Right on the rambla located and the subway station almost before of the hotel door-better a hotel in Barcelona hardly beach chairs. The historic building had much charm, the rooms are big enough, the bathrooms also. The breakfast in a glass-roofed inner courtyard -good idea!
The staff are really friendly and willing to help, the state of the hotel well, even a flatscreen tv and a fridge are in the room available. Our room right on the rambla out, with closed windows could sleep perfectly.
In short: if the rambla lodgings wants, is with the husa oriente well served. The ... rambla is in my opinion although overrated-a pure touristengeschiebe past overpriced outdoor cafes and souvenir shops-but that is important whom: please. read more

In Barcelona plays the hotel less a role, since the life on the street instead of ☺ shopping, food & at the beach pool chairs here is announced ☺

This hotel lies in the center of the city and a good starting point for things to do, it has better days, but the rooms are clean and large, the staff is friendly and helpful, for a city break optimal. Only drawback it is very noisy, but with earplugs I could then but sleep. Despite clairaudience I would this hotel redial if I Barcelona visits. read more

utter disappointment! We got a room with a view to the Rambla reserved booked and paid for, and finally bekamemn a room 'drawer' bottom. In the courtyard with machine the whole night ran. It was so small, that hardly space for our luggage had. I think that was the oldest room (444) of the hotel. All the pictures the room is not to be published comparable with our 'shabby' room. Were very disappointed! On the day of departure, they wanted at the front desk still we the breakfast again pay. I paid online: room including continental breakfast! read more

Very nice, clean and friendly hotel for a city break to Barcelona. Helpful, but not intrusive, staff. Complaints I cannot judge, because I had none. Directly at the Ramblas, however also rooms in the inner courtyard bookable, if it silent should be at night. Otherwise a view of the lively hustle and bustle in the heart of Barcelona. My daughter and I were very satisfied. Options for shopping, subway station, bars and restaurant, as well as the, for Barcelona-Connoisseur, gladly visited theater Liceu are in the immediate area.
The Marina, with the friends shopping center 'Mare Magnum' is 10 to ... 15 minutes walk, or 1 subway station away, as well as - in other direction also about 10 minutes on foot or 1 subway station the hub 'placa de Catalunia' with the metro, Rapid-Transit Railway and Autobusverbindungen to all sights within and outside Barcelona.
People, the the immediate area gladly on foot explore, find the Cathetral, the Columbusstatue, the 'parc de ciutatella' ( city park), the Marina, the ' zoo de Barcelona', which is situated between city park and beach is, but also the 'Arc de Triomphe' in ' Spaziergehnähe '. Let the narrow alleys in the old town and discover this wonderful city. read more

The hotel is generally in good condition. If (as here) the lobby level is not any more in the, but the hotel was recently renovated, we preferred if this (how often) other way round instructions. The other guests were typical cities travellers, sometimes with children, sometimes in small groups - no business traveller. From the nationalities mixed, not just as in German, English or Russian. If you want a good mid range hotel for a newly renovated in Barcelona, is so our opinion with the Husa Oriente well served. read more

The size of room was adequate for a city break, as you only use the room for sleeping.
Downside was in the bathroom, the Windows do not open. So it was a bit stuffy in the bathroom.
On the whole, the hotel is the great location on the Rambla for those on a city break highly recommended! read more

The price-performance ratio was good here. If one didn't have too high demands the Oriente for a Barcelona city break highly recommended. Central location (but very noisy at night as it was directly on the Ramblas), metro station just nearby and gastronomy in abundance for sheets in the room were available, so we stayed in the first night frozen. Ended up eating it out on our request Wollecken will receive, but the smelled a bit. Apart from that, it was ok Tip: to and from the airport take a taxi. The is quick and easy and about 25 Euro each ... way (including tips) very reasonably priced read more

For those who want to explore Barcelona is the hotel Oriente. Middle of the Ramblas the pulse of the city right in front of the door! Just returned for a night to get little relaxation you should have a rooms that face the patio. Because even at night is still plenty los outside! Rooms are clean and tidy and have a certain charm. We are traveling with multiple people and apparently each room is a bit different. Nice size bathroom! So much fun in Barcelona read more

Hotel in the historical building right next to the Ramblas, with easy access to the metro. The airport bus A1 about a 15 minute walk (the last stop "Place de Catalunya"). More relaxing leisure room to a patio. Room - depending on the location - partly very thin walls. On the ground floor there is a good Basque Restaurant - but can be quite noisy. Getting a room in the 1 top floor. Breakfast was good. Light and spacious. The time is still a bit decor of the rooms and hallways, is their just ended renovation. All staff nice and ... very helpful. read more
