Hotel Beau Rivage^{(2 stars)}

Very basic hotel, but the location made the lack of comfort in the room more than made up for it. The first 3 days we had a mountain view room, very small, tiny Bsdezimmer and an extra toilet, the very dated and therefore not so good smelled. Then we changed to a room with sea view and balcony, the rooms were a bit larger, also the Bsdezimmer and toilet were larger and more modern but still very basic, but the view of the beach and sea Fenomenal, place! We only had a room with breakfast but this was very basic ..., but every morning fresh bread, croissants, jam, cheese ( never sausage) and fresh fruit. The village itself is very small but nice, several restaurants (2 of them very good) and a great bar "Les Arcades" right on the sea front and right around the corner. We had a car rental, so we left it was varying, time to Ile Rousse or into Calvi with the Bummeleisenbahn. The mile long sandy beach is just a few steps away and heavenly! There are beach chairs could be rented, two beach chairs and 1 umbrella € 15 a day. At the beach restaurants you can start to lunch or get in the nearby supermarket a bread with cheese or sausage. In general, it was a very nice week, as I said, the hotel is very einfsch for low one needs, but who wants to spend their holidays directly on the sea a good choice. read more
