potential longer to stay there. The check in took a bit longer, as concurrently always several busloads of tourists arrival. Our room was at check in still not ready, so we at night after the sunset on the Uluru in our room could. In the lobby there were numerous places to sit and a stand, at the excursions and existing reservations by the supplier be ... confirmed could. The young woman here was very nice and all necessary telephone call for us done. The room was located in a one-story, -style complex (there was also building with 2 floors), was quite large, modern and clean. We had furthermore a small terrace, the to the pool showed. The bathroom was quite large with a large shower Cubicle. The pool ( we this on the next day quick view), looked at that point in time not so clean, quite a lot of sand because on the floor. Probably is the pool at this time of year not so high busy (, even though it was warm). Loungers there were also several. The hotel area was designed openly, you can directly nearby estate walk, where apartments were. To the center ayers rock resort, it was only a short hike (5 minutes), there was but also a free shuttle bus. On the 'square' in town there were some cafes, restaurants and a supermarket, as well as some souvenir shops. We were lucky and could in the afternoon a Didgeridoo players listen. Tip: if you need few meters in the direction 'outback pioneer' on a small hill, one has a marvelous prospect on Uluru and Kata Tjuta. read more

Dessert Gardens, still the best in the resort

We found the dessert garden hotel in the Ayers rock resort is the the best hotel, whereby value for money much to desire leaves. The night possibilities in the selection plentifully limited and the monopoly is in the price clearly noticeable. We had a room with a view in the Ayers rock posted. This name should be dropped, because the trees in front of the rooms, this view should have, are in the meantime so high grown, that one hardly still the contours of the skirt looks. A few few rooms this view maybe, our extra so booked room, however ... not. There are apparently different Renovierungszustände the room in the hotel, with us was only the bathroom modern. The breakfast buffet was in value for money too expensive, even if the fact, that all many hundred kilometers there needs to be. The real objective of all there travelers, is however the national park with Ayers rock and Olgas (Uluru-Kata tjuta national park) and everything is really incredibly impressive, particularly the Ayers rock-a holy mountain of Aboriginials. read more

the hotel is ideal for Ayers rock. The front door to the room had at least 4 centimeter air and some animals used the, US a visit visit. There may be lines. Scrape won't, but disgusting. The breakfast buffet was good, the coffee however terrible. We stayed new year's Eve, a real let down. The bar closed at 23 o'clock and one would have to neighboring hotel able to walk. We have the beginning sleepy, which has only just next morning Germany new year celebrated. read more

The location on the Uluru is a big plus, is what the society, the all hotels operates, of course also pay for. We were satisfied. Our room was a deluxe rock view. Cleanliness in the room would have something better be may, was but the Australian mid-range hotel-standard. Service was very friendly, very friendly and helpful luggage packer. read more

Since we tourists and would book then, we needed a while to us from the preisschock to relax. 500Dollar for a double room without breakfast even though we are not constantly. For professional reasons we got 50% and so we felt better. We have three hotels visited. This was the most expensive and the best. The rooms are very large, the bathrooms are spacious and considering you, in the middle of the outback, it is pure luxury. However, the whole already rip-off: 50 dollar breakfast, dinner $60, drive to the Uluru 50 dollar, entrance 25 dollar. Well, they do the ... Yes not every day. The food was nicely done, but not criticism of the chewy meat nor a bread improver were heard with great pleasure. Important information: there is a supermarket, a bank, a hairdresser, post office and small restaurants and other shops near the hotel. Somehow again sobering: As you can find the ness and find Knorr-fix products in the supermarket. But again, the food is not cheap. But since one with Australian check outs in the domestic food should always carry, you have to through some. Conclusion: great hotel, but we couldn't expect with the prices. read more

The room size was in order, the hotel itself was very winding. The room decor was absolutely dated, the carpet was dirty and sticky, he should be replaced immediately. We also had numerous roommates in the room (spiders, ants and BBQ's etc.) the price/performance ratio is absolutely not justified given that it was not a large selection, next time we will take a camper and try the campground. read more

Room with a view of the Uluru are great, if you don't mind the busy main. The food in the restaurant didn't appeal to us, above all, considering the price. But the location of the hotel, with many possibilities to avoid, let the suggests. Be posted 'sounds of silence dinner' is highly recommended! You should book from Germany as the prices are more! The hotel is for a couple of days in the 'outback' okay, for a longer stay but perhaps not suitable. The paths the grounds are also quite spacious. read more

The hotel is located right at the beginning of the Ayers Rock Resort. The shopping village with a supermarket, cafes, etc. Is within walking distance (7-10 minutes). The hotel has two restaurants. Other restaurants either on foot or with the resort shuttle within easy reach (like everything in the Ayers Rock resort). read more
