The dearborn inn consists of a main building, as well as several outbuildings, some of which also hotel room accommodate, other again as a kind of museumsdorf in a park behind the hotel are built. Everything has a reference to the automotive industry and Ford in the special, the 'village' which more houses dating back to the early days of the Ford motor company includes is also right around the corner. For tourists there are because of the regions and proximity to industrial area certainly better hotels, for business trips with reference to Ford but probably nothing better. read more

The rooms are big enough and very tastefully equipped. It is everything you need is available, merely the immensely expensive wi-fi access does blur the picture.

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

I have merely the breakfast use it, and that was without any restriction very good. There is a wide variety of all, which one wishes oneself included the amerikatypischen waffles and the staff is extremely friendly. A lot is freshly prepared. In the breakfast room is evenings food a la carte, which was very good. I had it however not tried, as I the furnishing for casual dinner in jeans and T-shirt at Nobel appeared. In the same wing is also the sports bar in the typical american style in the details to suitable prices in a casual atmosphere can be taken.

  • Service

The staff are how often in the USA used friendly, the rooms were cleaned and on the whole there was no reason to the complaint.

  • Sport & Entertainment
    6.0

There is a outdoor swimming pool, but I didn't use it. Otherwise there is a good equipped fitness room the 24 hours is opened, this is also clean and all device intact. Otherwise nothing was offered, but as mentioned: with a view of the orientation as a business -hotel this is perfectly acceptable.

Airport, restaurants and shops are relatively close and by car easy to get to. Entertainment possibilities and ways to spend your free time the hotel offers not, but that is because of the focus on people on business trip also not surprising.

The hotel is 100 % owned by Firma Ford and has a good old Henry Ford first airport hotel built the world. It is served from Marriott run to recent renovation and is very nice with the surrounding park a green oasis surrounded by the Ford offices as well as a test track and is ideal for those visitors of the automotive company. One feels like in an English manor house than a typical American hotel. For tourists (and mingle with the businesspeople) some important excursion destinations (Henry Ford Estate, Greenwich Village, Henry Ford Museum, Automotive Hall of Fame etc. ... ) can be found in the immediate vicinity. The hotel consists of a main building, as well as some single houses in the garden, the former house of well-known as Americans modeled or similar to a Museumsdorf hertransport and has been built up. Room clean and quiet, but a bit small, but you should prefer the rooms at the back after a busy road that runs along the front of the hotel. The bar is cozy and the breakfast buffet was OK for $15 The hotel also a lot for banquets and weddings, the restaurant is also quite good, but I didn't use it. worth mentioning the outside but I also didn't use it. In immediate area, no shopping possibilities, Dearborn downtown with numerous restaurants was just around the corner and good shopping malls in about 20 miles away (Twelve Oaks, Somerset Collection). As always in America nothing without cars. Of course you should here are in a Ford ancestors. read more
