Good hotel with some blemishes.
We have the heat, and cold winches mostly 5-6 wind forces - first once 4 days sickened! There were the mosquitos (gnats), the constantly pursued, whether in the lobby or in the room and against insect repellant offensichtlich'immun' were.
For swimming only the ' unverfrorenen', to which we do not include.
The service in the restaurant was very effectively, hardly put down the question of the drinks. Used plates were immediately cleared away, with the objective, that the guest not sit long and the dining seat as fast and for new guests is available. The ... restaurant manager was in effect, and altogether a bit too loud, as well as the atmosphere in general.
The quality of the dishes was mostly good, but one had to watch out, which you choose.

The location of the hotel and the willingness to help at the front desk are great.
The food whereas almost without exception cold. If you want something warm to want to take, best directly at the entrance the dining room at the separate international cuisine something to get the food.
The cleanliness of the restaurant left to be desired. Times used tablecloths, as well as water stains on the glass and on the cutlery and a trail have the whole week solid.
The size the high pictures of the room are huge. Are much smaller than in the first moment ... it seems.

The hotel has directly at the beach, in front of the hotel is the bushaltestation, the taxi rank, different car rental, supermarkets, there were enough parking spaces for rental cars available, so couldn't be better! We were allowed our superior room already at 12 o'clock and on demand on the day of departure until 14 o'clock keep. Perfect! The room with a balcony and the bathroom were nothing special large, but sufficient. It was with laminate flooring and flat screen tv, the rest of the furniture was rather older date but more or less fine. Unfortunately the bed somewhat kuschelfeindlich ..., since it from separate mattresses existed, which separated.
Disturbing we felt, the balcony lighting was in the entire hotel centrally controlled and late at night off. During our travels was the hotel to about 90% of british seniors, the very polite and quiet. The animation and entertainment programme is on this target group coordinated.
The quality of the food and the selection, both for breakfast, as well as during dinner was very good! Yes, the offered dishes were partly repeated, but for us this was no downside, however rather a delight. The coffee out of the machines has the advantage, that one from different sorts of and was really good. The free table we thought was pleasant. The service during dinner was very courteous and also at the front desk were all requests immediately and competent treated.
For a quiet vacation and the island is accommodated ideally.
We would this hotel book immediately again!

The hotel is situated right at the sea and, because of its well-kept facilities for disabled guests a pleasant stay. The grounds of the hotel include a large swimming pool and enough chairs on different levels. The beach section in front of the hotel there is rocky the beach 'los pocillos' where you in the sea baden can is about 100 meters away.
The standard rooms are big enough and a double bed with a flat screen tv, desk and chair, small table and two chairs, as well as a built-in closet with safe (11,00 Euro/week) equipped. Bad: narrow standards by the pool and in the restaurant with strong occupancy.
' komfortzimmer' are as small as double room-only on the 4. floor.
Good: clean pool (seawater ), clean room, attentive table service. read more

The hotel San Antonio is a very big hotel from the 70. years. The complex is well cleaned, yet more or less strong usage to be recognized clearly. We had a superior room (renovated ) with a direct view of the sea booked. Unfortunately had the room 1314 on the 1. floor no sea view, the palmengarten covering the view, nor was it renovated. Despite several complaints at the guest relations, the FTI-travel agency and at the front desk we got not the booked room. At this time the hotel was fully booked. read more

Absolutely 4 stars with dignity! We have been coming already often into the San Antonio, we were always satisfied. Naggers there are everywhere, if you 5-star standard expected, you have to 5 star!
Remarkably, the good guest structure, mostly older and quiet audience. Negatively noticeable are us only a group of 8 until 10 german guests, they believed the quiet and pleasant mood for breakfast disturb to have.

We visited the vik San Antonio in October 2012.
Next to us were especially many british and irish guests older generation there, the nature was pleasantly cool and quiet felt. At the front desk there were very friendly German speaking staff. Our double room lay on the ground floor with a terrace. It had a carpet and the furnishing reminded us of the 70./ early 80., but everything was clean. Ideal was the to the room to the shallow pool and the salt water pool in the upper level.
We booked half board - there was plenty of choice ... for breakfast and dinner- nice were the daily changing theme evenings, breakfast is a bit british. In the evening it was our bad knowledge of spanish on some days a little difficult with being understood, but all employees were accommodating and very polite. Especially polite and welcoming with our 6-year-old son handled.
From the hotel you have direct access to the beach - a few meters left there are a very nice bathing beach. That is probably the biggest advantage of San Antonio - in the morning you could directly into the sea jump.
Evenings there is a fantastic view of the beach in front of the hotel from the terrace the bar. The garden the hotel is nice.
We recommend for all tourist in Puerto del Carmen one evening in the small fishing port and food, a fantastic fish and fantatstischer view of the atlantic ocean are guaranteed.
We should again to Lanzarote then definitely again San Antonio - only the proximity to the beach is worthwhile! read more

Good, rather quiet and clean hotel in a very good location and with friendly staff. The guests are mostly 60 + and mainly from England - but the bothered us not! Directly in front of the hotel is the bus station and also the long promenade of Playa de Papagayo with many shops, restaurants and pubs is next door. read more

Select one a larger room, about a junior suite, remain only a few wishes open. Who is not here in good hands feels, should better a 5 *-hotel book. Amazing are quality and quantity at the dinner buffet and also the breakfast was rich. The hotel is very nicely located ( booking with a view of the sea worth it). The avenidas de las playas is a subkulturelle shame, also therefore this hotel is recommendable, as it secluded from ramschmeile 'waterfront' is. read more

Once the hotel you can book. A second time I wouldn't book it, there I better four star hotels in Spain visited. Good is the direct location at the beach, but careful directly the beach for hotel has rock. So if you wanted to swim, you just have to go. The room was unfortunately very small ( we had direct view of the sea). The Sanitary facilities for disabled guests stayed in the pool area bad (repair complete renovation). The fitness room was smelly. Food was fine, I would here the school grade 2-rating, since a little bit variety with ... salad. Entertainment in the hotel for guests from 60 + plus. read more

Very beautiful hotel, good clean and tidy! We had a renovated room, we would recommend to everyone ( laminate flooring instead of carpet, bathroom renovated, etc.). The morning buffet was varied (fruit, sweet -> jams, honey, rolls, waffles, muesli, Salty-> eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, sausage, cheese, etc.), should so there was something for everyone his. Dinner buffet was not to my taste, since it was simply too much England-was annoying. Was good evenings, that every evening, in addition to the normal buffet, food after Länderthema was (so for example Chinese, Spanish, with Paella, Japanese with sushi, Italian with ... pizza or common mussels, etc.). So all together are actually something for everyone, that he likes.
Nice is also the direct access to the beach from the hotel. The loungers belong the village of, therefore had to be paid, if the chairs and sunscreens used to be. As we have seen, the hotel has a varied entertainment program ( we didn't use it), the black board in the lobby puts out. The two pools are also easily accessible and there were always enough sunbeds free, when we were there. Recommendable is the upper pool, because with a depth of 1.30 meters is also good, in order to swim. The lower pool is lower. Otherwise there is also a children's pool available. The garden area is very beautifully designed and offers also the possibility sunbathe (individual corner with two loungers and an umbrella).
Recommendable is a rental car ( we had booked in advance booked). It is super easy, the island to explore, since the paths on the small island of very short. With bus one is more dependent. Otherwise is the bus not everywhere back.
In short: nice hotel, good location, also evenings something going on. However the noise from the planes respected, as it is relatively close at the airport is. Starting airplanes hears one already (sounds like thunderstorms, whilst sleeping we didn't have). read more
