When we arrived at the hotel (1,45 h transfer to the hotel), the check in quite quickly. In the hotel room (double) hanging on the ceiling three snails, which were just removed from the staff. General was the bathroom was rather small and the shower only about 60 cm x60cm small. To reach the hotel you have to first a slope from 40 % to 40-50 meters had to endure. Leisure activities are available in Kalo Chorio ( village) rather less, a few supermarkets and taverns and that's the end of that. To the Silver Beach ( I personally ... prefer it's ten minutes' walk away, the Golden Sands five minute walk. The next bigger town ( Agios Nikolaos) is 20 minutes by bus. You can get it very nice for strolling and food. Excursions from the travel agents were very expensive, but as we enjoyed the blanket on the head would boredom we decided to Water city and it was well worth it. But almost two hours by bus on the road. Towels were only changed every 4th day ( most of them with signs of wear, beds were made every day and that's the end of that. Mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned. The food was rather and needed to get used to it, particularly the breakfast which was usually the same thing. So once again in this hotel is definitely not the case. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!! read more

To get to the hotel, you have to walk in a puff up a steep hill. Then the stairs abgespühlt every day, so that with arriving at the reception or wet feet afraid one could slip. It also smelled heavily. Our towels were changed only once. The Amfang had we had little towels and bath towels. However, once the towels were changed, we had no small towels more. The only thing that the cleaning ladies frequent maid service, is the bed and our ate cookies. In the hotel could not so much to do. There was no evening entertainment. There ... was not even the ping pong table, although this in the hotel description. The food was not to enjoy and it was not very varied. Also you had to stand in line at the buffet for dinner. The only thing we liked about the holiday was the beach! read more

The complex is located on a hill and is therefore not suitable for handicapped people. The outdoor area was very nicely planted and there was always a shady area. The rooms and apartments are very warm. Air conditioning ( 5.00 EUR per day) The beach is in about ten minutes away by foot. The staff is very friendly. Right on the hotel driveway are the bus stops to Heraklion-Irapetra-Sitia. To visit the numerous archaeological sites is a hire car recommended. read more

The size of the hotel is appropriate and it should not be more. The condition of the location is partially without flaw, but upgradeable (for example the left over of the construction works), which dont disturb at all. The Elpida is very nice and comfortably designed. What was also nice, the people are very fond of children and totally attentive, which was pretty relevant for my children. read more

The apartment was properly equipped. There was whether a telephone and a TV in the room, what was not that important for us. To my mind the pool was very well-kept. The food was less diversified. The drinks as well were not that great, they always come from the automats and were diluted syrup, which I found very disappointing. The location is only for overnight stay. To book All Inclusive is not worthwhile! read more
