The hotel is in the immediate proximity the train, extremely disturbing, every morning at 5 o'clock early free wake-up service, terrible! The rooms are stuffy and dingy! At the staff it would be of advantage always a bit tip to give, apart from that you get very difficult place on the terrace for breakfast, general see the locals tourists as geldmaschinen! read more

A good hotel with friendly staff in all areas. Very good food, but the chefs the acuity issues. Also in 2013 we stay at the hotel bentota beach hotel stayed. This hotel we have been several years. It is a star hotel. However the bathrooms urgently overhaul, here is a certain 'disgust' use. Account you should however, in tropical countries very quickly, especially in the bathrooms, to mold is. As it always was, this will be through the general impression the hotel and the friendliness and willingness to help the staff made up for it. The new management has clearly a positive impact on the staff. To consider one must in the area service but, the clocks in ... Sri Lanka 'something different tick'. In other words, everything takes a bit longer. But, one has vacation \u263a! The garden is simply dreamlike and probably the most beautiful in the whole area of beruwela/bentota. The food is plentiful, tasty and wholesome. If you didn't get full here or can't find, is your own fault. Undertake you can in the region beruwela/bentota also independently very much. In any case but you should not only here look elsewhere, but also trips into the inland undertake. Sri Lanka is simply paradisiac and the furthest way is worthwhile definitely. Kandy and the tooth temple (with ceremony in the evening) are simply a must! We go next year definitely again there. read more

The hotel is in the catalog with 4-star rating. This classification does not correspond to the actual condition. The size of the room is ok, however requires the used by us, in particular the bathroom, a maintenance. The on the balcony and in the room existing pillows and cushions had to be urgently undergone a cleaning. We could only with full clothing use. In the face of us used haustrakt due to the weather verklemmten room-front doors should also urgently needed something be done, since each reasoning with enormous rumpus is connected to. This is especially at night unacceptable. With ... the supply (we had all-inclusive) we were very satisfied, quantity and quality were more than enough. Also stock not a problem, one of the numerous beach chairs in gertenbereich to use. The staff is without exception very nice and friendly. Negative for us was the turn of the year related indent of the russians. This corresponded between 50 and 70% the number.     The staff is, as already described, extremely friendly and helpful. As the colloquial language english is at least a small vocabulary of it. German spoke not many, but their friendliness help with gestures above average. The cleaning of the rooms could be improved, we have the whole time our stay no vacuum cleaner. It also helps the evening ausschmückeb of the beds with flowers not away.

    The entertainment of the evening consists essentially of the presence of live musicians, but the volume sometimes was considerable. 1-2 time per week were dancers and offered a local idea.     Since the highway not finished yet is, was the arrival time from the airport for 90 kilometer 3,5 hours. Excursions we did with our tour operator done, not with the beach boys. They can with each course to the sea very nice nerves. For individual trips is a station right nearby. The visit to the town alutgama on foot is a real challenge. You have to constantly the tractors escape, if one alone in a shop would like.

Really beautiful hotel. We only booked with breakfast. Is definitely completely sufficient and recommendable! Land and people who want to discover, should have a ' guide ' from the beach take. These are the young men in yellow t-shirts. Highly recommend is 'Sami' (real name: sampath ) he has us very much and given many tips. He has inlandsreisen organized with three or four days went. He is very honest and always eager to make things perfect. There is many good restaurants there, where you very good, for little money food. read more

We have this hotel because of a very good offer booked, therefore for us it was 'oK'. I would have also only 100 €more spent, I would greatly upset. Each of the peace, a relaxed location, fine cuisine and great service searches, I rate. Who simply a room for sleeping searches and much on the way is, for it may be OK. We had four nights in Kandy in Mahawali beach and when we were in this bentota hotel arrived, we were from our rooms disappointed. It was filthy, dirty and totally depressing. We complained at the hotel. The rooms ... had the whole time a very musty odor. - at night and above all in the early morning is the noise from the street and of course, the right on the hotel goes, and the morning Tempelgesänge from the speakers very easy to hear. - at every meal in the restaurant all waiter at all tables and thanks to a large expectations at a sumptuous tip überaufmerksam, so that it nearly impossible is in peace food and it just annoying. - towels on the loungers are in the evening collected and on the next day again in the loungers distributed. - also from the hotel itself the guests ripped off. Price for a Ayurveda treatment are not transparent and vary the negotiating skills of 60 to 80 Euro. Before written promises are not accepted. Food is very monotonous. Due to the extremely bad management are some guests met, the cards years in 'bentota beach' to guest were, but now no foot more inside would. A shame really, because the country Sri Lanka is beautiful, the Sri Lankaner are friendly and helpful people, the food of a the best on the entire world. The growing percentage Russian guests is however the offer and the preparation of the food less important, if enough alcohol served. A sad development in this hotel. This was the fifth time we'd stayed in this hotel and were up to small faults ( bathrooms need to be renovated in the room 506 and 512) satisfied again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the new spa area expensive but very nice. read more

The hotel offers with its size a good privacy. You 'sits not Co' and in the garden and section of the beach it has always enough couches and place, so that a large gap has. The hotel itself is quite large but the size of the area it has always the feeling there was enough space for itself to! there are twice a day room service and you can everywhere baar walk! I must not say more! the culinary offer are more than enough and for every taste absolutely sufficient! A very typical breakfast to become an area of Mediterranean evening everything was there! the mitt inhabitants were well mixed and never disturbing! English German Russians (neighborhood)!     we had a deluxe room about 45 square meters. View of the sea pool view! The furnishings there was no wishes open! Very comfortable bed, opportunities to sit desk, TV, air-conditioning, bathroom with very large shower, safe kettle with free tea coffee, bathrobes, Flip-flops and so on Thus Fully Equipped! room service twice a day! well-Kept! we felt very much at ease!

    The buffet restaurant was always top! Lot staff (where the napkin shot located we) which was always fast! The meals were always rich, typical of the country but also International! Something for everyone and without stomach to enjoy! the a la carte restaurant was impressive both the quality and taste of the atmosphere! ( fresh Kandel-fish) very recommendable! in the afternoon in the hotel area were in a very nice Young man advertised! the hotel bar was very pleasant( comfortable) laid out! There was almost every evening live class music! the pool bar and the pool restaurant also very good, as I would personally only a few longer opening hours liked! the tips are in Sri Lanka in the restaurant prices included! But of course it can be a little more if you satisfied with the times! 100 Rupee was the always value (80 cents about) but you get but also a very courteous service!

    compared to German hotels in Sri Lanka the ass powdered! The service staff is that on the ball as I seldom experienced! They always had a smile on their lips and the communication with English always very good!(a lot of them spoke German) as already mentioned were the rooms twice a day cleaned and evenings even with fresh Flowers lovingly decorated! The Bentota beach offers as well as a laundry service, as well as child care and many more which makes life easier! as the staff about us hard-working I would appreciate the complaints, which we never had, immediately atmosphere!

    Everything was just perfect! Activities available but not pushy! The hotel's own Host speaks very good German! Many events at the beach or hotel's own sports facilities (huge with spa gym yoga water ball pool pool and so on) this looked brand new way! the hotel garden is huge! With lots of palm trees shade donate! The typical German Reserve pool chairs here is not necessary! You could only in the afternoon and you always get free chairs! And if you wanted you FST alone! So plenty of room for all!

    If you through the magnificent garden, with the beautiful Palm trees and more than ample lounge chairs is gone, takes you directly to the nearly always deserted beach, right in front of the hotel begins! options for shopping offer in the hotel or directly in front of the hotel! about three minutes' walk away, over the bridge ( beautiful view of the river bentota) You're completely in the life of Sri Lanka... the drive from the airport the hotel is a little adventure tour! As traffic in Sri Lanka the western standard follows! In the week 3a four hours! We left Sunday early as we were in 2 hours airport! ( is however the rarity as soon!)

the rooms never became cleaned, but the hands for tips that was still OK. In the bath was mold on the walls. The shower was damaging, not on the lights beds. The repairs took over days. We had 4 weeks before departure for a room in the upper floors by fax beestellt, despite confirmation it was not possible 4 weeks staying in a room. The receptionists are partly by an intolerable arrogance. they are not aware, that their salaries from the guests to be paid. read more

This was my second time in this hotel and it was in a completely different memory. It is so unlovingly and has become. The management is up to the restaurant only during meal times to see. In the restaurant were then these people listlessly at the entrance and were twiddling their thumbs. Each waiter could do what he wanted. On my first visit there was a small dress code in the restaurant, unfortunately it is now past. I would not be surprised if the people soon in trunk for food would come. The supervisor you only saw to the meals ... punctually in the restaurant. Beware the bar and the pool bar is now video surveillance, there is no atmosphere more. As in the garden. From here guests every morning washed clothes to dry in a tree hung and some guests conversed with small children on the arm and scratched its Geschlechtsteil or buttocks with hinhabe. Disgusting! Guests came from Russia, Saudi Arabia, England and very few Germans. At weekends there were also local guests. Two of the three men were not to see the pool, not about 25 children played in the pool. Main task it was only in the morning and the towels at the pool to take a tip because it was to be expected. Then they were gone or sat in the bushes and slept. Also here no supervision or order. We had a superior room on the first floor of the main building for a bit more than a week inhabited. From the balcony we had a wonderful view of the garden and beach. Very nice sunsets right from the balcony. The is however the only positive to the room. The room is very small. Bathroom is very in need of renovation. Our room was right above the bar, the almost every day until 24 o'clock entertainment unfortunately, we were not offered. Intersted and wanted to rest, but this was not to be found. When we complained it was pointed ... out, that this maximum 2-3 times a week will be the case. Unfortunately, there were 5-6 times within seven days. We had it just bear. On our complaint was although promised further. The garden is very well maintained and the beach wonderful. You can see many animals up close. The towels and cushions for the beach chairs should be replaced. The food in the restaurant was very good and diverse, repeated after a week, but the variety wasn't't all that much negative. You want to drink a glass of wine with half board for dinner, you have to take a good look at the purse. It offers wine for about 30 euros the bottle. Wines from the card from about 40 euros los, (!) plus 23% service fee and 2.05% taxes. We can recommend the hotel because of the noise and the in need of renovation bathroom unfortunately not recommend. read more

    in the bar there is just a lack of evening entertainment and there is very little going on. Also the staff are very reserved. This is undoubtedly the camera surveillance together. the food in the restaurant is still varied and well, but no value on a dress code and cleanliness on the tables value located. For our stay were guests from the Emirates/Saudi Arabia in the restaurant. The table this people looked terrible and the floor was with leftovers covered. But despite complaint, the management couldn't do anything. Therefore in spite of the good food to the poor review.

I am the first time in this hotel, and it did not please me. The only good thing was the garden and the pool. As you will find your peace and quiet if you like.     Close by beach. Looking forward that the highroad to the airport will be ready. For tours go to the beach and ask for Neel First trip with L Tur Tour Guide was no good experience. He did not notice that I have a child and we had to pay a lot extra. Fortunately we met Tour Guide Neel de A. on the beach. He showed us many beautiful things. Took all the time and attention for my daughter. Fantastic trips and safaries. What a beautiful country! We will be back to see more of Sri Lanka with Neel. His prices are including entrees, so no unexpected suprises. We had the time to encounter en sense the real Sri Lanka

wonderful hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staffgreat point. For excursions in all directions, whether or not you want to in the tea plantations, in the' jungle' or so great. The long arrival (with us hour 3) from the airport is forgiven if you arrived. Sri Lankan airline is the best Flight gesell creates I ever flew ☺ A la carte-food above the clouds ☺ Remember always to go to the vacation, the wonderful (but poor) country, as someone who has never been außerhlab was frightened of Europe could. But the hotel was a dream, as well as our room ... and pretty Flowers on the bed. The chefs are extremely food and drinks offered was good. The all inclusive drinks surprisingly good. The complex very well maintained. The beach boys at the beach a little annoying, but after 2 times no thanks it was good. read more

All room have been renovated in 2010 and therefore correspond to the good facilities with the expectations of a 4-star hotel. The service offered by the staff was with the service in other Asian countries not to compare. It lacked many of the usual friendliness and helpfulness. To emphasize is the outstanding kitchen of the house with a varied and numerous dishes, the left nothing to be desired. There is the beautiful vast almost deserted beach to take long walks. Near the hotel there are no bars or restaurants it, so that we after a few days of half board ... for an additional fee on all inclusive have changed. read more
