I stayed in the 'older' motel style accomodation rather than the tower. Basic but clean. Room was warm. the old style shower was great- no water saving, low pressure unit. Room service dinner was a great curry and the breakfast was up to a good standard.

If you are coming from the airport, it is almost at the end of Hobart in the sandy Bay road. It is not to be overlooked. A-story tower is the trademark and already by far to see. The location is very nice, as it is located directly on the harbor and the sandy Bay center, with lots of shops and restaurants, it's only about a 15 minutes walk. The hotel has different room categories. We had a standard-mountainside room but the name isn't quite. A view of the mountains was not available. It was in a old building with three ... floors without elevator. It was newly renovated and very clean. The hallways were carpeted and it smelled a bit musty. The large room was on the ground floor, overlooking a little lawn and blooming bushes. A wall covering the vision. It was equipped with shower, toilet, hair dryer, double bed and single bed, fridge, minibar, tv, air conditioning, kettle and toaster. Across the street from the window there was a table with two chairs. A safe was in the room and was free of charge. There was a private parking lot. The hotel also has a casino, two restaurants and a coffee shop, the so-do until 6.30 22,30, FR-SA from 6.30 until 23,30 is open. The continental breakfast for $21 a and the full breakfast for $26 a 6.30 until there are 10,30. Lunch Buffet from 12:00 until 14:00 23.50A $and evening buffet 32.50A 17,30 to 21:00 from $. Also several bars belong to the hotel, which has a terrace with a view over the harbor. The revolving revolving restaurant on the top floor of the tower with international dishes A 360° panoramic view. There is also a swimming pool, fitness center and Spa which we didn't use. I thought it was a very varied and good hotel in which you spend a few days. TIP If you don't want to eat at the hotel, it is in the center of sandy Bay several restaurants, with Italian, Chinese, Indian and Greek cuisine. The well-known fast food chains are represented. In the coffee bar Metz, the located on a main street is, you sat out on the nice terrace. The pizza (from $16.50A) tasted excellent. The food in the restaurant is not so cheap. If you are satisfied with a supermarket, has the choice between two large, one of them was open until 12:00 P. M. With the bus, on the other side of the hotel parking stops, you can go for a $2.40 in the center of sandy Bay, Hobart. Right from the hotel entrance also stops the red doppelldeckerbus with the you can see the sights of Hobart. Is not to be missed on a visit to Victoria dock with lots of restaurants. This land of fresh fish and seafood from the sea directly in the pan. The shuttle to the airport costs $15.00A one page per person, return $25,00A.
