The jetwing blue is one of five jetwing hotels in negombo. It consists of a four-story main building, to the both sides, three-story building and has 112 rooms. The guests came from the most diverse countries, all age groups were there. We had booked half board, only breakfast or full board would also have been possible. Internet access via wi-fi was throughout the hotel available free of charge, speed and coverage were not ideal. The hotel made at first glance a clean impression on closer inspection you noticed but soon, that it with the cleanliness not so far away is. ... Although the hotel in the year 2010 has been completely renovated, in all areas partly clear flaws in the condition, which on inadequate maintenance / (renovation sachets.     We had a deluxe room and asked in advance by e-mail for a quiet room.     The hotel is located in the hotel zone of negombo (to the north of the city) directly by the broad sandy beach. The sister hotel jetwing beach is right next door, the jetwing sea and the jetwing Ayurveda villas are a few hundred meters -all on the same street, along the coast is. The hotel jetwing blue we can not recommend it. We have a super deluex room about 'jahnreisen' -this was wonderful nice. It was cleaned daily with a lot of love cleaned, the staff is in this respect, very attentive, very clean and conscientiously. One had a wish was immediately fulfilled. That food in the hotel jetwing blue was very good and varied. The cleanliness of the hotel itself was very good. The staff at the hotel were much and always trouble all wishes, as far as claims immediately to fulfill ( also without tips to get). The hotel beach is ... no Karibik beach, but cleaned daily and is very nice. The very positive about this hotel is, the direct access to the sea and no fence (as with many other hotels in negombo) beach and gardens is. The sunbeds at the pool and the beach are wooden pool chairs with thick cushions (very comfortable and clean). Beach chairs you get the whole day, no scarce in this hotel.     The rooms were big and attractively decorated, but the cleanliness of the bathroom unfortunately not all expectations. Mold was in large parts of the bathroom visible and it smelled easy unpleasant.

    The staff was very hard-working and always friendly. However one had sometimes the feeling they were overtaxed. The cleanliness of the rooms was borderline, for example there were no towels or toilet paper. The floor was rarely cleaned, the bathroom as well. It was moldy and smelled musty. Unfortunately there were no mosquito nets.

    Very nice large modern rooms with good furnishing. You can see into the bathroom through glass windows. Bathroom with a shower and a tub. Quite noisy air conditioner. Minibar, safe, flat screen tv (Deutsche Welle),everything was clean. We had a room on the ground floor, where it already rather noisy was. However, since a high mason behind the entrance door was we had a little protection from the adjacent street. Only no room on the upper floors in the main building or just take ear plugs!

    Large open restaurant where one could have breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had only breakfast, this was okay. There was western or asian. Lots of freshly cut fruit, eggs in all variants, crepes... But not very many types of bread, no rolls and muddy pastries. Lunch à la carte. Also small snacks available and very nice presented. In the evening we in local restaurants, the considerably cheaper are. Very clean, but on the thieving raben be careful!

    Immediately on the very wide sandy beach. Beach chairs are among the many palms on the lawn, as the sandy beach is public. About half an hour away from the airport. Is located in a street where lots of restaurants, bars and shops are. Very annoying are the massive beach vendors. The whole day loiter in the sand and speak the guests at... So rather not in the first row are! A 2. the many raben, the can a really on the alarm clock go. As the cry the whole day rum and dirty also a lot! Do nothing to eat with to the beach take!

It was a really magnificent vacation and Sri Lanka is a great country. The hotel has we very relaxed received, no rush at the front desk and all of the staff have always a smile in the face. There was no animation, what we found as positive, rather, we immediately relaxation and deceleration from the day-to-day work. We booked full board, however outside the hotel you can good for 3-5€ food, it is very tasty, even if a bit spicy. In the hotel there was 2 time the week buffet, otherwise lunch & dinner a 4-course menu. Optional fish, meat ..., vegetarian and Sri Lanka food. Lovely arranged and with much attention to detail, optically a delight. At the beach donations palms (instead of sunbeds) pleasant shade. The dealers at the beach are present, but as in every other country, you could well come to terms with them, and whoever wanted a beautiful cloth or dress for little money to buy would like, is for Maria or chandra welcome. Live and let live ☺ we booked our excursions with our guide suresh made. He speaks very good german (english, of course). The fish market in negombo must see, nothing for sensitive stomach, but the lobster and riesenlangusten, which we the barbecue grilled have, a real treat. Temples of various kinds were naturally also on our Sightseeing Tour, as well as the cities Colombo and kandi. Who massages loves is in Jasmin villa welcome. 75 minutes full body massage for 14€, Ayurveda cures will of course also offered. Suresh a really very good job has and we can him absolutely recommend. We really liked the hotel. We would however only from category super deluxe room recommend, since the simple room on the road beach chairs and it is very noisy. The super deluxe room beautifully largely and comfortably with a great view of the sea. It was plentiful and thoroughly cleaned. The staff was helpful and very friendly. At the beach were always enough free chairs at any time of the day to have. The only drawback were the annoying beach vendors, however therefor the hotel can't. We like Asien typically only booked with breakfast included and are in the evenings ... always outside food. There are great small restaurants, as the: kamlo, coconut restaurant and many other. Massages we have also not in the hotel and are used to the Jasmin-villas dangers. One can in the kamlo book and is much cheaper. The vacation was all around nice and relaxing, but unfortunately as always too short. read hotel review

A hotel with a great pool and überbreitem beach. Location is really ok, nf sufficed, enough and good restaurant near! Room with roadside entrance is very noisy! Upgrade on the mitteltrakt! Beach vendors in number and perseverance a factor but, still more, the vast number of crow! A crying always! read hotel review

Jetwing blue is a jetwing kiete, this is good hotel, we were already in jetwing sea, but nechte time we book jetwing beach, is much cheaper and I persönlisch find better hotel, it is classically decorated, very nice! In front desk, very friendly, always very friendly begruß, and immediately questions, we can help you... Altogether, we were very satisfied in jetwing blue. read hotel review

The hotel was altogether good, Unfortunately the check-in, no information, when gebst breakfast... , where is spa, no information over fitness, An important issue for the staff was, the we have room for 2 staff and who is the 3 staff? - my answer was: our private raiseführer... It is still not here! Unfortunately! In front desk is so much staff ( around 5 to 7 per day), unfortunately no that friendly them and always in computer watch - internet:-) Otherwise everything was good, very friendly... read hotel review

We were already in the morning at 6:00 o'clock welcomed friendly and could directly in our room. With a direct view of pool and sea we felt immediately 'arrived'. All our wishes were taken note and dealt with immediately. Although our English is not upsetting are, one always make an effort uS to understand and us to help. Because it nearby very many good restaurants and there very good and cheap seafood food, we only breakfast in the hotel used. At the beach you could very well under the palm trees, and something in the pool cool off. Unfortunately ... is the sea very wavy and there is a large undercurrent, so that one is not able to swim - unfortunately! The only downside we would bathroom, that very nicely furnished and was quite large, but in the corners and the floor, you urgently once again renovate.     From our 20 days stay we stayed 16 nights in a deluxe room and 4 nights in a suite. The room was huge and four of us had ( 2 adults and 2 children) enough space. The room was great furnished and the beds had very comfortable mattresses ( I very much value). The air conditioning worked immaculate. Coffee machine, safe, flat screen tv and mini bar available. Otherwise had the room on a beautiful large bathroom. The suite was just in dream, from the very good equipped balcony with jacuzzi, we had a dreamlike view of the indian ocean. The suite had a very good layout and had a of high quality facilities. From the window we had also the indescribably nice view on the beach and on the sea.

    In the hotel there is a open restaurant where you the breakfast as well as the dinner occupieth. Otherwise there is still a closed bar with air-conditioning and a pool bar. The quality of the meals is good, unfortunately it repeated menu from the evening very often. The dinner there are as a buffet ( usually if the hotel is busy) or menu. If this as menu is served, you have to especially the decoration stress. At the buffet are the dishes not very warm. Wether buffet or menu you always had the choice between international and local cuisine. The breakfast buffet is magnificent. The atmosphere there the restaurant open and you Som it directly on strfand sits, the sea sound hear and always a cool breeze wind.

    The staff are very friendly and accommodating the room -, pool boy on waiter until the hotel manager. All speak very good English. The guests always with a ' ayoubowan ' and a friendly smile welcomes. The hotel manager and also the lady from guest relations go to the guests and ask, if everything is okay. The waiters pleased over tip.

    Sport undf entertainment we didn't use. The hotel has 2 pools A very large and a smaller. The temperature in both pools is very pleasant warm. At bieden pools showers. There are plenty of loungers, there is also sun screens, this needs one not, since most loungers under the palms are. The palms also offer the ideal protection from the sun. By the pool you get free beach towels from the hotel.

    The hotel is directly at the clean broad beach of negombo. Nearby are a lot of shops and restaurants. To the center of negombo one drives about 10 minutes with the small train. Price always negotiate before. Very worth seeing in negombo are the fish market and the lagoon.

Great hotel in direct beach area with really good kitchen. Only disadvantage is which one in the standard room ( the a great facilities and all to the sea are aligned) cannot sleep. Reason it is directly behind the hotel a lively street ( lots of shops/ bars) and the rooms precisely on this side almost no soundproofing offer. That means early from 6 and to at least 22 o'clock one is the noise the street ( particularly horns from the small trains' s) to. We have ourselves after the first night resolutely upgraded to a higher room type to ... take. There we had more capacity in the room, a bath tub so large that determines 4 adults fit into have and above all peace of the noise from the street. Especially great we found the direct beach area and the beach is really great. Also thing you should the it (as in Sri Lanka usual) very many crow is the for the food disturb and very rude at the tables of the guests operate. It didn't bother us, but should be mentioned. We would the hotel book immediately again, however only with better room type. read hotel review

I have the hotel and belonging beach and area of the restaurant ( center point) only for swimming, relaxation, eating and drinking used. The use of the couches and the pools is subject to a charge but it was affordable. After reconstruction the blue in the new gloss, has but no more the flair vergangender years (Gesmackssache). Who but the cost is not scarred very in good hands. Recommendable nonetheless is the centre point. There are food and drinks until 20 o'clock offered. The staff are friendly and always ready for a small Chat. The dishes and snacks are freshly ... prepared and for the excellent location of the center point on beach moderate. The rooms are big, bright and friendly furnished and were from me only inspected. read hotel review

The hotel is German four-star standard, is absolutely clean and the location great. There are only 10 kilometer to the airport, the reason why the last nights spent there. The room was massive, nice balcony to the pool/ sea, with huge large flat screen, large bathroom with walk-in shower and bath tub. The safe was the most modern, which we ever (also in Germany) had. Pleasant staff, especially the gästebetreuerin. The very long salt water swimming pool was great to swim, there were enough chairs available. That it more and more guests returns, the my, they would be on Mallorca. ... A shame. However therefor the hotel can't. The breakfast it must be mentioned: excellent! In the area: long beach for walking go (as usual not so completely clean), a lot of shops as everywhere and also restaurants, where you great food can. Dinner in the hotel unfortunately only at 19:30 o'clock. I can only recommend, with breakfast to book evenings eating out. Is worthwhile absolutely. We will book again. read hotel review

It is a pure beach hotel. Very open and airy. We have a week here and excursions done. Are obvious longer stay here rather rarely. Lots of guests are only one to two days here on. Also there is pure locals, for example from the Aida. Our room imdritten floor was great large. The furnishing is modern and sober and we liked. Only drawback is the too small closet, so that we things in the suitcase had to leave. Internet in every room per wifi free of charge usable. The beach vendors are annoying, but actually only, if you in ... the first row to the beach is. It is not a problem friendly los to be. Besides, many again and again the desire with you a deal. read hotel review

Depending on the season the guests clientele, overall was a good mixture of different nationalities to see.     Since we before and after a trip to the badenaufenthalt in the hotel descended we could two different rooms to, both rooms were in very good condition. The rooms are also for a longer stay in the room generously designed. The bathroom offers by its glass walls an optical treat, who intimate liked the attached blinds as view protection benefits. The cleaning service was good, it was daily refilled everything/replaced. Next to a flatscreen tv there was also a kettle together with different tea and specialty coffees in the room.

    The presentation of the food found alternate à la carte or in buffet-form. In the à la carte was for the different taste always something, the buffet was plentiful and served all genres. Until about 30 minutes before the end of the dinner the dishes freshly refilled. Special insight offered the open kitchen, which you always accept and so the preparation could watch. For a 5-star restaurant was the quality accordingly, the prices a drink very moderate. The staff is well trained, helpful and service-oriented. (before each dinner found service meetings instead). In comparison to many other houses was here no trinkgelderwartungshaltung!

    Very friendly and dedicated staff, wishes and ' suggestions' were immediately cared for. The language skills were partly very limited, however, by of the staff much with gestures worked or a colleague/a colleague with appropriate language skills consulted. The cleaning of the rooms was european expectations, reparatüren etc. Were immediately and efficiently run. In comparison to all other hotels and other meetings on the round trip, you could in this hotel no ' tip searches' say, the staff is even surprised and happy about things. The service definitely furnished!

    Along of the hotel there were several nestled the natural sun protection offered. The service was chairs and covers, and towels are provided. The long and deep sandy beach had enough options for a walk. The flying dealers had to outside of palm trees (in the sun stop), so that you as a guest not unnecessarily harassed. A langezogener pool with little thoughtfulness offered a compensation to the beach, if you do not in the high waves wanted or could. Between this and the neighboring hotel there was another small (very quiet) pool. A usual fun through an appropriate animation team was not given, however evening entertainment for example, by live music.

    From the airport you need a good half hour to the hotel (due to traffic). Unfortunately the hotel is a little out of the way, if you on foot in the supermarket or to the center would like, vice versa was no commotion. The hotel is next to two other jetwing hotels (which also can be used) on the long and wide sandy beach of negombo. Excursion possibilities are both in the hotel (known organizer ), as well as by local companies or freelancers given.

Five star it was not, but altogether it is a very nice hotel in a good location. The Beachgirls at the beach are unfortunately very pushy. Atmosphere during dinner is very nice, much better you eat however opposite the hotel in Oysters. It is not so nice, however therefor considerably cheaper. read hotel review
