All together, a very recommendable hotel in a good location. Until to metro it is a on foot of about 15 minutes, from there one has then but a very good access. The way to the beach ( Poblenou) uS very positively surprised. Here you will find a lot of restaurants and bars.
The hotel itself is very well maintained, modern and the staff extremely friendly. read more

Very clean and good business hotel.
Location: 15 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to the metro station ( from there 4 stops until center), 5 minutes up to a shopping center ( eating options as restaurants Subway, and MC Donakd 's, shopping options c & A, Footloocker, H & M, mango, Zara, supermarkets and so on)
Room: very clean with laminate floors, bathroom with bath tub and BD, safe, TV, Magazines, shower gels, 1 bottle of water per person per day included, mini bar, Housekeeping.
Other: front desk mostly only occupied by one person, so a long queue. We ... could the room first from 15 o'clock refer, but you can take your luggage in the hotel store and get a pick up brand.
Value for money was great. We were as a couple two nights in the hotel. read more

Since we in the hotel not fed, this is unrated. We had a large, always clean room and the value for money was really reasonable. The beverages in the minibar are very expensive, about 2 €for a box, so we simply our things in there made. The transport connections are good, directly in front of the hotel drive tram and bus and the subway is not far away. read more

Very good and value for money extremely recommended hotel. Perpendicular distance to the beach 15 minutes path on strip, on foot the Ramblas diagonal by Straßendschungel 25 minutes public access to the means of transport also very good (TRAM directly in front of the hotel, underground station 10 minutes away by foot ). Breakfast for southern proportions more than enough and tasty. Only fly in the ointment: we had a room to the street on the first floor - with an open window but relatively noisy-> booking higher floor or of the street averted. read more

We had a room in the 6 floor and had a great view, especially with the great Glass front. Would in any case again the hotel visit! And Barcelona is in any case still worth a visit! read more

Hotel is located about 15 minutes walk from the subway station. The beach is also about 15 minutes shopping center nearby, supermarket across the street. The hotel and rooms are modern and very nicely furnished. Very clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly. Bottom line: great city hotel highly recommendable. read more

The hotel is actually located not in the city centre is however well connected to the public transport (u-bahn 700 meters, tram 200 metres, bus right). Next door is a big shopping center and the neighborhood there are a lot of restaurants. read more

The hotel consists of 11 floors and the outside, just like from inside very modern. It is well maintained and captivates with contemporary design. Check in was a breeze and within 2 minutes. We could use our room key to get off the lift, the us in the 11th floor tray. When we arrived there we walked into the room and it was just fantastic. Such a view of Barcelona we couldn't expected! A wall was almost completely glazed and had a really good view of the northern part of the city including Sagrada Familia and Tibidabo. The room itself ... was very modernly furnished (safe, flat screen, nice bathroom with bath) Overall, for a 3 star hotel outstanding read more

The hotel is highly recommended for a city break! We were more than satisfied and you get so much more for your money. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms are clean and tidy, safe was available and fresh towels every day. We had a room even view of the Sagrada Familia! Despite our room was 33 degrees thanks to air conditioning always good temperature and the way to the beach wasn't far. The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the hotel take tram and bus! We would recommend this hotel anytime again for a stay in Barcelona book!!!!!!! read more

The hotel is definitely the pictures and reviews on the net promise. For a short stay as our (5 nights) it is highly recommended! The rooms but also the lobby and the breakfast room were super clean, new and very modern decor. There was a very good buffet breakfast, fresh towels every day, climate control, and an in-room safe. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little out of the center in a newly built neighborhood. However, all the sights and the City by bus/tram (the stop right outside of the hotel) or the metro ... can be easily reached. It also has the beach (walking distance (about 20 minutes by bus/tram about 5 minutes) in the vicinity of the hotel. For a mix of city break Standurlaub and a perfect location. Conclusion: super clean, very friendly, new, with good location. read more

Modern hotel in a newer area of Barcelona. From the outside looks like from inside very well kept. The rooms are very clean and nice. We booked it in advance without breakfast, we were allocated on arrival a deal for a cheaper breakfast, which we then also from and to use. In the hotel there was both business travellers and tourists alike, was overall it was fairly quiet. read more

The modern style hotel is perfect as a base for extensive city tours. The rooms are large, clean and well presented. The hotel is located in the business district on the edge of downtown, what tourists rather uninteresting. There is a large and small supermarket nearby and you can also have evening safe for bus/tram. toward the beach however, there is a Rambla with small restaurants and bars. Tram and bus right outside the door; the metro was a little farther away. read more

My son (13 ) and I had tickets to the Nou Camp over Easter. So we stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. The hotel has 11 floors and the room was great. Everything was very clean. Condition for us a 1-2 Breakfast cost 9,50 euro per person, but we never used it. Always in a café breakfast nearby. In the room we had free wifi. So my son and his ipod could touch in the internet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevator to the floor you could only with the chip card call on the ... ground floor. Therefore only allowing guests in the individual floors. read more

Our stay at the Amrey Diagonal we enjoyed it very much! The rooms were cleaned well each day. We are not fault the (modern) decor of rooms noticed. The safe was large enough for all valuables (U. A netbook) to store. The fridge/mini-bar) we had for the accommodation of fruit, yoghurt, etc. Supermarkets are available in the immediate vicinity (e.g. B. Keisy, Mercadona). We got the free wireless Internet access, which was very convenient (log-in is very simple, front desk/speed was mediocre). For TV junkies: You can MTV and EuroSport welcome + french Arte, BBC, etc. Our room was ... on the 5th Floor and we enjoyed the street (Avinguda Diagonal) not disturbing. From the window to the left out you could see the Sagrada Familia. The bathroom was great. There was a bathtub, which is just what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. Hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, comb, nail file, etc. Are available. The breakfast was ok but 15 euros are a few euros too much for the fact that it almost no variety. Transportation is good, as it is just a few meters away there is a tram stop and a few meters further the subway station Glories is. read more

We booked this hotel for one night on a Junggesellinenabschiedes. The E-mail contact in advance (I had some questions about the room) was very nice and competent. Upon check-in, there was some inconsistencies surrounding then unfortunately regarding the room without problems resolved. Therefore, we had a very nice stay at a great city and took the hotel Amrey Diagonal felt very comfortable. read more

Hotel ideally situated for a Barca-visit - with decent comfort and close to the Agbar Tower. Over the Ramblas Pobleno which began directly at the hotel entrance, it is 800 meters to the beach. And these Allee (pedestrian zone) is full of good and the price values restaurants. By tram (200 meters walking distance away from the hotel) is ten minutes to another beach section. The public bus - 100 meters from the hotel - drove nearly up to the Placa Catalunya (200 meters walk), the metro station "Glories" is within a 10 -minute walk from the hotel. The rooms ... in the hotel are clean, on a booking "breakfast included" one should in any case. Opposite the hotel is a Lidl market - very convenient: -), snacks in the mini-bar so well protected. read more

The hotel is an ideal base for a short break in Barcelona. Our room was spacious and very very clean. Although it was on the street side, we noticed no noise. Directly opposite the hotel is a supermarket. It is also a bus stop in front of the hotel with good connections to the center. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant was always friendly and helpful. We visited a lot in Barcelona there is really great eating places and beautiful corners (e.g. B. Park Guell). Not recommended is a visit to the aquarium at the harbor. ... For the price of admission (approx. 17 Euro) we expected more!!! For children may be interesting. For an overview of the city and the location of the attractions, we recommend a hop on-hop off - bus tour. There are about 16 euro and is really a great success. read more

This is supposed to be a little update to my review from June 2007. Even after two years we were once again very satisfied. Booked on the internet. Unfortunately also the general increase in prices in Barcelona Zimmerpreisschnäppchen noticable, but are also possible. (e.g. B. Check in Sunday) to the hotel: cleanliness of the hotel and the room as usual. No signs of wear. Staff was like then friendly but unobtrusive. Check in/check-out without any problems. Just a tip for Kurzreisende and/or business traveller. Breakfast 15 euros per person., underground parking 8 Eur, handicapped accessible. New is the free ... ADSL Internet connection, Net/Notebook focused, entrance code from the front desk for the duration of stay. Small but expensive mini bar in the room. Free in-room safe. Easy access to the sights tram, bus in front of the hotel or opposite, underground stop Glòries 10-15 minutes. 20-30 minutes to the beach. Walk across Rambla Poblenou, large shopping center "Glories" and Lidl opposite, Forum Transtation Fluvia 10 minutes. The optimization of individual stations and renovation metro system in the last year, easier access to the hotel: From airport Renfe line 2 (Aeroport-Sant Celoni/Macanet) until you reach the station El Clot Arago, change to the underground L1 toward Hospital de Bellvitge, one stop Glóries, walk 10-15 minutes. Or with tram T4 direction Estació de Sant Adriá, stop about l'Aranyo or Pere IV. Tips: Barcelonacard at the airport terminal A) get (Touriinfo (price whereby snorkeling, in our case My Wife = bracelet costs €40) Public transport bus, underground, tram free, also offers many perks which German-speaking. Manual, lots of coupons complimentary harbor cruise (Info: www. Barcelona. De) Barcelona aquarium (the port, Maremagnum) very interesting, a bit pricey (with BCN Card about 17Eur) but well worth it. Restaurant QQ, Paseo de Gracia, Plaza Catalunya, good and relatively inexpensive, tapes and Bocadillos, good house wine. read more

We used this hotel for a 5 day city trip with friends, booked before via the internet. The exterior of the hotel has become more or less in the ultra-modern environment, probably in the past years conjured up. We were given 2 room on the top floor this limited we did not get a lot of noise from traffic on the site and had a nice view on the northeastern Barcelona. We ate all meals out, the atmosphere of the breakfast/restaurant was not inviting. All in all, we were happy with the hotel, the rooms were of adequate size and ... decor, transportation is very good. read more
