the hotel dates back to the seventies, the simple double rooms are way too small for 2 people and to rather spartanic furnished. After we the room had complained, we got without extra charge a suite with a balcony on the seaside as well as balcony to page the city, so a kompl. Apartment with kitchen, living room, dining corner, everything with leather or leather couch, separate toilet, bathroom with shower and bath tub. A simple double room is not recommendable. For a short break up to a maximum of 1 week absolutely in order. For longer stays in Zandvoort it is surely better alternatives.

The hotel is no four stars. It is completely outdated and dirty. But then we have paid also clearly to much. Next year we prefer a small pension. never more best Western. read more

The facilities of the hotel is very dated. To expensive for to little 'luxury'. The breakfast was very sparse. The staff was very friendly. The location was not bad. The next time we would rather us for a small, friendly and clean Guesthouse in Zandvoort decide. read more

For the the not want to stay in Amsterdam (about a half hour away) and a day/evening and want to experience the sea to reach beautiful and well. Mini city in which one after about 1 hour has seen everything made, however, for the small town is nice. Small TAPAS bar cocktail bars and several restaurants. Nothing for young people for a whole however week. (> Scheveningen)
Large room for 99, -(in the march Saturday, breakfast brunch including) five comes to tax and, possibly, the parking lot with seven
Room very clean, large bathroom with shower and tub, were very ... satisfied. Time to the other large hotels in the area are more expensive and unfortunately not only for a weekend apartments can be supported.

A weekend were spontaneously in Holland, Amsterdam and then at night toward Zandvoort broken. The largest building at the beach of Zandvoort is the best Western palace hotel, thus also hardly to overlook. Have us on site in the hotel for overnight stay and the price was for 69 for the double room with bath best Western, that cheapest hotel. The lobby made a new and modern impression. The check-in at the reception was very quick and the reception lady was very nice, friendly and explained everything in peace. An elevator it was in the second floor. The hallway to ... the rooms was acceptable, in the years come very. Our room was quite large and made a clean impression. The room was actually everything what you need: TV, fridge, telephone, desk, clock radio, bathtub, shower, hair dryer. it was missing to us nothing. Clearly the room are not more the newest, but for the 69 the price/performance ratio was good and for a night it was fine! The view from the window was facing the street out, it was but very quiet at night! The room on the sea are much more expensive side out, prices of over 100 !
The breakfast room is located in this hotel, in the first floor. The restaurant made a clean impression and the breakfast buffet was adequate. It was everything, what you need for a good breakfast. The only what you can complain about here, is the selection of cold cuts and cheese, this was something lacking. The check-out you must do in this house until eleven o'clock, this was very drafty and us kindly expressed a directions back to Germany.
Conclusion: the hotel is in the years come and one should not expect any luxury. For a short weekend it is absolutely sufficient and for 69 you really can't say anything! The best beforehand on the Internet information and also book directly! It has a low price guaranteed! Oh yes to the 69 come about 5 tax ! read more

For a short stay in the town, where it is important, to be central and close to the beach, this hotel is definitely further to recommend. A large advantage is also the hotel's own parking place in front of the house. In Zandvoort was, white, what the value is! I enjoyed the three days in the hotel and would not hesitate to go again! read more

Very poor hotel with standards of the 1980s. The room was very spacious, but the leaky bad just-glazed windows for example or the Containerbauweise brought a the sleep. Location of the room or all rooms very bad in a brückenmäßigem extension of the hotel. The beautiful apartments in the upper floors of the tower are long-term of Dutch rented out!!! Breakfast in a very small uncomfortable room. The buffet was with mini rolls extremely dry scrambled eggs and generally very poor quality to be desired. No service. No cutlery or napkin on the table. The hotel I would definitely not recommend it!!!! The price/performance is almost laugh; you are quite veralbert once before, when you see where and how to spend the next days Room: I have booked for 3 nights booked a single room. A balcony there was! A window which was not being able to open. The glass was so dirty that you could not look out. We booked a non-smoking room; the whole room stank but after a pub. Much too expensive for the price. Breakfast for example. Plastic spoons, in the rooms Plastikzahnbecher ... Everything was very old, bathroom need updating. Oh my goodness where do I begin The hotel is already from the outside completely run-down. It crumbled, it smells, it is stained The rooms are minimal. I booked a 4 * hotel ... since I expected 4 or even 5 star hotels I think ... This hotel is more like a two star. Breakfast room. Brrr.. Windows very very dirty ... Buffet ... 1 sort of cheese, boiled ham, raw ham.. It was everything but still scrambled eggs.. all self service. The juices were from SIRUB mixed with water. Disgustingly sweet ... the room was not much larger than a box and in the bathroom PLEASEn't bend down ... So small read more

The Best Western Palace we were very disappointed. We have stayed in various Best Western Hotels and have for this reason chose this hotel. But there was no comparison. The Palace is in its full presentation not more up-to-date. Dated with the has seen better days and a strange arrangement of the room. Some rooms also feature in the house also apartments. In fact the hotel deserve one star only for the great location right by the sea. That's it. We chose this hotel again after years for a short break in Zandvoort to book! Then we had only booked a normal double room, this time a "spacious double room". It was well worth it! The room was very spacious, with a sea view and balcony with laminate floors! The overall condition of the hotel is rather ground and the breakfast was not worth 4 stars! But it was enough for two nights! In half an hour by train (the station is right by the hotel) for 9.10 € (per person return) in Amsterdam! The beach was very wide ... with fine sand and beautiful shells and suitable for running! Also the dunes you reached in a few minutes walk! As I said, for a short stay on the sea, highly recommended! read more
